Would make remarks and throw the weight of the items they were purchasing into their hands or in their cart. I genuinely felt bad for older customers who needed a bit more time to read the card scanner as he would immediately press the payment button instead of letting them type in their numbers and would say "you had all this time to type in your number" when they were about to press the keypad. He would throw the things in his hands down and groan every time someone came up to the cash register if he was away. It made the atmosphere very uncomfortable. I would just avoid entering altogether if you notice he's at the register.

They never have anyone around to help with that. If only they could figure out a way I could grab my own photos instead of waiting for the clerk to put down whatever they're doing, let out a long sigh, a defeated look, and march over to get my single picture that I printed out for under a dollar. This location is caddy-corner to a big middle school. It's got a nice limestone finish to the exterior of the Walgreens. There's plenty of parking, and a signalized corner. It's not the easiest to get in and out of this, even though it's on a hard corner, because of all the medians that the city has put in. The ATM machine is USAA Federal Savings Bank.

Obviously there's no actual pharmacy here since it's on the river level with no access to street parking. It's not even your standard CVS. Sure, they have the basics like snacks, cosmetics, etc, but what tickled me were the ducky plushies in cowboy and beaver hats. There are also post cards and $20 phone chargers, one of which I needed since I accidentally left mine at the hotel. Would I come here to buy anything otherwise? Probably not, but it was certainly worth checking out. And the cashier was also very nice. She did ask if I have a phone number with CVS (I haven't for several years now. I wonder if they ever actually close those years old inactive accounts). She also allowed me to simply use the reusable bag from the Alamo we already had with us to save the trouble. Oh and an entire aisle dedicated to Texas and San Antonio. It was a fun time. Also, the shelves could probably stand to be wiped down more. Lots of dust. And what's this? No kitty cats to greet me? Now I'm sad. :( I'd come back just to see them, and they're good for keeping rodents away. So for the cat haters out there, bear in mind they're smarter than many give them credit for as they hunt mice and birds to keep the river walk free of infestations.

She was very polite and explained that delivery was handled through the front and transferred me. I've never had delivery done through anyone except Amazon so I wasn't sure what I had to do. That lady appears to absolutely hate her job. She shouldn't be working with the public. Maybe if she gets COVID, she will know how it feels to be sick AND to deal with people as rude as she is!

We have had delays previously, but it hasn't been more than a few hours. Since I use same-day service, I think this turnaround is still great. The cards come iut clean and the images are accurate. We did envelope printing this year and that was well done also. Walgreens.com usually has great sales on cards (up to 60% Off!), so be sure to keep an eye out for those to get the most for your money.
