I mean, it's a Wal-Mart... what is one to expect?…read more To be honest this is normally at least a four star experience for me, even being a Wal-Mart, but that being said I used to live nearby and almost always went in the wee hours of the morning (think between 3 and 5am) where the store was spotless and I would be one of the only other customers in there... I recently had the "pleasure" of popping in during normal hours and it was more along the lines of a two star experience so I see why so many are against this particular machine. Above being said, on a good day this particular store is in decent order and has pretty much everything you could need in a pinch... it's easily my favourite of the Wal-Mart branches between Phenix City and the neighbouring city of Columbus... this particular Wal-Mart definitely earns it's Super Centre title at least with a barber, nail salon, full grocery store, and everything in-between. The local Target, in Columbus, seems to have dropped a bit in recent years so while having nicer home stuff this Wal-Mart still reigns supreme in the one stop shop category and it seems that Wal-Mart is at least trying to catch-up in the style game that Target has so readily dominated in the category for housewares. It's almost a no brainer to come here if you're in Phenix City, but truth be told this Wal-Mart has it's ups and downs, but is certainly fare from the worst places you can go... just try and avoid crowded periods and you just might make it out sane!

One worker( because he is not a licensed mechanic) wanted to argue with me about the filter being correct just because it screwed onto the nut. I also can care less about what he puts on his vehicle which he claims was a Ford Expedition too. I have changed my oil myself and it has been done numerous times at the Ford dealership so I know what the right size filter fits on my V8 truck. They are too lazy to go inside the store for the right size and put a small unauthorized one on my truck. Walmart also does false advertising because they claim that you get a free Fram oil filter with their oil change options. However, if you look at your receipt, they give the option price and then charge you for the filter . Yes, my vehicle uses a motorcraft 820S filter or a Fram ph2. Save your vehicle and stay away from this place because the guy who collects the shopping carts had to tell Mr so called certified mechanic that I was right.

His behavior is night and day difference on and off medication, and years ago I noticed that some days he would be spacing out and others he would be restless even though he took the same pill at the same time every day. One day I saw the capsules in the light and there were different levels, so I bought a pharmaceutical grade scale (down to 0.001mg accuracy) and made sure it was calibrated, then did a quality control check on his meds. For a 15mg prescription, what was inside those capsules usually ranged from 12mg-18mg which would explain the shifts in reactions to his meds since as little as 3-5mg changed the reaction and I didn't want him overdosing especially. Normally I am one of those types that believes the best intentions unless direct evidence is brought forth, but I'm not gullible. It could be a machine glitched or a tech was still training, right? So in the past I would painstakingly make sure that all were 15mg and as a result his behavior leveled off. Problem solved. Today for his 15mg prescription I saw 10.6mg, 10.2mg, 7.6mg again and again 5-8mg less which is a big deal for his stability and the fact that we are paying for more than we're getting, which is upsetting. I called to ask what could have caused this shortage and they did say it was filled by hand by the pharmacist - not a technician, but was told a customer couldn't possibly know what they were talking about... Firstly I'm not stupid and I'm not talking anything overly complicated. It is weighing a single medication to check and make sure the numbers are the same and they're not - by a lot!! So she was rude, dismissive and hung up on me after *they* made a mistake with medication, the latter of which is a very serious deal! I will calibrate my scale *again* and if I'm wrong I will delete this review, but if I'm right I'm contacting corporate. If they are done by hand and it is this far off during a shortage, it's hard not to wonder if someone is skimming or trying to stretch medications when they should just say "we don't have enough to fill this prescription." While frustrating, I can respect that more than deception. Double check your meds, especially if you find their efficacy is variable or unpredictable. I would only give one star, but until today they have been neutral or friendly in customer service. But shorting prescriptions is a big deal and the way they handled it was wrong.

When he went to pick it up almost an hour later than the time it said it would be ready the lady that came up to the car asked him, "unless you got a text saying it's ready then it's not ready" he asked her if she had an estimated time and she just shrugged and walked off. He sat there for 2 hours and never received them. We called customer support and was told they had changed it from pickup to delivery and we would receive them the next day. Guess what never showed. Called customer support again to be told "due to covid we have lack of staff and drivers but we can refund you and you can go inside the store to do your shopping" Honestly I get it covid has messed everyone up but if you can't do pickups or delivery's don't give estimated times. And if someone calls about their groceries don't give them the run around just be honest. If we had been told "honestly you'd be better off getting a refund we're really backed up" we wouldn't be so pissed.
