The female manager is awful - constantly screaming at staff in front of customers. She is very abrasive and rude. Staff are almost never at the registers and rarely paying attention to what's going on near them. When the self checkout has an error, it takes forever to find and flag down an employee. They are always out of everything and the restocking schedule is weird and unpredictable. To top it all off, I don't mean to be unkind but one employee there smells so bad that I have to cover my nose and mouth the keep from vomiting whenever he's nearby. Someone needs to have a conversation with him about hygiene and deodorant - like he literally leaves a trail of stench everywhere he goes. It's really bad.

Also makes it a little tricky if they have a truck doing deliveries. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything I needed or some good deal, I feel like prices are just so high here. A intuition shaver bar, lysol wipes or liquid IV are insanely expensive when I could save money and get bigger at a Costco type store. I did end up leaving with one purchase, these cute little star acne patches. They are in a case that you need employee assistant to open, but once I pushed she did come right over. Self check out was easy and got cash back.

Even for being a small business, they have always carried whatever I've come in for. The pharmacists are generous with their consultations and give great advice that you'd have to wait on hold for with the nurse advice line. I much prefer to pick up my prescriptions here and get a thorough explanation (or with an inhaler I recently needed, a demonstration, since I've never used one) than picking something up from a big name, anonymous chain store. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

In my experience, it's impossible from the big chains. Skendarian is one of the rare places that can not only create custom topical/transdermal medications, but do it exceptionally well. My Boston vet had directed me to an out-of-state pharmacy to make a topical version of the steroid my cat could not tolerate in liquid form. It would have taken at least five business days for me to get the meds, even paying for express shipping. I remembered that Skendarian can compound medications on site. I called them. They had the prescription cream it ready the same day they received the prescription! I'm embarrassed to write that this is not the first time Skendarian came through for our household when no other pharmacy could. The experience reminded me how critical it is to patronize local pharmacies for every day needs. CVS or Walgreens would not have done for me at all what Skendarian was able to do in ONE DAY. I wish I lived in Cambridge rather than Boston so I could do all my drugstore shopping there. They are the best. Seriously.

They have the standard resort souvenirs such as T-shirts sweatshirts keychains magnets all the standard selection at most resorts. They also have a miscellaneous of small gifts and candy packages. I was surprised to see but they sell cigars and cigarettes as well as cold drinks. You may use your comp points and comp dollars in the store. If you're here only once or twice a year make sure you stop in and use all your comp points prior to leaving the resort your points are only good for six months so use them up before you leave. Your Boston points are not good in Vegas. I want my cousin he left $50 on the table he could've went in and bought a sweatshirt or a bunch of candy and a bunch of cold drinks so make sure you utilize it before you leave the resort. As of right now parking is still free but I have noticed they put in a few gates so I believe they're ramping up to start charging again.
