When I am hungry, Turkey Hill is where I will go, especially when I am traveling. There are many hard-working people throughout the various Turkey Hill stores. And, though my many years on this planet has taught me that any store/person can have a bad day, what I can say about the Turkey Hill store at 735 S Broad St in Lititz, PA, is that the store and its personnel are CONSISTENTLY terrific. That consistency keeps me coming back. Every week, I travel to Lititz from my home in Lebanon County, and in over 3 1/2 years, I have never been disappointed with the service at this Turkey Hill. Of course the counter can be busy at certain times, but that is because the store is popular. The manager, June, is very personable and ready to help, and personnel such as Jess, are very hard-working and have, on certain occasions, impressed me with their ability to multi-task. The overall atmosphere of the store is upbeat, and SPECIAL DECORATIONS during the numerous holidays make the store a special place to drop in quickly or sit at the tables, dine in, and just take it easy. In short, this is, in my quasi-humble opinion, the best Turkey Hill store in the tri-county region. I highly recommend patronizing this Turkey Hill and, if possible, slow down and enjoy the store.

They said this happened to a previous customer. He asked if I got the cheap stuff. I said no I got the middle one. Neither seemed to know what to do and said they might have to call someone if it happens to someone else. I was in a rush so I said I would try a different grade. I went out and the higher grade worked. Meanwhile two other customers were having the same issue and I went to tell them the issue instead of the employees coming out. Hopefully they actually put a sign out there for future customers but not betting on it. Now it is two weeks later. I am hoping that the previous issue is a one time deal. I pull in, get out of my car and when I go to put my card in I notice a small note in maybe 12 pt font that says they are temporarily out of gas. That should be a big sign as to not waste our time. That should be on the big sign where the prices are. I saw 4 other cars pull in after me so I was not the only one wasting my time. They really need to get their act together. If this is going to be a regular issue I will take my business up the street.

Thought about getting an MTO, but decided that that should wait until after I was checked in and settled at the hotel. Items were well stocked and I made it through the line fairly quickly. I also made my way outside to load up my vehicle with my items. Before leaving, I ended up stretching my legs here too. This location, being so close to farmland, was surprisingly busy. Although, I have found that in this part of Pennsylvania, businesses are cropping up along busy stretches of road. That pun was intended there. Because these businesses now sit right at the edge of the farm, once where crops where grown.

One such sign recently decreed that the store would not be selling eggs to minors during Halloween for customer safety. Maybe the teens would rather throw a can of beans at my car anyway. One benefit here is the amount of gas pumps, usually you won't have to wait. On the other hand, there's barely anywhere to park if you're NOT getting gas.

This Wawa was no different. I am a Wawa newbie. My party obtained gas and utilized their restroom facility here. Restroom facility is relatively clean. Again, gas price was $4.56 per gallon and still waiting for downward trajectory. The retail space is larger than the standard 7-Eleven competitor and significantly well organized and cleaner. Staff is welcoming and attentive to non-Pennsylvanians like myself and my party. Unfortunately, there is only one ginger ale soda brand available. I purchased ginger ale to reduce my motion sickness of being in a car for four continuous hours on the road driving. Ginger ale is the only soda I drink as I stop consuming all other soda types/brands. Wawa practice penny rounding when payment is cash since the initiation followed by executive directive from No. 47 of the discontinuation for the U.S. penny (utterly despondent). It is indicated on the sales receipt as "Coin shortage." I did obtain my sales receipt which indicate the penny rounding implemented.
