This is my neighborhood CVS within walking distance of my house and I come here at least once a week! One thing I love about purchasing from here is the coupons on the receipt that make you want to buy more. lol I get all kinds of things from here, cards to mail to my friends/family in other states, hair dye, dish soap, toys for my son, seasonal items, everything!!! We visited Urgent Care and had to fill a prescription. The pharmacy was busy and the wait was an hour. The prescription was filled accurately. The only downside was the pharmacy tech took my husband's number but never called when it was ready. read more

I had to transfer a prescription from Optum to CVS because Optum couldn't deliver it on time, and I was out of my meds. UHC/ Optum make it almost impossible, particularly on the weekend when their regularly pharmacy line is closed (!!!!) Alicia, the pharmacist at CVS was patient and was willing to help me while I bridged a call with Optum service line. Alicia is a true hero and a great patient advocate. Thanks Alicia. read more

Stopping in on a Sunday afternoon in April, the staff were helpful at this CVS, but the aisles were bare. They were out of many medications and other essentials. However, they did have a section of coloring books that my seven-year-old daughter loved. read more

I got very sick on my trip to NOLA and felt lucky to find such a well-run CVS. They had all the medicines I needed and the pharmacists were helpful and courteous. The only negative is the neighborhood - I had 2 different men approach me outside this CVS when I was going to walk to my hotel. One was out of his mind on drugs. Didn't feel safe, so i went back inside and called an Uber. read more

This CVS store is across the street from my favorite downtown supermarket, which makes it a handy quick stop, although I rarely need them due to Rouses having everything I'm after. The store is fairly new, smaller than most of their suburban stores, clean and easy to shop. They've got pretty much the same product offerings every CVS has, plus liquor (a NOLA staple). May 14, 2024 -- CVS South Claiborne and Napoleon Desired consultation with pharmacist regarding a new prescription. My questions were personal as the medication was to be applied to a personal body part. Instead of coming to the counter to speak with me the pharmacist wanted me to inquire aloud my concerns as he stood in the back area. I asked him to come down to the counter (so we could talk privately) but he did not in fact he seemed taken aback by my request. Fortunately 2 pharmacy assistants were very responsive but had to relay some of my questions to the pharmacist and the assistant in turn gave me his response. I want the pharmacist to know that he acted in an unprofessional manner and that sone concerns are quite private. read more

Rude clerks. After buying numerous items we were told we can't use the bathroom. Go to Rouses across the street for better customer service.

I moved a block away from here over a year ago and have been shopping here about two to four times a week that entire time. The store is clean and organized. The staff are very polite and helpful. I have used the pharmacy regularly and have always received reliable service. One piece of advice I would give, and this goes for CVS and the Rouses across the street -- do NOT try to skip the meter because you think you will be just 'in-and-out.' I go to this area daily and I'm telling you -- there's a meter-maid just waiting for you to close the door. You'll walk out five minutes later with a ticket if you are lucky and a boot if you aren't. Another tip: If they don't have something on the shelf, ask them if it's in the back. I've been told by staff that they appreciate this because it lets them know to restock an item. They are wheelchair accessible, do not accept Apple Pay, and do not offer family or gender neutral bathrooms. read more

Went in to get Flu booster. Completed giving all my information at 1:20 pm. They asked when I would come back for injections. I told them "now". No , no- we are going to lunch in 10 minutes so you will have to come back in just over an hour. I think that my time is as valuable as theirs is, so I left and will go somewhere for my flu shot. read more

This CVS is in town. We paid fo parking because we also went to the grocery store. The staff was less than friendly. When I got to the register to pay the girl had just walked off. I said excuse me. Then it appeared intentional that she was stalling to return to check me out. I think if you can go somewhere else go. read more

I work in customer service for over a decade. I get it, people can be rude and unreasonable. However, I keep finding that the CVS pharmacists here and on Magazine always seem annoyed and are rude to visitors before even speaking to them. I get customer service sucks and isn't considered part of the pharmacists job, but no reason to be nasty and confrontational when someone is trying to be pleasant and understanding. Save yourself from spoiling your mood and go to Walgreens. read more

Walked in with my husband to buy shoe inserts and some nicotine gum. We removed the gum and inserts from packaging and asked the cashier if he could throw it in the garbage for us since it was right behind him. He refused and told us we needed to go across the street to throw it away. I worked for CVS for five years when I was younger and would never treat a customer that way. Very rude!! read more

I got stopped as soon as I came in the door. I was told I needed to mask up. No problem. While I think it's ridiculous I'm happy to comply. Can I have a mask? We don't have any. You have to buy one. I frequently park at the parking garage upstairs and walk past this CVS. I used it once before, years ago, with no issue. I stopped by again yesterday for some basic supplies and was pleasantly surprised with the friendly and courteous service I received from Carter. He assisted my sister with finding a substitute item she needed and when I didnt have my card, he offered another in order for us to receive the store discount for the items my sister needed. From the greeting upon arrival to the farewell when we left , Carter provided some of the best customer service I've seen, especially here in New Orleans. Thanks Carter! Thanks CVS. read more

Words cannot express how happy I am this CVS opened. It's frighteningly clean and the people who work there are SUPER nice. I've shopped and taken care of pharmacy needs at this location, and I've NEVER been disappointed. Well, the only time I was disappointed is when I was looking for red velvet oreos and they didn't have any. I'd recommend this location to anyone. Perfectly good cvs. I wish they had salt and vinegar chips. But besides that the pharmacy and snacks were great.

I went to this location several weeks ago and some of the employees were not wearing masks as Is required by the city. I spoke to a regional manager who promised me they would make sure employees would wear masks. Today I went back to the store to pick up a prescription and one of the the same employees was not wearing a mask while he stocked the shelves. In fairness, the pharmacists are excellent. Now sit back and let's see what kind of corporate line I get about how much we all mean to CVS. read more

The manager of this location is super friendly and helpful. She seems to know her regular customers really well and she is very attentive to her employees as well. People should be so lucky! Probably the best CVS I have ever visited! read more
