We just moved here from Indy. Given the bad reviews I had low expectations but I went ahead and…read morethought I will try to give them a chance since my previous pharmacies were CVS. I also never post reviews because why waste the time. Then I also realized we no longer take the time telling people what a great job they are doing. We have been here four months and have had nothing but a very positive experience transferring, filling, and dealing with prescription issues. So much better service than I ever experienced in Indy. Yesterday I wanted to speak to the pharmacy to see if the approved medicine was in stock. I got stuck in the CVS phone tree nightmare. You can no longer speak directly to the pharmacy directly, you are supposed to leave a voicemail and they will contact you in a defined timeframe. I of course I didn't believe it, cursed at the phone and hung up. 1/2 hour later the phone rings and it is CVS stating that they had a call from this number and how could they help me. Now that is good customer service! They answered my question and filled my script within the hour. This is a top notch pharmacy! Thanks for making this transition easy. A big thanks to the pharmacy staff for all they do to ensure our prescriptions are filled and pickup is smooth!

They called twice today (within 10 minutes of each other) with a different story each time. We have been trying unsuccessfully to get a script which the doctor says she sent 2 weeks ago. Walgreen's first said it wasn't received and has several times blamed her office. I trust her far more than Walgreens.

First bad experience they didn't have enough of a medication to fill my whole order and gave me 10 pills with the assurance that I would get a call when the rest was available. Over a week later I called them and they told me that the script had been filled but then thrown out as it wasn't picked up. I reminded them that they said they would call me and the pharmacist told me they don't call customers. That exact moment another person working there was on a headset and said into it " hello Mr _______. This is Walgreens calling you to let you know your prescription is ready" Like...right in front of me while the other guy is saying they don't call people. Then...another script, i called numerous times and they said there was something about the insurance and they would look into it and call me back. 2 days later I again called THEM and they lied to me saying someone called and left a message saying the insurance required mail order and they can't/won't help me further. No calls and no messages no voicemails came to my phone from them so that wasn't true. So...I called my insurance. They said they don't require mail order and told me they would look into local preferred pharmacies they use and guess who they came up with first!? This very walgreens. When i told them that walgreens told me you told them they can't fill this script the agent said there is no way that is true as thier clients use that pharmacy often and there was nothing about mine that would make anyone tell them it had to be mail ordered. So they lied about calling and lied about why they wouldn't fill the script. So they lied numerous times to me, refuse to be helpful and have lost my business and anyone else I can tell about it. These are important mental health drugs that i need and have now gone 2 weeks without because of them givung me the runaround and lying. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business.

They may literally be the only other choices. I had previously used Panacea pharmacy, as they were locally owned and had prescriptions filled quickly. Williams Brothers seems to work on the basis of who is making the most noise or something. It certainly isn't taking them in order as they get them. I'm on pills that my doctor has to call in every month. I call my doctor, the doctor calls the pharmacy. Unfortunately, now I have to call to make sure they got the prescription and again to see if the prescription has been filled. Apparently their notification service doesn't notify you until the very last step. So you could have a prescription filled at 5pm (if you're lucky) but you won't get notified until they file it away for the night. I've only used them for a couple of months, but that may be enough. I'm not sure how or why they can't seem to fill prescriptions in a timely fashion, and it's certainly not because people are clamoring at the counter. It will be completely dead, and the prescription your doctor called in at 10 am still won't be ready. Real life example. My doc called in something for me yesterday morning. I called at 5 pm. It wasn't ready, but would be soon. (RIGHT!) I requested delivery, as standing around isn't something I can physically do much of. This another confusing area. In the past I was told that if a prescription was requested to be delivered by 2 pm, it would make it. The guy yesterday said deliveries started around noon. In any case, when I woke up, there was no notification that the prescription was ever filled yesterday. Either they're sitting on it and will fill it later, or their service shut off again. I prefer to patronize smaller and local businesses when I can, but they make it tough. This may be the last prescription I have filled through them. I HATE CVS, but I'm sure they at least fill my pills in a timely fashion.

I asked him his name because I wanted to make sure I had it when I report him to the State Board of Pharmacy and to CVS corporate. As a response he took the insulin away from me that was for my son, who had run out of supply today. He said he wasn't CVS and didn't have to give me the insulin and forced me to apologize. I will never patronize the CityWayCVS again and if I can help it, any CVS which is hard due to their monopoly on the market. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional.
