You would think that having a major pharmacy retailer in a small town would be convenient, but after the service I received today I would rather drive into San Antonio than ever shop at this location ever again! Tried to pay for a $2.36 prescription using a new insurance card and I was told that I needed a pharmacy benefits card with a BIN number. I told Nicholas that I have been with my insurance company and CVS for 8 years now and have ALWAYS only provided my insurance card to the pharmacy. If the information was not on the card, the pharmacy would contact my insurance and retrieve the needed information. So I figured, instead of driving 10 miles home and 10 miles back to CVS, I would ask if he could call my insurance company. Well, I guess that was too inconvenient for him. He said, "Well, uh, well I guess, uh."...10 min. later another technician came to the window and said," yeah, like he said, we need you pharmacy benefit card..." and again I asked if they could call the insurance company for that information and she said, "Yeah, but you are going to have to wait 1 hour!" **There are 4, I repeat, 4 people working in the pharmacy at the time** So I drive 10 miles home and 10 miles back and wait in line again only for Nicholas to come to the window and not greet me in a professional manner but say, "I need your card". I gave him the card then he threw the meds and my cards in the basket and said, "I need a signature"...AND WALKED OFF!!!! NO "thank you" or "have a good day" or even "sorry about the trouble". HE JUST WALKED OFF!! I have lived in the city for 10 years and the CVS stores that I have used have significantly more customers and work load than this small CVS in Lytle, but the customer service was ALWAYS on point, even at 3am. Needless to say, CVS has lost a customer!! Thanks Nicholas! read more
