Ravena is a very small village 20 minutes south of Albany. I have been going to this (and old)…read moreCumberland Farms Everyday, multiple times. The employees are always pleasant. I myself have young children and despite another review from "Jill" I feel completely fine bringing my children in the store. What is her primitive mind thinking? Does she think someone is going to jump over the counter and touch them?!?!?! Everyone should always be given a second chance. Not to mention "Jill's" children are All of legal age. A concerned life long resident of Ravena.

After dropping off an Uber rider in Athens, NY, I had plans of heading to Albany, and instead of…read moretaking the Thruway (I chose not to due to tolls I'd never get paid back), I continued northbound on Route 9W when I saw this Cumberland Farms. But when I stopped in, all the spots but the one were full. I had to wait a few minutes to let a spot clear, but it's flow seemed nice. I used my GasBuddy card for a pay-at-the-pump transaction (to get my 5 cents off per gallon discount) and although the filling portion posed no problems, getting a receipt did cause a problem. However, I wanted a receipt (I keep receipts as reminders to write these reviews at first), so I headed inside when the paper got stuck in the machine (when I had my one finger too close to the receipt door/opening). (I could feel it moving around and I could see it, but it didn't come out.) When I went inside, the cashier was nice. She tried to crack a joke how instead of running around the parking lot yelling (and that's where I started laughing getting the jist), she printed me a receipt. According to your pin, the Manager in Training is really a nice person, but could use some common sense to not make such a joke (I almost took her literally, until I saw the direction she was going with the joke.) It was a first time running the "Gauntlet" up 9W from Coxsackie-Athens, but although not many trips have me going up to Albany via that side of the river, I don't expect to be back very soon. I saw a competitor around the corner from you, and although that competitors store is always a bit cheaper, I thank you for being the first station I noticed. I almost asked for an application to become a SmartPay member, but with everything I forgot and never asked...oops! I'll get to that online, I hope soon instead. Sorry. I've been finding myself stopping in to a few Cumberland Farms, though not many Cumberland Farms exist where I'm from (Dutchess Co, 55 minutes away): they become more common as I proceed north and up near you where things are heavier.

As an ex Starbucks employee of this location for over a year, I suggest keeping your children and…read moreteens away from this location and the people that run it if you value them at all, the employees do not clean at all, there are fruit flies Galore! And the only time they even attempt to get it cleaned up is when they have an inspection, and the employees use their phones all day while handling your food and beverages without gloves or washing their hands. That of which any customer can see themselves just from a short visit! If you visit this location, try not to get sick! A don't bother tipping because the employees steal from each other anyway, I was stolen from a number of times while working here. It's very unfortunate when there is so much potential. Lastly upper management allows employees to act, do, say, and treat others however they feel, making for a very hostile work environment, show up on the right day and watch employees have a screaming match or nearly get physical, and get rewarded for their bad behavior by getting to keep their jobs. I had to call the cops when a coworker sent their mother and other family members who are or were employed there to verbally attack me after they were rude for me for months and giving me dirty looks everyday, didn't like it when I finally gave them a dirty look back , for that I got cussed out and verbally attacked, when I called the cops to handle the situation because the (plaza manager) refused to handle it, the one who caused all these problems and sent their family up to verbally attack their coworker, and lied and said I had been harassing them, I am a gay man and am not interested in harassing any woman or female for 1 and for 2 they got to keep their position and probably got a raise, while I was transferred to a different location in the building. After that their family members walked around telling people that I was a snitch for calling the cops, as if I was suppose to swing on someone instead. Then the same person came over to that area and ran their mouth to me again a month later, and when I mouthed off back, from at least 30 feet away...they called the cops on me " using the excuse that they felt threatened " as if to get even with me for calling the cops after they actually did send someone up to threaten me . Of course because they are female and I'm a male and they had family ties to back them up the cops took their lying word for it, and it didn't help they had the rest of their family working there( huge conflict of interest )( who do not know me in the slightest) to help them lie... the same person who verbally admitted to having a sexual relationship with our general manager at this location to numerous people , but no one would believe me because of the constant lies these people would tell ... the only person who's story has been consistent is mine, but somehow it's still so unbelievable...Luckily I had put in a two weeks notice and was already 2 days away from ending my employment with this horrible company. So Calling the cops really did nothing but bless me with getting out that horrible situation just a little bit faster! I have been seeing a therapist and psychiatrist because this place has had me so traumatized and mentally withdrawn and am currently looking into an attorney over this matter. they should get a reality tv show camera in this place because the drama is jaw droppingly unreal. Starbucks should really pull out from this franchisee because they are giving the company a really bad look. As of recent someone at this location ( I know because it pops up in my phone contacts), has been making fake snapchats of me using my name and photos, as probably part of some plan to try and frame me for something. This is by far the most horrible place I've ever been employed at in my 31 years of life thank god for getting me out. I have also contacted the equal employment opportunities admin, the better business bureau and the New York State department of Human rights
