the staff and their technology/records access messed up 4 times in 2 days. the last straw was, when they could not access my insurance info that CVS has used for years & all over the US, they reentered and totally screwed that up. I now have to find a competent CVS pharmacy to clear and fix and confirm my records. VERY FRUSTRATING. read more

Extremely disappointed with the pharmacy service at this CVS (3630 CENTRAL AVE., HOT SPRINGS, AR 71913). When I asked a simple question about whether my prescription was ready, the pharmacy tech was rude, dismissive, and acted like I was an inconvenience. There's no excuse for that kind of attitude toward customers--especially in a pharmacy setting where people depend on timely, respectful care. I understand pharmacies can be busy, but respectful communication should always be a priority, especially when dealing with patients who depend on their medications. I hope management addresses this so future customers are treated with more professionalism. read more

NEGATIVE MINUS- The pharmacist Mosses, was very rude and unprofessional he started screaming at us, while we were asking for help to get a prescription transfer from another State. The other worker was no help at all either. When we asked for help the worker walked over her computer and just handed a paper to us without explaining anything, she walked away stood in front of her computer and ignored us the whole time completely. This the 3rd time they do this. I wonder if is racial discrimination because they always giving us the same treatment,(it sure feels like that). Issue was not resolved at all and I'm very disappointed about their poor quality service. read more

It's no wonder why this CVS in Hot Springs has such low ratings. I tried to reach the pharmacy through numerous phone calls that stretched over a period of almost an hour. To no avail, I finally got a person to answer on the general option. Explaining to her was like talking to a recording again. She couldn't have cared less what difficulty I had and how long I had tried to get someone to answer in the pharmacy area. All she said was, "I can transfer your call to the pharmacy." Wow, that was a lot of help!! Anyways, you want to get someone to answer, then hit the option that says you're a physician. Pharmacist picked up on the second ring. No apologies, didn't care how long I had been trying to call and speak with someone. I wouldn't rate this store a "1". Very unsatisfactory in my opinion. read more

This CVS has been a major headache. I have had the same prescriptions for years being filled at a different CVS location and never had even one problem. Moved and have been using this one (it's the only CVS is Hot Springs). With simple refills there's always some problem and I have to fight with them to get it sorted. You can tell the people on the other line don't listen to what you're saying and don't care. Twice I have also driven over after getting the notification (all) my proscriptions were ready, to get there and one wasn't filled. Rather than just refill it while you're there they tell you they need 2 hours minimum to fill it (even after showing the notification that all we're supposed to be ready). I live 20 minutes away so I ended up wasting 40 minutes each time this happened. Just really bad service. After years with CVS I'm switching to a different pharmacy. read more

UPS redirected a package to this CVS after waiting exactly 2.5 seconds at our front door (recorded on Ring camera). My wife tried to pick up the package from Brenda at this CVS... Brenda basically accused my wife of trying to steal this package... even though we have the same last name on her DL, Brenda insisted the UPS sticker likely blew off the door, then apparently she assumed we were trying to steal the package... on camera, inside a CVS... yeah I'm sure there are actually people who find UPS stickers on front doors, then take them, but only wait to try and steal them when their name exactly matches the delivery recipient. read more

If I could I would give this store a negative rating. While visiting town I needed to go to Urgent Care about a sinus infection that would not clear. The Dr. Ordered an antibiotic and a decongestant. The antibiotic was filled quickly. But after 6 days, still no decongestant. Due to AR law , I couldn't purchase OTC decongestant. After visiting the store, talking to the Pharmacist and getting the run around I phoned Little Rock to see about getting it there. Suddenly the prescription was being filled in Hot Springs. They insist the reason no trash cans outside or inside the store is to protect the privacy of people who throw out receipts. And, the store generates miles of coupons by printing them for the customer... I think they just don't want to deal with changing trash bags. I've seen trash bins outside CVS elsewhere and based on that I'm going to say this is not the company policy. It's a policy implemented at the Hot Springs store because they don't want their customers to be able to throw something, anything, away. Hey, you are not using my trash bins! Back to Walgreens where they want me there enough to provide a place to throw away that bottle rolling around in my car. read more

My insurance requires that I go through CVS pharmacy. However, for over a year now, I have been having issues getting my husband's prescriptions refilled. This isn't a one time thing. It is every single time he has to refill a script. The pharmacy says that when he runs out of refills, they will contact his Dr. office and get the ok to refill it. They never do, or they say they do but never heard back. When he calls his Dr to confirm. They either never got anything from CVS or they did and gave the ok back, but CVS still doesn't fill it. We have been seeing the same Dr. for years and have never had this problem until we had to switch to CVS. It's like they don't even care that these are important meds (BP, diabetic meds) that he needs in order to not end up in the hospital. We tried switching to Walgreens, but they said the insurance would only pay for them through CVS because it is the preferred pharmacy. This is the only CVS location within 30 miles of here so we have one option, and they just won't do their job! I requested a prescription be canceled so I could have it filled by another pharmacy. The pharmacy is a company pharmacy that delivers to my clinic in the village but has to have the other prescription canceled first before sending. CVS told me they canceled the prescription and I assumed I would be getting my thyroid medicine today. Well, they didn't and now it will be Monday before the other pharmacy can deliver.
