I was looking for Christmas clearance and didn't purchase any, but surprisingly I found a lot of clearance liquor here. It was on the shelves randomly and not in one place. Most of what I bought had tags that were marked 80% off. Some items were locked and I only got one thing that was, $1.19 Sweet Vermouth. Wine I got was $1.59 for Beringer pinot grigio and $2.99 Mark West chardonnay. I got two 4 packs, Absolut mango mule $2.99 and Cazadores margarita $3.99. My favorite purchase was $2.79 for Tanqueray Negroni 375 mL. I wanted to check out with Self checkout and an employee walking by assisted after I waited a while for someone to set the scanner so I could do that. I've had problems checking out at this store before, and I needed a cart to take my purchases to the car. The carts in the store don't go outside so an employee got me a cart I could take outside from behind the register. The deals I got were great but waiting to check out was a pain. read more

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. The woman at the front was rude, careless, and completely unprofessional. She didn't say hello, didn't look at me while speaking, and was too busy playing on her phone to even acknowledge I was standing there. I came in for a return and told her I wasn't sure which card I used. Instead of trying to help or offering the option to return with ID, which is part of CVS policy, she just refused and gave attitude like I was wasting her time. She kept walking away in the middle of our conversation without a word -- not once, but three times -- and helped other customers like I wasn't even there. I even had to help another customer near the self-checkout while she ignored him too. That's how bad her service was. She clearly does not want to be there, and it shows in the way she treats people -- like they're a burden. I felt disrespected and mistreated, and no one should feel that way in any store. CVS should be ashamed to have someone like this representing their business. Management needs to take action and retrain staff on basic respect, customer care, and professionalism. read more

She provided 5-star service... being patient, informative and understanding. Ms. AnnaMarie (AnnMarie) took the time to explain that several of our prescriptions were not covered by insurance... one of which was in excess of $200.00 and definitely necessary for treatment. She took the initiative to check if the GoodRx price would be better priced. Ms. AnnaMarie's (AnnMarie) action resulted in the price of said Rx being $76.10 and $104.39 for the entire purchase of 5 prescriptions. I had been going to this pharmacy for years. Then Iost my job and my health insurance. The pharmacist then said I could not buy and pay for my meds myself. COMPLETELY ILLEGAL I have now come to find out. I went to the Southern Nevada Legal Aide Center and spoke with Legal Proffessors at UNLV Boyd Law School. The law does not say that one must have health insurance nor does it say a pharmasist has the right to deny your doctors prescription based on your form of payment or lack of health insurance. We are now filing to sue because my health, finances and ability to work has deteriorated to the point of bankruptcy. SHAME ON YOU CVS read more

So tired of going into any CVS! The customer service associates are always rude! At this location I went to the front with a question. I was told by an employee "Self check-out is over there!" Then they walked away without even checking what I needed. On another visit, I was depositing money to my online bank using their GreenDot service. I asked Rosa a question after my transaction. She answered, but I asked her to clarify. She clearly did not care, got rude, and began apologizing to the customer behind me as if I was the problem. If these people were be paid a decent wage, they might care about their jobs. The idea of going to an in-store retailer and receiving good customer service might become normal again. Until then, I hope Amazon, Walmart and the others put you out of business. At least I will be able to do my shopping without being treated like garbage. read more

This CVS is potentially 5 stars as it has a lot going for it. #1 It is located on the edge of a humongous over 55 retirement community. Think about it, 'Medicare'. Every customer is on 'statin meds' and 'BP meds' if not a lot more pills. They need glucose monitors, covid vaccines + more, BP machines...all that stuff. This should be one of the most profitable CVS stores in the world. #2 So when customers come in for their Medicare needs they buy all the miscellaneous items that they need. #3 the pharmacy is 5 stars in service and customer service. The pharmacy should be separated out. This review is for the 'CVS Store' part. Problems: When we first started at this store there was an older nice cashier lady that made all the customers feel welcome. She took the time to get everyone signed up for the savings programs and explained how it all worked. Over time she has disappeared and new non-caring cashier staff was added. Then it was noted that there were several attempts to get customers to use the 'self-checkout' stations. Each and every effort appeared to fail because the 'machines' hung up on almost every transaction. Now that all the regulars know that self-checkout is bogus....long lines form at the one and only real cash register. But that is often manned by the most unfriendly 'new employees'. When things really 'screw up' the #2 and eventually #3 managers are forced to come out of hiding. No smiles, no 'sorry for waiting', or any response that could be called customer service. A store like this needs at least two full-time cashiers with big smiles and helpful attitudes. The 5 star pharmacy has been forced to cut it's hours. They are not open in the AM when the store opens. I'll move my prescriptions down to the Eastern location which is just down the street. I've had it after waiting at a 'locked up' self-checkout stand for 15 minutes because of an 'age restricted' item. today. The #2 and #3 CVS staff forced the newbie to come over and help me instead of doing it themselves. I'm done. Peace-Out... Please read my reviews. I almost never write anything negative. The older black lady who works as a cashier loves to profile people who come in here. She must not realize the neighborhood that we're in. Asked her today to remove 4 items for me. Let me preface with the store is never crazy busy she was working with one customer and when I pushed the button to request help I was honestly waiting for the other cashier. He had walked away so no big deal I can wait since there was NOBODY behind me waiting.. anyway she said "be right there" so I assumed she would finish up with the customer and come over. Well she did and couldn't have had more of an attitude. As if I had 20 items needing to be taken off. Again only 4!!! She started taking the items off and when she got to the last one she decided to just void my whole purchase after ALREADY voiding 3 and picked up the bag and threw it back into the basket and said here you can rescan and walked away. But made sure to be nice to the man she was helping and said sorry about that. I never once was throwing a fit or rushed her over. She is the one that decided to leave and not finish what she started to come over and be so nasty. This is how the second time I have dealt with her and the attitude. What is going on with CVS pharmacy??? Before I get into my question/rant, let me say that I have had nothing but fantastic experiences with the staff at the Anthem Village location. They are always busy and are working their hearts out. But they can only do so much. A week or so ago, I received a text message from the pharmacy asking if I wanted my medication set-up on an auto-refill program. I declined their offer. When it came time to refill some of my prescriptions, I found that I had been enrolled (against my wishes) in auto-refill. Neither the app nor their website will allow the patient to opt out. Both instructed me to phone the overloaded pharmacy. BTW, the pharmacist confirmed that this is a new corporate initiative... only the pharmacist can take someone off the auto-renewal program. The thing is that I happen to know more about my actual drug needs than some corporate pencil pusher. Bottom line is that I was successfully removed from the program. My doctor is in the process of adjusting some of my meds to minimize the side effects. (The main reason I didn't want auto-renew). I delivered my new prescriptions to the pharmacy and checked the app the next day to see if the new order was ready. New problem: They filled it for a 90 day supply. I phoned the pharmacy and was told they would make the change, but I needed to come in personally to pick it up. When I got there, I found that both prescriptions contained a 90 day supply. (Including an old one that I've been getting each month for nearly 2 years). I explained that my physician is still making adjustments to my prescriptions but the pharmacist was unable to override the computer. He said that I could either accept a 90 day supply, or not take the drugs. It makes me wonder what CVS corporate is trying to do. Sounds like they are trying to streamline their business. If they are trying to weed-out the less profitable accounts, then I'll happily take my business somewhere slightly less convenient. read more

This pharmacy closed early without any notice. 8pm vs the posted 10pm. They started working on my prescription and then closed. Due to them starting my order I can't move it elsewhere. I'm miserably sick. There is no consideration anymore. Can Walgreens please move into this neighborhood?! I cannot deal with CVS any more! I hate it here. read more

The store is super convenient and the retail is great. However, I am afraid the Pharmacy is not up to any reasonable standard of service. After reading other reviews the level of service I received is the norm. I have just one example. They wanted my updated insurance and sent me a text to call. I called and went on hold for 10 minutes. So I started driving to give them the information requested. I was still on hold when I got in line. I was put on speaker phone without anyone answering the phone. Then while just 10 feet away the Pharmacist hung up on me. Gave them the information but they don't have time to verify and pick up prescription. Gave them my phone number to call when there is time to take care of my needs. I will be waiting read more

I would like to start by saying that I have been a customer here for a few years now. I am a recent transplant recipient with an immunocompromised system in addition to trying to stay safe during covid. I have had absolutely great experience with Wayne and Nick and a few other people in the pharmacy. Today I spoke to Mallory over the phone and asked her if she can check how much discount I can get on a medication that I had to pay a 880 dollar copay for. I explained to her that I had a transplant and would appreciate if she could help me over the phone. She stated she could not and that I would have to come in. I asked why and she stated because it's too many numbers on the card which she didnt even know at this point which card I was referring to.. Really? First of all there are not too many numbers on the Novartis discount card and secondly this was a simple task that could have been handled in a minute or two and not cause me to put my health/life at risk. I have to give five stars for the ladies who worked in the photo department on the evening of Friday November 15th. I had ordered an online picture 8×10 photo mounted of my boyfriend with his kids and I wanted to surprise them for his birthday. I received an email that said that I could pick it up anytime and that it was ready. Upon driving to the store no one could find it. I was a little nervous because I only had 15 minutes to get back home with the gift to surprise him with. I relayed this to the ladies in the photo department and they moved quickly to make sure that I could have it in time for his arrival. One of the ladies asked me if I had the picture in my phone camera which I did. She really acted quickly, Bluetoothed it to her machine printed it out and applied it to the photo block. Within 5 minutes I was out the door and on the way home. I made it on time to surprise him which made me extremely happy. I just wanted to thank these two ladies because they really hustled to make this happen. read more

I got racially profiled and discriminated against this morning and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I've used self checkout to make my purchases, and I can assure I wasn't the only one using the SCO this morning. I wasn't going to put 12 mega roll toilet papers into a plastic bag. The cashier"Rosa" started running after me and yelled "You can't steal that! You can't take that!" And I politely told her "I paid for my items" and she kept yelling "You can't steal that!" I even showed her the receipt and stated I paid, and she's like "Where!? You can't steal that." And afterwards I told her to look into the receipt, and she stated afterwards "Well I didn't see you pay, so, okay sorry, make sure you pay next time." And walked away. So unprofessional and so ignorant. Please make sure this doesn't happen to anyone else. read more

The pharmacy NEVER has my medications ready, even 5 HOURS after the dr orders the prescriptions. I don't think I'm the only one since the drive up line takes at least 15 minutes per car. If you're using this pharmacy, your best bet is to go straight from your appointment and ask for it. Then when they don't have it, tell them you'll be back in 15 minutes and come back later on in the day. read more

I really hate to write a negative review but in this case I felt I just needed to this is literally one of the worst CVS I have ever been to and it's really sad because it's in such a great location. Every single time I come to the CVS all the shelves are empty or in disarray, half of the stuff doesn't even have price tags on it and not to mention then if I actually do find something I want to buy (meaning they actually had it in stock) I have to check out with a grumpy old man employee who needs to have a little more patience with people, I've experienced rudeness several different times but I'm not here to bash anyone. But I almost wish I worked there just so I could go in there and clean the store up a bit maybe put some price tags on things, maybe restock the shelves, organize it, clean it up a little bit? One of the most unprofessional pharmacies I have ever encountered. This pharmacy is disorganized, employees are rude, and in dire need of customer service training. Daily I receive multiple notifications for prescriptions that either are too early to refill or are never ready as promised. I called in a refill 6 days ago amd was told it would be ready the next day. When I went in to pick it up there was no rx ready and no record of the refill requested. Today I called in to see if a prescription was ready to pick up. A script that the doctor called in 3 days ago! I was told that it was not ready and still being worked on. No apologies or explanations were given. When I asked for an eta the tech hung up on me. In my profession, I work with hundreds of retail pharmacies across the country every day and this one by far is the worst! All my business is going else where! read more

This is my favorite CVS. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful. The manager works hard at her job. Every time I go there, she's working. I know that sounds funny but seriously, she works hard to keep her store clean and in check. :) Recently she helped me with a return so that I could use my Extra Bucks coupons. I bought the items at another location but the clerk didn't return my items. He just told me they'd honor my coupons at a later time even though they were expiring. I LOVE the pharmacy dept. Mary, one of the pharmacists, is awesome. Friendly and efficient. She too, is always working hard. But she will always stop and greet me by name. The pharmacy staff is friendly! Love my local CVS. Just received my 1st of 2 coronavirus vaccine doses. I was very impressed by the medical personnel (Tamsin and Maribel). They were both excellent and competent. The entire procedure was absolutely flawless. They were also friendly and caring which was yet another plus. All in all it was a surprisingly positive experience. read more
