Making the obvious comparison to Wawa, RoFo doesn't have as wide of a prepared food selection... It's mostly just fried chicken, though that's fine when you /want/ chicken. The rest of the store is clean, new, and has a good selection. And you can get in and out pretty quickly. Checks all the boxes for a general convenience store.

The store does have a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables for being so small, and is a predominantly international foods spot as they are lacking in some of the choices I would normally get at a regular supermarket, like Tyson frozen grilled and ready chicken. Of the selection they have, some things are more expensive than others. It's just nice to have a supermarket in norristown that I can walk too when I need real, healthy food ingredients.

Wow, this really is hidden…read more When I drove up to the address, I thought the Yelp address was wrong since it looked more like a lot of a car workshop. However, the food cart out front and a sign, if you look way up on the building, indicated it was the correct location. The entrance to the store is on the side of the building and if you turn left immediately after entering, you will see a few yellow benches. All signs are in Spanish (a good sign) but the menu has English explanations as well. I started with a Ceviche tostada which had good acidity and a nice crunch from the tostada but the shrimp (and fish?) that was marinating in there had turned a bit tough. Overall still good and I recommend having it with one of the many hot sauces/salsas on the table. Next, I had to try the Lengua taco which was the star of the show by far - succulent, tender and juicy. Try this with the salsa rojo (red) which is nice and spicy. The Al Pastor taco, which is my way to benchmark taquerias was unfortunately not the best and the pork was a bit dry. The Jamaica I ordered was nice and refreshing. A bit sweet but refreshing nonetheless. While leaving, I picked up a few items from the grocery store and could not resist peeking my head into the food cart outside which I believe also belongs to the store. Elote!!!!! How could I not get one? Only $2 for a delicious ear of corn slathered in mayo, cojita cheese and sprinkled with chili lime. This could be a light meal in itself. Fresh Mango!! In a little refrigerated case just outside the food cart. They doused it with lime juice and sprinkled chili powder which took this to a whole new level. Reminded me of how they serve pineapple on the streets of India. Highly recommend trying it if you want an authentic experience but I have to say we are lucky these days to have some good Mexican options around (El Limon, Three Brothers, etc) so we have been a bit spoiled. Now, off to plan a trip to Mexico City for a true Taco run.

Complaints to store or local police go unanswered. They shut off curbside delivery early (posted 6-10pm) or do not offer it because it is rarely available. Store has no public restrooms. I must admit there are some really nice people that work in this store. The only good thing at this Wawa. Cancelled my order will head to another fast food establishment. Wawa get you act together.
