Stopped by to get some shampoo and birthday cake mix! The store is very well lit which was welcoming compared to other ones. Sections were updated and had lots of deals in store! Shelves were organized and well set up with accurate stickers. Dates were off on many products so that could use improvement but overall many products to shop through. Damari checked us out at the register and was very friendly! Took his time making sure our order was done correctly and had assistance from a coworker when a line started to form. I visited this CVS yesterday to get my first COVID vaccine (which I went 45 minutes out of the way because everyone is booked). I had a 10:30 appointment and it made absolutely no sense to have an actual time because it's not honored. I waited over an hour to get my vaccine. There were only two people giving out the vaccines and the lady told me that they give about 80-100 vaccines a day (x2 with the other person). Some people were waiting their 15 minutes at the chair so it made the line even longer. When I finally sat down, there were electronic issues getting me checked in. It was just an unorganized mess all around. The CVS looked like a mess and I wasn't interested in getting anything to drink after this debacle. Not a great experience. read more

I would give 0 stars if it was an option. The Pharmacy has lost my business and all of cvs for that matter. Pharmacy manager is rude, condescending, and quick to make a smart mouth comment. She will admit fault and say her team lies but not take responsibility for that fault and do anything about it. This is the slowest group of pharmacy people I've ever met .... sorry it's the truth !!! I put a refill in on a Monday morning for it to be ready Tuesday at noon. Wasn't ready! So I called at 6pm Tuesday because no alert said it was ready. The guy asked "oh you still wanted it today ?!!???" Yes!! My entire reason for asking for the date and time. Then they couldn't tell me why it still wasn't ready 2 hours after I called and asked for it. The worse .... driving the next town over. read more

Waited forever today to get a flu shot!! Was told to sit down and wait a few minutes for a form to fill out. 15 minutes went by still no form, asked the person how first told me to sit down, how much longer. She said it still needs to be printed out, it will be out in a minute. Few minutes when by again still no form. Total of 20 minutes and then the form came, filled it out waited for about 2 mins and then taken to get the shot on a folded chair that said "flu shot" lol. I would mind the wait but there was no cell service there and you just stuck there watching people come and go. So if you like to wait forever of a flu shot be my guest and go here. You will be in and out in just about 30 mins! read more

i used to be a customer here and the service went downhill so i switched to rite aid and i really was pleased, well for a few reasons i had to transfer some prescriptions back to cvs here in naugatuck, well this was a big mistake because it reminded me just how rude and unprofessional they are here, ok maybe not all of them, but one or two.. specifically and her name is JANA, i had to speak with her today and she was snippy, snotty and not very friendly or helpful!! shame on her for treating customers as such! i and everyone else that goes there, need certain meds well she could care a less!! this-- right here reminds me of WHY i switched then and i will have to once again!! if you cannot be pleasant with the public, find a new job!! i myself was in customer service for 33 years and being kind.. goes a long way! read more

CVS Pharmacy in Naugatuck...not talking about you front of store, just the PHARMACY...why is it like pulling teeth to get what you want??? Why are you so incompetent!?!?!?! This isn't just one time....its every time. You decide what the dr. prescribes isn't what YOU want to give out so you change it...yeah, that makes sense. So the Dr. office has to call me and tell me they have no idea what YOU are doing....just changing the prescription because its not covered, so they'll give you something different. Now I have to go to a different pharmacy and wait even longer just for some cream for my face. Give me a break. And when you leave a message, can you be more clear? Like a name of who is talking would be nice... Be a little more customer friendly....would do wonders. read more

The store and pharmacy is always busy and full of customers. Since the start of COVID19, the drive throughs are just as busy - the lines for both the COVID19 testing and pharmacy pick up/drop off. A word of warning, there are 2 lines, 1 can be used for COVID19 testing but both can function as pharmacy pick-up/drop off. If you find yourself using the 2nd "outside" line, know that it might take longer for someone to get back to you and you might find yourself waiting for awhile. Idk if it's because they do not understood how to make the latch drop off/pick up mechanism work or if the store is too busy to deal with at the time. Additionally, because you are speaking to a machine, you must speak loudly and clearly for you to communicate with the pharmacist. That being said, you can ideally have contactless communication and get your medication without interacting with anyone (tho the people in the next line getting COVID19 tested do pose a little risk). read more

I repeatedly receive text messages to pick up my dogs prescription and they can't find it. The pharmacist and cashiers seem unsure how to use the system and need help on every step. I have had my dogs prescription filled for amongst a year and every time its an issue. read more

Believe it or not the drive-through is actually faster than going in person. For some reason they can get through 10 cars before they can get through three people. I just went to this location to pick up my prescription that I got a txt msg 8 hrs ago that it was ready, I get to the drive up window, the women tells me to wait 15-20 mins and both my inhalers will be ready to pick them up at the same time, so I wait. And wait in drive thru line again, probably been an hour now with the wait in line and everything, I get to the window the second time, and she tells me it's not ready until tomorrow now after waiting almost an hour to pick both of them up at the same time, this location is beyond ridiculous, and then she has the nerve to tell me that they don't want me as a customer, I've never been treated so poorly in my entire life after they wasted an hour of my time. I will never deal with cvs ever again. I will switch locations for my scrips this month, and I will make sure I switch pharmacy's all together to never go to a cvs ever again in my entire life. And I will make sure I post this every where I possibly can. So that everybody can see how ridiculous cvs is. Really nice manager, he told me I should of never been treated that way after getting my time wasted like that and said he was going to go talk to them right after our phone call. Nothing poor and nothing great to say about this pharmacy! :) Just wanted to remind anyone about to complain about the time it takes to get their prescriptions that this is a high traffic store! Meaning there are many many prescriptions coming in at a time and a lot of info needs to be entered and a lot of errors to be corrected! Just because you can't get your oxy's and your xan's within .5 seconds of having your doctor send the prescription over doesn't give you the excuse to be a complete twat! Very decent CVS location. Plenty of parking, friendly staff, and everything is labeled and fairly easy to find. Have not visited the pharmacy yet, but will re-write the review if I ever do. Prices were great with every visit. I had to stop there numerous times before hikes and beach visits and always found sunscreen, sunglasses, blankets, snacks, and aloe vera at a great price. Intersection is a bit difficult and confusing. The exit by the entrance is a right turn only, but if you go around back the exit will lead you to a left turn. A great location for anyone who lives in the area or needs to make a quick pitstop while on Route 8. read more

First let me say that the star rating is solely for the pharmacy and not the front end/store. The front end and staff is always great and deserve 5 stars. The pharmacy however is a whole different story. The techs and pharmacists are incompetent and rude. Unnecessarily long wait to have rxs filled even if they aren't controlled. Why does it take over an hour to put 1 boxed inhaler in a bag?? Worst thing is 95% of the time if there's an issue with my rx I'm not called and it just doesn't get done. I find out after I wait hours with it showing "in process" only to find out when I finally call and see what the hold up, that it's out of stock, denied by insurance, ect....I am chronically ill and require several medications that I fill monthly for YEARS now yet they never have half of them in stock. Like you know I'm gonna need them, every month, like I have for the past 5 yrs. I've been treated like a drug addict as well for asking to buy needles to inject progesterone (had the vile of it on me to show them too!) and I was obviously VERY pregnant. Pharmacist scoffed and said I needed a prescription and she can't just sell me needles and made me feel like a junkie or something. Plus actually according to state law you can sell them without an rx! Ugh But I still had to call my OBGYN back and make them send an rx over for them...theyre consistently horrible in every aspect. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The pharmacy staff is nothing but RUDE. I've been shopping there for years, and it's never changed. From the beginning they could never get my street address or my phone number right so everytime I would go in there, it would take them forever to figure out who I was. And tonight...I've had enough. The pharmacist, a woman with short brown hair, seems to egg the whole staff on too. They laugh at the customers waiting in line and make faces. They seem as if the work is so overloaded and everyone should just deal with it. It's very disrespectful. I was picking up at the drive-thru once, the girl that was helping me didn't hardly make eye contact or even crack a smile. She asked me a question and I did not here her, so when I asked "what was that?" I got a huge attitude as if I was stupid. The nose ring too, had to go. Tonight I went to pickup as well, and decided to go into the lane where the paper shoot is. A young lady with curly brown hair came over the speaker and said, we will help you when lane one is finished. There were three cars in the lane and another pulling in. That was fine with me, I was in no hurry. She hung up the phone and turned to her coworker, pointing at me and shaking her head with a smurk as if I was some kind of ignorant. JUST BE NICE PEOPLE!
