Literal LIFESAVERS! Erica is AMAZING! After a horrific experience at Walgreens pharmacy, I desperately walked across the street to CVS. I met with Erica who patiently listened to my concerns and immediately went to work solving the issue. She was patient and so empathetic while furiously making calls and checking stock for my wife's medications. In no time she has a solution and literally saved my wife from a serious health scare. While waiting there, I watched as she worked with many other customers and each time showed the same attention, care, and empathy, along with the entire team being wonderful with each person they interacted with. This review is specifically for Melissa and Hillary in the pharmacy. I was diving across the state to AZ and found myself having an asthma attack and forgot my inhaler at home. I pulled off the freeway to the nearest cvs and by the time I walked in my Dr was on the phone with Hillary and she ran the inhaler over to me. They both literally saved my life. Their quick actions and service got me breathing again. They were amazing!! It's not everyday you get good service, and theirs was GREAT!! read more

This pharmacy works very slowly, and is always out of stock. I have had a few experiences with this here, but today my son was prescribed medication from the ER and they were supposed to complete a transfer to a Walgreens that had it in stock since this CVS did not. What is usually a very quick process turned into the pharmacist at the Walgreens and I waiting 3hr to have the CVS transfer it over, which they never did. I had to contact the actual ER my son visited and have them send it over to the Walgreens instead. Pharmacy is the worst here! I don't mind waiting in line, but the staff in the pharmacy are the rudest! Not the one guy, he is nice, but the females give attitudes and roll their eyes. They have me ALWAYS pull around to the end of the line when getting my prescription. They will say 10 mins and then come back. Shoutout to Rita at the cashier counter! She was so sweet to me trying to help me out with all those damn coupons. Not only did she run through the new discount program I hadn't heard of before, but she knew how to work the deals sales and coupons to my advantage. I want to be fair but compared to other CVS pharmacies I have been to, this particular one seems to excel at being super inefficient. All of the staff got "the deer in the headlights look" down, and have no difficulty sustaining that look. My suggestion is to stay away. read more

Cannot discourage you enough of dealing with their pharmacy. Not only are they more out of stock of medicine than in stock, but don't notify you when the doctor prescribes you a medication and they don't have it for four months. By the way it was ONLY a blood thinner to help prevent a stroke. Then their tech tells me it can't be that important. Sadly used to get all my prescriptions once every three months. Now going 3-4 month to get stuff because they can't get their act together. Was just there yesterday and told my long lost prescription was ready. Then told it had been restocked. Wow according to today's text they have it back in stock. Have asked over and over again to be transferred. Won't do it. Will pay my damn co pay to have a coming of Jesus with my doctor to transfer or I change both of them. Btw the anticoagulant I haven't had in four months. I already had a stroke. Awful and Uncaring This pharmacy received my prescription by phone which was called in from the Redlands Community Hospital. When I called on Sunday afternoon to check the status, I was told that they did not have my prescription ready and they did not currently have this medication in the store. I was told that it would take 2 days for them to obtain this antibiotic. I wanted to request that they transfer my prescription to another CVS, but between the hours of 2:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. I could not reach them by phone. I finally got through at 6:00 p.m. and was immediately told that they were now closed, and call back at 8 o'clock the next day before being HUNG UP ON. I had a severe infection and missed my antibiotic dosage that night. In frustration I called the 24 hour Redlands mall CVS store to see if they could transfer my prescription as they did have the medication in their store. They then told me that the Grand Terrace CVS store had add 'deactivated' my prescription and I would have to call my doctor (the hospital) to have her call it and again I had this prescription called in to Rite Aide on Washington and Cooley and I will NEVER ... use the CVS pharmacy again! read more

RX attendant is lazy, condescending, I called for a diabetic med for my pt, she says, know ur meds before calling as if she owns Cvs. Pls evaluate her, her attitude doesn't belong to medication mgmt. Waited in line forever at the Pharmacy it gets to my turn in line and the gentleman Mitchell gives me the choice of self pay or coming in and putting me at the back of the line in order to process my insurance information. Just left cvs on mt Vernon- today is Sunday august 28th at 9:30 am- and there was one cashier(white girl) younger with blonde hair that was sitting talking to a friend while ALL the customers checked themselves out on self checkout because she was too busy complaining to her friend about other customers (loudly) - then when I get upto self checkout, she was blocking the credit debit one- She BLATANTLY!!! Looks up and down at me and laughs at my appearance, not sure why! But made me feel like I was the butt of their conversation as soon as I walked away. Don't know her, never met her or saw her in store before. But super rude, wasn't even doing her job and made the actual customers feel uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure CVS doesn't pay employees to sit around talking to friends who aren't customers talking about the actual customers trying to checkout. And now I get why my husband and family would rather go to Walgreens or Walmart. I spent 100$ this morning and seriously considering calling corporate because I don't think I'll be returning to that location or cvs for awhile. The store part should get 5 stars and the pharmacy should get 0! So a 3 it is! I go to this cvs every so often (since CVS is so expensive I normally stick to walmart), I have NEVER had an issue with any of the staff in the store. I guess thats probably cause I've never needed their assistance, but the store is clean and the manager is very nice so is the assistant manager! Now the pharmacy.... If they'd hire some competent employees that would be amazing. It took me 30 minutes just to DROP OFF my rx. The pharmacist was just really slow at entering in prescriptions. I'm not one of those customers who will tell an employee somewhere how to do their job.. but I'm a pharmacy technician so I KNOW for a FACT it's not that hard! Then it took another 45 minutes for 3 prescriptions. I understand I'm not the only patient.. but if I'm the only one waiting in the store ... fill it first. come on. They told me 25 minutes. I go up there after 30 minutes and the same slow pharmacist who typed in my RX says "oh.. i didn't know you were waiting.. i'll put it in front" WTF did you think i was sitting there in the store for? **face palm** . If you have the patience for slow pharmacists, pharmacists who are doing a technician job but have no idea how to do it, waiting forever and standing there forever just for them to type it in.. then great! go here. if not, theres a walgreens across the street. read more

This review specifically reflects the HORRIBLY INCOMPETENT staff that CVS Pharmacy in Grand Terrace employs - 12071 Mount Vernon Ave Grand Terrace, 92313. Despite their automatic refill system, my prescription is always late and INCORRECT; every month, for the past five months, I have gone to CVS Pharmacy to pick up my prescription only to find that they have packaged and prepared an incorrect prescription - a prescription that, has never been prescribed or one that has since changed. When I question the pharmacy staff, I always receive the same answer "Oh, I see in our NOTES that your prescription has changed. Unfortunately, we do not have the prescription that you need in stock and we will have to call it in which could take up to three business days." Month after month this has happened and I have been very kind and forgiving of the misunderstanding. Last month, CVS Pharmacy yet again gave me an INCORRECT PRESCRIPTION. If you can imagine, I have now become rather annoyed with the situation and I demand that they REVIEW their prescriptions before they refill them and supply me with the correct prescription immediately. Not to my surprise, they do not have my needed prescription in stock so they call around to other CVS locations in search of my desired prescription. They finally find another CVS Pharmacy (Redlands) which has my medication. (Oh the glory) The following month, (this month, 2/21/2014) I receive a phone call stating that my automatic refill is ready for pickup at the Redlands location. (Um, what?) I call CVS in Grand Terrace and kindly explain to them that I only picked up my prescription at the alternative Redlands location because their Grand Terrace location did not have the item in stock and I do not want my prescriptions transferred to a new pharmacy. Without an apology, the pharmacy employee told me that my prescription would be ready for pickup at the Grand Terrace location in a few hours. Fast forward a few hours, I'm at CVS Pharmacy in Grand Terrace trying to pick up my prescription and guess what?! I am given the WRONG PERCEPTION again!! It is now 02/24/2014 and I am still waiting on my prescription to be refilled. I am appalled! Your pharmacy service is DREADFUL! "Incompetent" is the only word to describe your staff! I went to this cvs and I will never go back Just make sure you count your money before you leave cause you may be short some money. The lady at the cashier shorted me $5 I left and notice so I went back and in front of her boss she said "I always count my money back I told her she did not that she just gave me a the change without count back" I told her she can check the camera cause she did not count it back I guess this lady needed the money more then me. And a lesson learned for me if it's not count back then count it before you leave or cvs/cashiers will take more money then you owe. Pharmacy is terrible. Absolutely incompetent. No communication between workers. Medications are rarely ready when promised. Information given to them is often forgotten and not recorded and they'll ask you for the same info multiple times. Checked on a scrip that was supposed to be ready and was told simply that it was out of stock. No resolution offered or timeframe given as to when stock was expected and this was a psychiatric medication. Many more incompetency issues that are too many to list here. To top this all off certain workers and even the pharmacist are rude and seem as though they're bothered by any questions you have. They act as though you're wasting their time. I've waited two years to give this review in hopes that they'd improve and I wouldn't have to write it but things actually seem to be getting worse there. I have a spinal cord tumor/chronic pain and was going out of town for 5 days and was in desperate need of a medication and my pharmacy didn't get it in as expected. My pharmacy told me that they would give my prescription back if I could find another pharmacy that had it. I began calling around and all the pharmacy's were very helpful in checking but they didn't have it. After about 5 other pharmacy's I called CVS they just told me it was their policy not to give that information out over the phone and I would have to go pick up my prescription and bring it into them to find out if they even had it in stock. If I could give 0 stars I would I've been going to cvs pharmacy since the pandemic has began and have always had an absolutely pleasant beyond pleasant experience UNTIL yesterday June 1st 2021 I had a covid app at 11 am at this store location with a women named ERICA GARZA. She is the most disrespectful inconsiderate most unhelpful person I've ever came across her attitude was like she just wanted to leave and not be working she was completely unhelpful on top of being unapologetically rude for her having a career to help others she does completely the opposite!!! When I showed up to my Covid appointment she said that I was too early and I needed to move to the side and wait so I did as I was told (mind you I don't have a phone only a computer I'm a bit old school ) so I always show up early to my appointments because I don't have a phone to check the time so when she told me I needed to wait and then get back in line was upsetting because I wouldn't be able to know the time exactly she doesn't put anyone's life into consideration she's very inconsiderate and I've always been helped right away never have I've been told that I have to go move to the side and wait so she could help others so as mentioned I do so as was told and estimated I was pretty close to my scheduled time by now one car was ahead of me and as I could over hear her on the microphone that the man in front of me was at 11:30 and mind you mine was at 11 . Most of my interaction with this store is with the pharmacy, but the few times I do go shopping for other things, they will have most of what you need. The true benefit of shopping here is to use the CVS app. I have the iPhone so I can't speak for other types of smartphones. This store integrate quite well with the app. You can keep your coupons and points all in the app and you can even pay with the app if you have a payment method attached to it. I've also used their drive through which is convenient when you don't want to walk in. You can also use the app to discreetly get your medications without having to say your name or date of birth, for all to hear. The only complaint I have is some of the workers don't know how to use the cvs gift card as a payment. read more

I shopped at CVS in Grand Terrace and experienced the most awful customer service I had in my entire life. I wanted to pay for one item separately from the other four items. Sales associate Tiffany told me that she could only do one transaction and then for the second sales transaction , I would have to go to the end of the line again. This has to be by far the worst pharmacy I have never dealt with. Nothing but incompetent people work in this department. Countless time I have ran in to problems with my medication and my husbands. Not only being promised that medication would be filled on time properly. Come time to pick it up, it's never ready. Even if we leave for hours on end to come back later in the day it is still not ready. Also, if you call it in days prior it's not even ready. We have also had issues with them lying to our faces about not having a prescription on file when we had called and talked to multiple people days prior in regards to that medication. I'm assuming they deleted it because they don't know how to handle new medications. We have also experienced some rude employees who work in the pharmacy. Coming from someone in the medical field I still will never understand why this cvs pharmacy can't get there shit together.
