I have used CVS pharmacy for years and the employees are very nice BUT I do not understand why they offer to sync your prescriptions so you can pick them up at the same time then something always gets delayed and you still end up having to go up there 2 or 3 times a month to get your prescriptions. One of my prescriptions was cancelled for some reason the end of December and I ordered it again this am. Tonight it was cancelled again. So when I called the pharmacist is going to refill it again now but now it is 2 weeks off from the rest of my prescriptions so it will no longer be in sync with rest of them. The pharmacist was not able to give me a reason it was cancelled just a glitch in the computer. It's frustrating having to keep going to CVS just to pick up all of your medications that are the same medication you have been on for years. read more

Called in at 8:40 pm on August 24 to fix an order made on my behalf that was delivered to me (because I'm sick) , the worker who answered the phone was super rude and asked "well what am I supposed to do deliver it for you? ". I told her "no ma'am , I just needed the order to be fixed and find if the driver who brought it was through Instacart so I could get it swapped out ". There was no need for her to get all defensive and give a customer an attitude who's peacefully looking to resolve the inconvenience. I'm convinced the people who complain about the pharmacists here are cranky. Makes sense, and I empathize with them. Medical care is just as stressful as it is important, and unfortunately pharmacists and pharmacy technicians get the butt end of the stick quite a bit. I've never had a bad experience with the pharmacists here, they've only ever been kind and helpful to me. Just like any employee at any business, if you are respectful and patient, they will be happy to help you in any way they can. read more

It was my third time into the pharmacy because they rang my Rx wrong. I'm a bit disabled when walking so it's a lot of work. I explained the issue about them not ringing it up under my insurance and what needs to be done. The lady I'm speaking to doesn't respond but moves over and another lady comes over and says 'you can't get a refund if it's been more than seven days!!' What the heck?!?!!Mean demeanor and without even knowing what has happened...so I have to explain to her. In the meantime, another girl found the information about the issue. And points me to someone else. Finally, the issue is taken care. NOW, I never expected them to say sorry for the screwup of ringing me up wrong in the first place. I don't expect it. BUT I do not like being treated like I'm the one doing something shady, when it's their mistake. They weren't even busy. Still shocked at the rude behavior. Worst pharmacy system I have ever seen. My doctor called in a prescription I have had filled here the last 2 months. Text tells me they need to contact my doctor for another medication option. Automated message tells me I can pick up next week. Pharmacist tells me It can't be filled here because my doctor is in another county. CVS told me 3 different things, talk a screwed up system that can't give me the correct info. Time to change pharmacy, it scares me they can't give a straight answer. read more

This CVS is right on the 76 which is great for me because it's right next to my favorite gas station. This is your typical cvs meaning pricey and not very busy. They do have a rewards card program and with these prices you will need it. Some of the employees are pretty friendly and some really don't care about you. They have just about everything from ice cream to t-shirts which I was surprised about but anyway. They have good hours and its convenient. read more

Horrible! Rude! Under staffed! Transferring out as soon as I can. Took me five days to fill 5 prescriptions. Had to get my dialysis center and my Doc involved. They lied and said they would be ready on Tuesday. Weren't avail until Friday. One being a immunosuppressive medicine. Had to Quarantine myself as I was not on my med because I ran out due to all the calls back and forth. Calls asking me questions they had already asked me. This place just stresses me out. I'm done. I wanted to review CVS.com period! So, I have moved to the Philippines and I have my scripts filled with me logging into my online account..... Well, I used to!!!! Now, they put a BLOCK in for "anyone outside of the USA can't do a thing on our .com account!" (Yes, they put a block on any server outside of the USA??) I was shocked because I can access ALL of my online accounts in the US from the Philippines!!!! CVS thinks they will stop online fraud and they will make their website so perfect if they do not allow their long time customers to use their own logon credentials???? This is one stupid "website engineer" to "pull the wool over the CEO'S eyes!!!!" So, if you leave the US for whatever reason....(Me, I moved her and my daughter ships my meds to me) Make sure to switch over to Walgreens period!!!! I don't really do reviews but I do hate when you're paying for a service you don't get. I send my sons prescription to this pharmacy because I thought it was convenient. I called ahead to see what they need to save time and make it faster since I had a sick child and needed the meds as soon as possible and when the medicine would be ready. I was there 40 minutes after they said it would be ready, waited in the drive thru for about 15 minutes for them to tell me I had to come in because there was a problem with my insurance. The ladies were rude and careless, they said I had to wait 20 minutes to have a seat if I wanted to or come back later because my insurance didn't cover that particular brand of antibiotics and they had to re-do it. I read some previous reviews and i fully disagree! The woman that has short hair and speak Spanish was SOOO nice to me! Thank you to her! Once she stepped in and had the opportunity to step off the line and help waiting customers, (she's the actual pharmacist people) the line went so fast! And she was very friendly. The woman that checks in drop offs is always very friendly and down to earth. I think her name is Ana, but in case it's not... She wears glitter eye shadow and cute earrings. I'm giving this store 5 stars because I love the store, and I love the employees. They have always been helpful, they give me advice, and create such a nice environment. It's always super clean too! They also helped honor a weird coupon I had once and I was so grateful. The pharmacy is holding it down. I feel so bad for them sometimes when they are clearly under staffed. With the Covid shots and tests, they are just keeping their heads above the water, and keeping business flowing. read more

Nothing too crazy here... They have stuff I need. I got a Hallmark Card, some brews, and a couple packs of Blend 27s. Customer service from the shirt & tie wearing "supervisor" wasn't all too great. No greeting, no thanks, no nothing... Just an all out awkward checkout process. Customer service was absent overall and lacking like their selection of brews and candy. Now that I think back, I don't recall any sort of customer service from any of the employees there-- very Twilight Zoneish. I don't think I'll return to this place. read more

They didn't have Pedialyte packets and peanut butter m&ms, but Juan will run back with you too make sure you're electrolyte tablets are 50 cents off. Sweet staff. The Gatorade selection is excellent. The cvs brand Pedialyte is like a savoury version of otter pops. As a plus they don't sell tobacco, because that's the death product. Alcohol is ok though in moderation. read more

I called about a prescription that was supposed to be filled 4 days ago and the moment I explained what I was calling for the pharmacist let out a short sigh. Maybe the sigh wasn't directed at me, I thought. Maybe he's experiencing computer issues or suffering from shortness of breath. Nope. He was being a (fill in the blank). The rest of our conversation was filled with obvious annoyance, long pauses and another sigh that was NOT due to asthma or computer issues. And what was I calling for? A refill on a prescription. I just switched to this CVS Pharmacy about 3 months ago from Walgreens. The Walgreens I used to frequent closed. So this would be the next most convenient location for me. Every interaction up until this point with Anna the pharmacist has been unprofessional rude and abrupt. The young lady that's always at the front desk counter and drive-thru window is always very nice and professional. Anyways Anna lectures me on the combination of prescriptions I get. I completely understand that she is just doing her job but she does not have to be unprofessional. To me this is just unacceptable. When it comes to medical advice I will stick to my doctor's recommendation. I've been seeing him for a long time and he understands the many injuries and surgeries I've been through. Just because the girl that is always at the front desk / drive-thru window is very nice I'm going to give this place one more chance. I love my coupons. I went to return something that I had used my 25 % off coupon with and I wanted to use that coupon on something else. I told this to the cashier before turning my item, and when I went to purchase the new item with the coupon she told me I couldn't use it because I had already used it on something else...She saw me upset about said there is nothing she could do about it. Frustrated, I asked to see her manager. Jay the manager on duty was super helpful, polite, and professional! He helped me use the coupon on something else. I've been a customer at this CVS for greater than 20 years and today is first time that I've had a bad experience; it started while I was waiting in line (there was no one at the register) and I was purchasing alcohol so I couldn't use the self check-out. I noticed one of the store workers and asked her for assistance (showing her the alcohol), she asked that I wait a moment....well it was more than a moment (but I survived)..My main concern is that I wanted to purchase some ice cream that was listed as buy one, get another 50% off; "Hannah" the store worker did not ring up the 50% off, she said that it did not come up on the register, I mentioned to her that the tags on the ice cream read differently, she proceeded to huff and puff off to see for herself, she returned with the tag and said it was expired, I asked how was I to know that and all the other ice cream had the same 50% off tags, she said she looked at all of them and the particular brand that I wanted was the only one that had expired and proceeded to blame someone else for not removing the tag. When I told her that I didn't want to purchase the ice cream she appeared more agitated, aggressively taking the ice cream out of the bag. My overall thoughts on this is that when and if something is advertised at a discounted price, that's the price the consumer should pay because it is not the customers responsibility to read the fine print on every tag in the store to see whether an employee forgot to do their job. CVS, in Oceanside off of Frazee rd. I went to go buy Johnson Johnson baby wash, they had a deal for buy one, 2nd 50 percent off. I had 3 coupons for bogo for that product. At first I got 4 bottles, once we rang up she told us that we had to get 2 more bottles in order to get the free bottles. So I told her I understand the deal I made my hubby go get 2more bottles. She told us she's been dealing with stuff all day. Also, she said someone came in and try the same deal too but t they didn't understand the deal but they still got the deals. My gut feeling was hispanics because they probably don't understand the whole deal. I also told her that she was really explaining everything to me and friendly. read more

The worst customer service I've ever received. My sister underwent surgery to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed and I took her prescription here to get it filled bc that's the pharmacy she pointed me to in her anesthetic state of mind. I roll through the drive thru to fill the prescription and the young lady behind the window asked me if I'm fulfilling it for today I tell her yes and she tells me it'll take 30 mins and to come back. My sister's in no pain so I go to In and Out grab a protein burger. All is well up until the last 10 mins we had to wait to get the prescription, the anesthesia is wearing off and she's in a lot of pain so I get in line for the drive thru. I get to the window and the young girl says she's getting the pharmacist. The pharmacist says they couldn't fulfill the prescription bc the Dr. didn't put her DOB or address on the prescription and says that they can't fulfill it. I'm like well why didn't the other lady say that before and the pharmacist blames me for driving off and said I that I'm supposed to wait until the the prescription is in the system especially for prescription like the one I provided her as if it's a fake. So I'm like whatever I give the information and she tells me it's going to take another 30mins. I tell her my sister just had surgery and she's in pain I asked her if she could fulfill it while I'm there and she flat out says no and that if I couldn't wait she can give me back the prescription to take it somewhere. Excuse me? I just said my sister's in pain why would I go to another location? She says it'll be ready in 30. So I park and set my timer for 20 min, my sister is balling in pain and there's nothing I can do. 10 mins to go I pull behind 2 cars and when I get back to the window the girl at the windows goes to check to see the prescription is ready this time a guy returns and says it hasn't even been 20 mins and I'm like yes it has I had my timer set and he says well we have a time stamped in our system and its not 20 mins you have another 7 mins. I'm the only one in line at this point and he tells me to come back in 7 mins. 7 MINUTES!!!! Sister's shaking in pain and he's just so rude and adamant about parking and coming back in 7 minutes just to complete a 30 minute wait time. It's just so inhumane. Their entire moral ethics is just messed up. Worst service I've had since the pandemic. Bad attitude and lack of empathy and sympathy. One bad apple after the next no wonder this place has 2 stars. read more

On Wednesday, May 27, 2020 I visited the CVS pharmacy at 4615 Frazee Road in Oceanside, CA to have a prescription filled. As I waited to be helped, I noticed a female worker behind the counter not wearing a mask. She was stocking medications on shelves behind the counter. I called the pharmacy after I returned home and spoke with one of the pharmacists about the employee not wearing a mask. The pharmacist stated she knew who I was talking about as she had noticed her too. Because I am 81 years old and more susceptible to viruses like Covid 19, it upsets me to see someone handling medications and not have a required mask as mandated. It is hard to believe that CVS would allow this in their store. I went to two other CVS stores and all their employees were wearing masks. read more
