Pharmacy staff is rude. Should work on customer service. Nasty attitude. Will get my prescription filled somewhere else from now on.

Terrible customer service and incorrect information regarding contacting you. Pure mismanagement and total lack of caring. So in line with the degradation of a healthcare system. My favorite Walgreens stores in the area are probably still the ones off Jimmy Carter in Norcross…read morefor meds and the one off Lawrenceville Highway in Tucker for the random deals and general emptiness when I go in. I've never been to this one until last month, when my hubby needed a COVID test to return to work. We scheduled ahead of time online but were running super late as I had just got off work and was already fighting traffic - add an accident to that and we were really behind. I called before even leaving our apartment, letting them know the situation. I can't speak on the retail staff, but the pharmacy staff was really nice and said they would still take us when we got there with an ETA of about 10-15 minutes. When we arrived, unfortunately, we ended up stuck in the drive-thru line behind about ten cars or so. We decided to just wait it out and see if they would still take us. We would've just gone inside if it was for anything other than a COVID test. By the time we got up to the front, it had to have been about 5:30. So we were like 45 minutes late or so at this point, as opposed to the projected (already late) time of 5:00. The gentleman who greeted us at the drive-thru counter behind the glass was not going to accept us at first. Thankfully after explaining that we called ahead and were stuck behind an accident and stuck in the pharmacy line, he and his co-workers decided to still help us and process my hubby's test that evening. We were so thankful, considering they didn't have to. From there the rest went smoothly. My hubby self-administered the rapid molecular ID now test and got his results in less than an hour, very quickly (and thankfully, negative!) The results were emailed to us without issue, just like the other locations do. We have no complaints with this Walgreens as a test site and were very thankful for the compassionate staff that still got us in, so my hubby could get back to work. We would come here again for testing if need be and recommend it to you if you need one and are in the area. So far Walgreens as a whole has been my favorite business to COVID test with as the process is generally smooth and results are quick!

I had one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had at the CVS Pharmacy on Indian…read moreTrail in Norcross on Friday afternoon around 4:37 PM. While standing in a long pharmacy line, I watched staff loudly lecture an elderly man about insurance and copays in front of everyone. It was not a private, respectful conversation. It was loud, sharp, and embarrassing for him. Another employee stepped in and somehow made it worse by speaking in an exaggerated, demeaning tone that sounded like she was talking to a child. There was zero effort to be kind or professional. I also heard a staff member snap at a customer who asked about Spanish language help and say, "We only speak English here." In a healthcare setting, that is beyond unacceptable. When it was my turn, I asked the pharmacist (Lee Trac) to apply coupons I had just added in the app. She immediately acted irritated, said she would have to void everything, and then made a big show of slamming items around when I said that was fine. After rerunning the transaction, she loudly pointed out that my discounts were only a few cents, as if that made my request stupid. It felt like she was trying to embarrass me for simply wanting valid coupons applied. Customers should not be treated like a nuisance for trying to save money. To top it off, when I went to the front of the store to ask who the manager was, staff could not even clearly tell me who runs the store. Multiple first names, no last names, and no clear leadership. That is a serious red flag. I have been to this location for years and have never seen it this bad. The level of discrimination immature attitude, and lack of professionalism I saw that day was shocking. No one should be treated this way when they are picking up prescriptions or asking basic questions. I left angry, uncomfortable, and honestly concerned about the culture in that pharmacy.

If she reads this or management, I hope you know she is the best reason for going there, because someone else was helping me today and it was awful. I can look past the mis-gendering and maybe they don't have what I need there (which is common at times), but all I wanted to do was use my own bag for a change and the lady was kind of rude and dismissive to me as I was going through the self-checkout and it prompted me that an associate was coming to help. She didn't really, she acted as if she was ring me up indirectly and when she didn't solve the problem I felt like she was standing there to make sure of something like was she scared I'd steal something?? Like I had something else to ring up but she was ignoring the whole reason she had to come over and rushing my through the process. I just... wanted.... To use... MY OWN BAG LMAO!

Although I have a number of masks I wasn't wearing mine but I did maintain about double the recommended six foot distance. The sheep that follow the guidelines to the letter stare at those of us who aren't covered like we are secondary citizens or have leprosy hey news flash you don't intimidate me so back off lol. Don't take me wrong I fully respect the seriousness of Covid-19 but I don't trust everything I'm told (it wasn't necessary for everyone to wear a mask when they weren't available unless your were a health worker or first responser now that the supply has caught up with the demand it's fast becoming a requirement) is that how it works? Okay enough politics - I'm walking around this store in awe of how nice it is and it's so clean, so my mask off the to management team and employees here, this may be the best looking Kroger's I've ever been in. There appears to be some hoarding still in play, the meat section was a little bare and the toilet paper shelf was a little lean I think these items best represents the barometer of the pandemic panic. There are some tricks to shopping in this new age of paranoid behavior, as with most challenges there are a few things that will fix some of the negative trends - if someone is idled too long in front of the wine section for example, just give a few short coughs as you round the corner and they will give you some space and move along, these may seem a little extreme to some but I've experience a few pretty ridiculous stall tactic in front of the produce sections, come on people make a list and get in and out the days of trolling the aisles is over and please leave the kids at home with a sitter. Kroger's has made some adjustments with how their employees interact with the customers and they all seem reasonable so we should support our local business that have put in the efforts - I'd definitely return to this location. Ok so why four stars there is a rent a cop at the exit that asked to see your receipt and never looks into the cart - get rid of the Barney Fife want to be he's irritating...
