I was at the 6191 North Keystone location today to buy Advil Cold and Sinus. They opened the gates to the pharmacy exactly at 9am but the registers werent on or working yet. I waited ten minutes. They never acknowledged me or explained to me why there was a wait. Finally she asked me what I needed. The drive up register was working so she took my id for the medicine and then the pharmacist told her she couldnt ring it up on that one. I asked how much longer and he flippantly said 5-10 more minutes. I asked if I could take it up front because I was heading to work. He said no. The staff wasnt apologetic or seemed to be bothered so I left to try Meijer down the street. That's when I realized your staff still had my id. I came back to the store and overheard the pharmacist say "awe oh- he's back." I asked calmly for my id and she asked if I wanted to buy the medicine to which I replied, "God no." The pharmacist told me not to be disrespectful and I replied they were all very disrespectful of me and my time l. He smarted off something unintelligible as I walked away to which I replied, "just do your job." I own a business. We open at 10am. Im there everyday at 9:30am to ensure we are ready to serve our guests. It's super easy. Try it. Do better.

I made my appointment online and arrived on time with no wait and was able to check in at the pharmacy and obtain my booster shot with no problem. I went ahead and picked up a few necessities while I was in the store, and when I went to check out, it was busy at the cashier. An employee came up to the front and open up a register to check me out and was very kind and professional. He displayed excellent customer service. This Walgreens was very helpful and very customer service oriented and I was impressed with the organization and professionalism. I would definitely come back to this location if I am in the area. One was over the lunch break which I completely understand missing. So we'll say 2 times they could and should have answered the phones. Finally left a voicemail telling them the customer service was very poor and that I was going to be arriving to their location in about half and hour and I needed to know if the prescription was going to be filled or not. I had just received a text message stating they were out of stock, but they had previously notified my wife the prescription was filled. CVS called me back, yelled at me over the phone and then hung up when I asked why I wasn't receiving more thorough communication. I was able to get a 15 day supply when I arrived but was told my account would be closed and I could no longer use CVS. I spoke with a corporate number who confirmed my account was closed but I could continue to use CVS. Just wanted a little bit of kindness and respect from the ladies behind the counter. It's air conditioned which is a major plus and it feels so good! It opened in 1966 and as of August 2021 they've had 3 million visitors come through the doors! The inside is floor to ceiling with natural wood and takes you back in time. They have a lot of information about drugs they used backs then and it's a great way to learn and cool off at the same time. They just announced that this year for the 2022 Taste of the State Fair they will be offering a iced mocha coffee float! Sounds good! I always get one of those long licorice ropes and one of the great ice cream floats anytime I've been there. They sell New York egg creams which doesn't have eggs in them at all. This place…read moreis usually super busy, I have never waited less than a couple people in front of me, but the pharmacists and techs could not be more patient or helpful. Typically at less one person in front of me is in a rush or has an issue with something or frankly an attitude with the techs. Every time I have come, they have acted with patience and kindness and took all the time needed to make sure people understand the issues they may be having or the delay in their medications. And they always apologize to me if there has been a delay in my wait yime. Could not have better things to say about this location!

This is a free-standing location in the traditional CVS design with appropriate accessible parking spots, curb cuts, and automatic doors. So, in terms of accessibility it generally does well. Like most CVS locations, this has both attended registers and self-serve registers. In most cases, I tend to be going to CVS for simple items and it's nice to have the option of a quick self-checkout. This CVS has a pharmacy, of course, but I would note it tends to have slightly shorter hours than the store itself. They also close from 1:30-2 daily for lunch. The pharmacy offers 15+ vaccines and you can schedule online or simply walk-in. The pharmacy does have a drive-thru. This CVS has in-store pick-up and serves as a UPS access point. They also accept SNAP and have an ATM inside. I will admit that I was a big fan of the previous manager, however, he got the opportunity to go to a downtown location and took it. However, this location still does fine for the most part. This is a solid mid-range experience for me. The employees are perfectly helpful, however, I'm not sure I'd call them genuinely friendly. I've not dealt with the pharmacy here other than for simple questions. The prices here definitely feel a bit high with a general approach of a limited selection in a variety of areas. They do have pretty decent sales and their rewards program offers discounts on a regular basis. This is a really interesting corner. The Walgreen's that used to be across the street bit the dust and is now a Dollar Tree. This corner also has a Dollar General, a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market, and this CVS. CVS is very much the one I choose when I need health-related items with a nice selection of OTC meds, first aid supplies, and vitamins. Have you ever had a place that was just sort of "meh?" That's this CVS (though it's MUCH better than the one at 38th and Emerson. It's not good. It's not bad. It's CVS. If you need it, it's here and sometimes that's good enough.

First bad experience they didn't have enough of a medication to fill my whole order and gave me 10 pills with the assurance that I would get a call when the rest was available. Over a week later I called them and they told me that the script had been filled but then thrown out as it wasn't picked up. I reminded them that they said they would call me and the pharmacist told me they don't call customers. That exact moment another person working there was on a headset and said into it " hello Mr _______. This is Walgreens calling you to let you know your prescription is ready" Like...right in front of me while the other guy is saying they don't call people. Then...another script, i called numerous times and they said there was something about the insurance and they would look into it and call me back. 2 days later I again called THEM and they lied to me saying someone called and left a message saying the insurance required mail order and they can't/won't help me further. No calls and no messages no voicemails came to my phone from them so that wasn't true. So...I called my insurance. They said they don't require mail order and told me they would look into local preferred pharmacies they use and guess who they came up with first!? This very walgreens. When i told them that walgreens told me you told them they can't fill this script the agent said there is no way that is true as thier clients use that pharmacy often and there was nothing about mine that would make anyone tell them it had to be mail ordered. So they lied about calling and lied about why they wouldn't fill the script. So they lied numerous times to me, refuse to be helpful and have lost my business and anyone else I can tell about it. These are important mental health drugs that i need and have now gone 2 weeks without because of them givung me the runaround and lying. They shouldn't be allowed to be in business.
