This has to be hands down the worst CVS in the Southeast. It's a shame they won't let you give 0 stars for a review. The staff is beyond rude with no regard for anyone's time or health. I've waited 20+ minutes on hold multiple times, and even been told "not to call about prescriptions". Today after 18 minutes on hold someone answered and immediately slammed the phone down without speaking. The service at this pharmacy is awful. I am a caretaker for my mother and can only get out of the house when I have an aide covering. I ran to the pharmacy to pick up my mother's meds. I was in line and stepped out to get an item while I was waiting. I returned literally with 30 seconds of stepping away and they were in the midst of shutting their screen on me because they were taking lunch. They said I could come back later (which I can't). They all could see me from behind the screen and would not help me, even though I explained that I had just been in line and I could not come back for several days and my mother needs her meds. Do they not realize that some customers can only get to their store during lunch? I had been in line in time. We have been customers for over two decades, but I will now be taking my business elsewhere. read more

Disorganized and overworked. As a result some are not nice to customers in a way that comes across as they are entitled to treat people poorly because of their working conditions. Corporate needs to do a process engineering study to solve obvious inefficiencies in the work flow design that are causing more time for movement and less time for customer satisfaction. read more

My wife, who has been extremely sick for 5 days, just went to get a Z-pack. She has a sinus infection. She's 43 and not a moron. The "doctor" gave her one, but post dated it for Friday...it's Monday. Wtf is going on here? She's not begging for narcotics...she's sick. She told her it could be allergies...it's not. I've never heard of a doctor denying someone sick before. Yes, let's make her suffer for 4 more days, pumping her body with pain meds and NyQuil all week, rather than letting her clear this up within a day or two. I can not for the life of me see a reason to force her to suffer with this sinus pain 4 more days. Her lymph nodes are so swollen, and her voice is gone. She's miserable and so sick. What a terrible doctor to do this to her. We live around the corner and will never step foot in that CVS again. Hey CVS, maybe hire your doctors who have a tiny bit of common sense and empathy. Nowhere on their website, nor at the store, are the pharmacy hours posted properly. They're not even correct on Yelp! The hours posted 7am to 10pm are the store hours not the pharmacy hours. The pharmacy hours are 10 AM to 6 PM on the weekends. It does no good to view the pharmacy hours on the website. It does no good to call the store and get the pharmacy hours because their misrepresented since CVS pharmacy "the store" are the only hours that are provided. You have to view the sign on the wall in front of the pharmacy states the pharmacy hours, but the website does not have the pharmacy hours. So, if you're in the store earlier... and you had better take note of the hours on the pharmacy wall, and please remember these times posted on the pharmacy wall are the pharmacy hours and no where else are the ones for the pharmacy posted. Doing otherwise, you might find yourself standing in front of a closed pharmacy window, on a Saturday or Sunday night, attempting to pick up your prescriptions... Not! What is going on with this place?!?! The pharmacy staff is beyond rude! Short, condescending and just flat out mean. It's not just one occasion, but every one. Especially with one of the female brunette employees. I'm just done with the attitude. I'll be taking my business to the Publix next door or Walgreens down the street. read more

I really don't go into a CVS that often. I usually get my prescriptions filled at Publix (die hard Publix fan!) so I have a rare need to venture into a CVS. However, with the redesign of this shopping complex, the CVS is much easier to get to and as Martha G. mentioned they do have a drive thru which makes it very convenient. Something about CVS has always thrown me off my game. I think it's the carpeted floors. You expect tile (or at least linoleum) in a shop like this and the carpet just takes me a moment to get used to. I do appreciate the difference and the sound quieting(?) effect it has on my shopping experience. Just not what I expect. The aisles in this store are clearly marked with big signs and for the most part the organization makes sense. I was only here on my most recent visit to price shop and I found a better deal elsewhere so CVS didn't win this time. read more

Pharmacy tech, Jessica, is absolutely awful. Repeatedly spelled my name wrong and then said how it was my fault and proceeded to say I had to fill every prescription even though cost was an issue. I called other CVS and asked if they had my meds. they stated they were out. Called this pharmacy tech (Kevin) and asked if they had my meds. He stated that he couldn't tell me that over the phone (no problem with pharmacy). He asked what meds and what qty. why would he ask me that and then tell me to come by (when they didn't have it)?!! Terrible, long waits. No pharmacist to talk to unless it's maybe the one nice lady and 15 minutes until close. I'm done here, the customer service is awful!!! I will say one young lady with dark hair always remembered me by name (sorry I can't recall her name bc i always used drive through) but the staff seems to have a high turn over and no one seems to care about the patients. Highly impatient staff! Specifically the newer females I've encountered. Is COVID making the staff so irate with return customers? I'm sick of being asked have I filled there before when all you have to do is look up my info. Went to cvs to find out how much my prescription would be with a coupon. Talked to a woman with long straight hair. She said she couldn't give me a price since I didn't have the actual prescription in my hand. I questioned why and she then went over to an older man with white hair. She said "she's trying to make me run her prescription through without a prescription". I said I just wanted a price. He didn't even look up and said I needed to call my insurance carrier. Again I said I just wanted to know how much the prescription would be. Then he said they can't do that without the actual prescription. I then went to wallgreens. I again asked for the price. The very nice friendly pharmacist there told me it would be $120. I recommend everyone go to Walgreens read more

Dealing with this place is terrible. Whether you go in and stand in line at the pharmacy (takes forever and the personnel in the back ignores you). If you go to the exterior drive through, better have time to wait also. I have moved my RX to the CVS in Target because of the rudeness of the manager. I was checking out and the shelf price was different from the buy one get one posted by the product. I suspended the sale and walked back to the shelf where it was clearly marked BOGO. The manager came over and said the sign didn't pertain to the product I was buying because even though it was the same brand the item it was packaged different. I asked him to show me where it said that and he said it didn't and walked away. He is extremely obnoxious. He made no attempt to correct the sign or put a label on the excluded item. He is not even pleasant when you walk in. RX are never ready on time. The CVS in target at JTB and A1A are wonderful to work with. read more

Great staff at this location. The nicest lady named Asha helped us yesterday. She was so friendly to my children even though she was busy stocking shelves. She also helped me find a hair wax I couldn't seem to find for my husband. She actually took me to it instead of just pointing or telling me an aisle number. She was also patient and kind during checkout while I tried to remember my rewards card number and ultimately had to do a new application. Great staff always makes for a great experience! This is the new CVS at the redesigned Sawgrass Village. What I like most about it is that they now have drive up window at the pharmacy. The interior looks bigger and better organized. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is that it still take long at the pharmacy line and when you get to the window the customer service is not consistent. Absolute worst do not go in there and expect any help you will go in at 4:30 in the afternoon at the One Minute Clinic that closes at 7:30 get skipped in line by I guess a local and then tell you that that was the last walk in that they can see for the day and then informed me I could drive to Arlington in 20 minutes from Ponte Vedra I don't know what she was on or how high she was but there's no way I don't care if you're flying you can get to Arlington to 20 minutes from Ponte Vedra again absolute worst do not go there expecting anything else but a headache read more

I have been forced to use this pharmacy because our family insurance plan requires it. Our prescriptions are never ready when we come to pick them up and we always have to make multiple trips there. Tonight was my second trip. I was told it would be ready at 3. When I got there it wasn't ready as usual. They said they would fill it in 15-20 minutes and asked me to sit and wait but I had to get to an appt. I told them I'd come back. Now at 6:15 I come back and it's still not filled! This happens almost every time. I am asking my company to relay this terrible service to BCBS so I can find a better pharmacy. read more

This is THE WORST pharmacy in the area. They order controlled substances, such as RX pain meds, on Mondays only and they do not come in until Wednesday. They have one lead pharmacist who is the only one who can handle a request for said RX. He does not work a regular schedule, so good luck filling this type of RX here. Also, if they do not have a drug you need, they will simply say, "we don't have it" and walk away. You have to literally wave them back down or practically yell at them to discuss when they could get it and could they please start some sort of process to get it. I've done this several times now. The actually pharmacists will do anything not to talk to or even look at customers. They stand on a raised platform about 20 feet away from the customers with their faces buried in a computer. I insisted one come to the counter one day to speak to me in semi-privacy as opposed to conversing across a distance of 20 feet. Zero customer service! Also, despite my request every single time I have dropped off an RX, they rarely text me to let me know my order is ready for pick-up. If they do have to order a drug, they will not take your RX until after they order it. They say that they cannot keep it. I know that is bull because every other pharmacy does keep it if they are going to order the meds. On several occasions, I have asked how I will know when to return with my RX. Last month, I was told to return in 2 to 3 days to check on it, 3 different times. It took 2 weeks to get my drugs. They seem to have very few procedures in place. Today, I stood in front of a pharmacy tech for 5 minutes waiting to drop off an RX while she talked on the phone to someone about dying her hair. Last week I called to check on a refill and was put on hold for 10 minutes. A different person eventually picked my call back up but could not figure out who had been working with me. I had to start from scratch with him. I am never the only person there who is frustrated by their service. There is always at least one other person going through similar things, when I am there. The store itself, is not nearly as stocked as Publics next door. If you are looking for make-up, hair dye, vitamins, over the counter medicine, etc. do not waste your time here. Publics has twice the stock of theses sorts of things. CVS actually manages my RX insurance. They dictate that I must buy any maintenance medicine at CVS or I would ALWAYS go to the nearby WALGREENS. Even though this is the closest CVS, by far, I will be going to a different one in the future although I have no idea which one. I've tried hard to work with this one for the last 3-4 months. read more

I thought I would try this pharmacy as it's a bit closer to home (than Walgreen's). The store itself carries a large variety of beauty products. The experience with the pharmacy was terrible. They were slow, disorganized, didn't have my medication in stock. They sent me to another CVS that supposedly had the medication I needed and assured me they had called the other pharmacy and transfer the prescription. I went to the other CVS. They claimed they never received a phone call from Ponte Vedra CVS. I looked for supplements during my 40 minute wait. I found several expired supplements (Melatonin and Resveratrol). I will stick with Walgreen's. read more
