I headed straight to the snack aisle and picked up some cookies, nuts, and chips. Checkout was fast thanks to a friendly employee who scanned my items and applied the coupon. CVS corporate has determined that you don't need to speak to a pharmacist when you call in - their automated assistant can read you your pharmacy status! Except it can't. I called two hours after the doctor sent the scripts over, and after navigating through the phone tree with a stuffy nose (its voice recognition only *facepalm*) It told me a prescription from months ago has refills. I tried telling it that I have a question for the pharmacist and it had me leave a voicemail. Awful customer service. I hope corporate gets its head out of its ass soon. Typical CVS store, but open 24 hours. I had a coupon and I decided to use it on some paper goods. They had a good selection of national brands as well as private label options. Without the coupon, I feel that most CVS items are overpriced...you are basically paying for the convenience..... I saw some of the associates getting stuff organized and arranged on the shelves and they were very friendly to people passing-by and other customers. I found the parking lot a bit small, but adequate. read more

I have always been treated so nicely with everyone in the store. The managers are great. They even recognize me and very pleasant. They go out of their way to find something as small as an eyeliner sharpener. There are a few people in the pharmacy that are just OK, could use some customer service training. There are some excellent ones there too. read more

I had some prescriptions transferred to this CVS and at first I tried calling them to see if they were ready and I must've waited 45 minutes on the phone nobody ever picks up and then when they did pick up I got disconnected. So I went down to the store and I was in line waiting to get prescriptions. There was seven or eight of us inline.I had to wait at least a half hour to get up to the counter with one person working the register and there was three others in the back that could've came up and helped, so this is very unacceptable. I sure hope they start having better service for the pharmacy area because I live close to there otherwise I might have to transfer them back to another pharmacy. read more

My wife and I have been going to this CVS for years at Sample and Federal in Lighthouse Point. The store is always clean and the service is always great. I believe the reason for this is because of the manager Martin. He is always extremely motivated and always smiling. This is the example he sets which I believe is passed on to the other employees there. They too are helpful and pleasant. Keep up the good work. read more

My experience here is limited to two visits for CoVid-19 vaccinations. Requesting an appointment on-line was simple, and while this location is not the closet to where I reside, it was the only one which showed availability of the specific brand (Moderna) I wanted to receive. There was signage upon entering directing you to the pharmacy counter. There was not, though, any signage which advised which line to join. There was a drop off Rx and pick-up Rx, as well as a consultation line. I waited on the consultation line awhile until one of the clerks asked me what I wanted and once explained, she advised me to go to the "drop off" line. The actual injection was done by a pharmacist, in an area away from the lines, but with no privacy. While there was a privacy screen which could have been used, it was not, which was disappointing. I agree with all the negative comments!! WORST pharmacy in the planet. People here think they own the store, there is an African American lady there that always treats people like trash. The drive through is a disaster. they take forever to help you. They make you wait the longest time on purpose. They need to fire everyone's ASS from that pharmacy and hire new decent technicians with experience in the customer service field, people with compassion. One-time they made me back up my car because the 1st window was for covid tests only. However, their sign is faded. which means people cannot read that says to go to window 2 for service because it is written by hand and the ink is coming off. (i took a picture of it) And instead of writing over the faded ink, or better yet, having one made professionally, they make people back up and go around after waiting a long time in window 1 to be helped.. When I went to the other window another person got in front of me and after waiting 25 minutes in window 1, I had to wait another 25 minutes because they helped the other person first. And they didn't even say I'm sorry. Unbelievable!! AND !! To top it all off, they DONT pick up their phones either. I've waited over 40 minutes on the phone for help; and sometimes they even hang up on you after waiting almost an hour. DISASTER! read more

Worst pharmacy ever!!! Waited 40 minutes for them to play on the computer to access the insurance information they had for the last 6 months. Then I told pharmacist I would just pay regular price I didn't care at this point anymore he took a phone call and another Customer who just showed up at the drive thru. The pharmacist had NO CLUE what he was doing and it took the CVS manager to guide him . 1 hour later and paying full price with having insurance I finally left!! I'd give it negative stars if I could. The employees here couldn't be more indifferent and unhelpful. I've been in the CVS loyalty program for years with no issues. They'd emailed me a 40 percent off one item coupon that expires tomorrow. When I tried to redeem it at this location, not only Would they not honor it, they said they had no record of me being a customer. There was zero attempt to rectify the situation. None. Zilch. Retailers/stores complain they lose business to online shopping...If they trained their staff customer service skills and basic common sense, things would be a lot different. I've only just transferred my prescription here today since my insurance will no longer accept Walgreens and it's already been a nightmare. Multiple times on hold for 30 minutes only to be disconnected. Call the front counter instead to tell them that I've been on hold multiple times to no avail only for them to just blindly transfer me back to the pharmacy. Walgreens sent over the prescription immediately but I never got any notification from CVS that they had received it, tried to refill it, and that there was an error with it. Taking a look at Yelp! reviews other CVS pharmacies in my area don't seem to be any better, and this is literally the only one in my area that's even open on Sunday. read more

I'm surprised to see that this store even has two stars on average. Wish I could could give less than one. Trust me, one isn't even deserved. We bought gift certificates last Christmas, gift certificates that this stores' "WELL TRAINED" employee failed to activate. We have spent the last two weeks chasing down receipts and credit card statements and copies of all the cards since they were for relatives in a different state, since we had been informed by the idiotic store manager that he couldn't help us until we tracked down. Mildly Understandable, though he really should work on his problem solving skills. Finally gathered all info and went in today full expecting fully for him to be able to rectify the problem, NO SUCH LUCK. No offer of help whatsoever. Said we had to go to corporate, who we have talked to several times over the past few weeks and all who's customer service reps directed us back to the store for help. He refused to even CALL corporate while I was there or even attempt to put forth any effort to fix his employees' mistake. The kicker is that "supposedly" he is an area trainer for other stores which I take to mean that anyone else who has this problem arise in the surrounding stores will run into the same rude, belligerent ignorance that I was met with today. I was, however given the opportunity to let him know that his trash strewn parking lot and entrance are a total eye soar, and I'm guessing he won't be instilling any urgency into his "trainees" to keep their store fronts clean either, since he doesn't practice it himself. And this wasn't just today that trash was piling up, it's every time we go in. So South Florida will continue to look like a trash dump thanks to this kind of oblivion as to how bad curb appeal turns the public off. read more

Used this CVS pharmacy for the 1st and last time.. they told me my insurance didn't cover my prescription when in fact it did cover it, just at a 90 day supply versus a 30 day supply. They wouldn't accept my GoodRX coupon for a discount on the prescription drug and insisted it wasn't good for this prescription, though it had a coupon and discount price plus was for CVS. In the end I payed $18.99 for a prescription I should of got for $1.56 from my CVS/Caremark insurance. Pharmacist too busy to help, cashier couldn't fix it. This store just pushes you out the door and doesn't provide a pharmacy service. Go elsewhere read more

If you could give this CVS less than 1 star I would. Doesn't matter what time of day they leave you in the drive thru forever and do not acknowledge you are there. Many times I am the only car iN the drive thru and I can see there is no one at the counter and they leave you there for 5 to 10 minutes. At east acknowledge I am there. read more

Crappy service. I've been to this CVS multiple times because it's the closest to my home. Don't order photos from here. You'll be standing at the counter for 30 minutes before someone helps you while the manager sees you standing there not being helped and keeps walking by. The last time I was here the cashier had no one in line and looked right at me and then continued to stand there and not acknowledge that I was obviously standing at the counter waiting for assistance. I'm a manager and this type of customer service is ridiculous. I thought it was only a one time experience but nope, it's just how they train their associates, or lack thereof I suppose. Just relocated from Illinois, and had all my prescriptions from Walgreens up north transferred. Pharmacy staff excellent, professional, and expedient. I was nervous about changing corporate pharmacies after 20+ years, but am happy I did. Besides, our new insurance gave us a CVS pharmacy card so I should save money as well. In purchasing other products throughout the store, I was assisted by a couple different managers. Also the cashier on duty signed me up for the CVS preferred card, and was very helpful and pleasant. read more

I almost don't want to write this because the person you had working tonight is obviously trying to get fired. I went in to get printer ink and sunscreen. I had a 25% off la roche posay coupon from a cvs receipt. The cashier Ariel #1176613 said the coupon for la roche didn't go through. I asked her if she could get a manager for help and she immediately got loud with me saying "I AM THE MANAGER." I pointed out that it is a valid coupon for the exact item I was purchasing. She let me know that this was "Not her problem." Again, in an extremely rude tone. Anything I asked she kept saying "Not my problem." I've never dealt with someone so rude in my life. It would be one thing to say "I'm sorry the coupon isn't working and there is nothing I can do about it" but the way she handled it was absurd. I do a lot of business at CVS but will go out of my way to avoid this store from now on. Also, I was able to visit the CVS on Sample and Andrews and got the exact same item and the coupon went through with no problem....so I think this probably was her problem....and I'm sorry management, but she is your problem too and makes the store look bad. Awful experience. Side note the other associate in the store who helped me unlock the printer ink was extremely friendly and helpful. Consider making her the manager and firing Ariel. read more

my cvs pharmacy at Rivertown on federal in dfd ( which was great--they knew my name -so very nice, like an old time pharmacy -wasn't just a name) they closed and transfered me here this pharmacy is just too crazy busy- always a line. tried drive in- the technician saw me and I watched her leave the area, finally honked. pharmacist and tech apologized- called to check on rx --- hung up after 15 min ( showed on phone)waiting for someone to answer. filled rxs are falling out of bins they do not have enough help--only one pharmacist most of the time the technicians try their best and for the most part very nice--despite the the hectic pace ----hope nothing bad happens because of the demands. This CVS Pharmacy was extremely incompetent. The drive thru wait with 4 cars was 1 hour. I went for a simple drive through Covid test with an Appointment and waited an hour and 30 mins to get to the window. Then once at the window they couldn't get the printer to work for another 30 minutes. Then Ericka asked me to move out of the line to other people could go even as she took other people while I waited. They said they would call me when they can get the problem fixed I waited another 30 minutes and he never called I had to walk in and speak to a manager. When the manager went to ask them what is going on and he touched the printer my paperwork printed and everything was fine and I could go now. These ladies just didn't want to be bother with me and so they pushed me on and ignored me would've never ever reached back out to me if I didn't walk into that CVS with potentially having Covid which I'm not supposed to do but they gave me no choice.
