If I could give zero stars I would. Went to pick a prescription at the CVS at 2639 Main Street in Glastonbury, CT. First of all they now have computer kiosks in front of each prescription pick up area. Well, I did not have my glasses and there is no way for me to complete this task that a pharmacy technician should be completing. I mentioned this to several of the techs behind the counter and all of a sudden I hear her screaming to the other technicians that he needs personal help because he does not have his glasses. Really? HIPPA violation?!?!?! This CVS used to be the best for prescriptions. Boy have things changed! I immediately changed the pharmacy I normally use so I don't have to deal with these totally disrespectful technicians. I am sure nothing will change here but sure as hell I won't be going back. Pharmacy asking to pay 20 dollars for my priscriptions, when i asked them i never used to pay earlier, they said to ask my insurance and were very rude i declined to pay and when i called my insurance, they said they never ran though my insurence. later when it ran $ 0 , nothing to pay, this happened twice. Please check with insurence, if you notice anything like that, they are lazy or a scam not sure. read more

The CVS survey was not working so I am typing my review here. I frequently use MinuteClinic for quick flu or strep tests. I find it very convenient when I can't get into the pediatrician. I went with my daughter today who ended up testing positive for influenza B. I was very disappointed a physical exam was not performed on my daughter. I am a nurse practitioner myself and this is a basic medical standard of care. It is also a required element of documentation in order to bill insurance. That means the provider will be falsely reporting physical exam findings today. Unacceptable. The 2 stars are for the nurse/medical assistant who worked quickly, efficiently, and was kind to my anxious daughter who hates having her throat swabbed. I will be communicating my concerns to CVS also. At the very least my daughter's ears, throat and chest should have been examined. Update: It has been virtually impossible to connect with a human at CVS. There are no email options I can see on the website. I've called directly and was placed on hold for several minutes. I had to give up after 20 minutes to get back to my work day. The only other option is snail mail. Taking my business elsewhere moving forward. read more

I don't know what has happened to the pharmacy. They used to be 24/7 and reliable. Now they have limited hours and never have things ready when they tell you they will be. Latest example is when I called yesterday morning about a refill. The woman I spoke to said it would be ready that night. Just went in over 24 hours later, and it's still not ready. They just "didn't get to it." Hopefully I'll be able to get it tonight. At least this isn't as bad as when they didn't fill an acute medication that needed to be started ASAP for over 8 hours (requiring 3 visits). The new store layout is nice and all, but I come to this location for the pharmacy. Please get that back in order. read more

One of the rudest nastiest people at the pharmacy location. I have witnessed they make you feel belittled and angry. They refuse to acknowledge an error on their part and do nothing. They will rudely place you on hold and never follow up. I have been waiting on a error for many days they refuse to do their part to fix the situation. When ask to speak to a supervisor they refuse to put a supervisor on the phone. A simple fix could be done but instead they want to argue and fight with you. It's just a chain drug store, I hear y'all. Part of the evil empire knocking out all the ma & pop stores left in America. Ok, got it, but I can't stay away! I give up. This location is always a shining star. The staff is helpful, the aisles are always clean, the specials are amazing. Pharmacists call me by name and I honestly don't need that many meds, lol. Layer your email coupons with manufacturer coupons and voila! You can get great deals if you're savvy. Get the app, join the beauty club, get on their email list and own a cvs card. Download the coupons right to your card. Nothing to forget at home. Ah, modernization can be a beautiful thing. Also, Take advantage of the coupon machines up front. I had walked Into CVS tonight looking for baking soda ... I went right to the baking isle didn't see it, so I went to cleaning isle , still didn't see it. Walked through several isles with no luck. Walked to the front to find help , no one was there & there was a line as the person at self check out was confused & couldn't find help (a customer figured it out) I was able to track down Kyle the manager & Asked where the baking soda was. He said the baking isle. I went back & looked... didn't see it. I went back & asked Kyle if he could assist me he did but with a huge attitude ( he sped to the isle) . He grabbed it & gave it to me. I knew I was going to most likely need more in the next few days so I said, " just so I don't have to bother you again can you show me where it was ?" He pointed that isle. I said " I know, as you came back with it. But I looked & for the life of me couldn't find it" he again pointed & didn't actually show me, then I saw him grabbing a product to move forward and realized that's where it was. Then I said Kyle is there a reason you have such an attitude he kept walking. I said who's your manager. he said "me". I said okay but who's your boss. Again he said "me". Then he said my boss never comes to this store. Super bad customer service. I totally understand all the bad reviews now. read more

This has to be the worst walk in clinic ever ! Went to the location for 9am and signed in. There was one person in the clinic getting a physical prior to my arrival. As I checked in, it noted a 78 minute wait time. I was flabbergasted! I asked the pharmacy if they knew if the time was accurate. They indicated that they do not know but I should wait until she is done with her current exam and then ask them. I waited an hour then looked up to notice that the time changed to 10 minutes. 5 minutes later, I looked up again to check again, still 10 minutes. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, totaling to 80 minutes waited, I was astounded by the poor wait time and left! Absolutely ridiculous ! There is no reason for any physical exam to take hours long! read more

It took multiple days for them to get my prescription available. When I explained I have been turned away multiple days they simply said "sorry, we have been having problems". I will never be coming back here as the employees don't seem to care about anything besides getting through their shift. No patience or sympathy for people dealing with medical conditions. I understand the system is messed up but their attempt at handling it is unacceptable. I only came here for convenience and it has turned into nothing but a nightmare. read more

YAY for the 24 hour Pharmacist! The drive through is also great. Stock inside is typical to all CVS Stores, so if you've seen 1 you've seen them all. I do really, really love the pharmacist being available 24 hours. It really cuts down on the rush with prescriptions and makes it easy to drop off/pick up around my schedule. read more

Yes, I like the 24 hour pharmacist. Yes, I like the look of the remodel they recently completed but in the words of Chandler Bing, "Could they BE any slower?!" Seriously. Thank god there's a pharmacist there 24 hours because it takes almost that long just to pick one up. The pharmacy techs are nice, and have been helpful in the past but I have better things to do that spend 20 minutes just trying to pick up a prescription. Otherwise in the store itself, I find it's a "shut up and take my wallet" kind of place. I always see something I want/need/don't really need but convince myself I need it, and those darned coupon thingys at the front door that spit out my coupons make me feel like I won the lottery after I scan my card. I go in here to pick up my prescription and 30 minutes later also leave with candy, skin cream, batteries and who knows what else. It's a little more expensive than other drug stores but if you go there frequently and get their coupons you can save a ton. read more

Always an issue at this CVS Pharmacy! Way understaffed for the volume of scripts to fill. Last script I had filled, when I went to go pick it up 7 hours later, was of course told it was not ready and that they were about 4 days behind (yes you read that right, 4 days behind). She said she would expedite it and would have it ready in 20 minutes. When I finally got it, this was a prepackaged liquid medication that just had to be grabbed off a shelf. Unbelievable! It's just issue after issue here. Hire more staff!!! read more

Too many customers and not enough staff on the registers or the pharmacy. Have had days the pharmacy was so busy I couldn't through on the phone. I have had several medical providers indicate dissatisfaction with that location. Call the manager. Good luck. Get an answering machine and never a call back. I made an appointment at the Minute Clinic on a busy Saturday this month to get a flu shot, but I lost track of the time and missed it. They called me and let me come in within the hour. The nurse who gave me the shot was Lasaundra and she was absolutely lovely. She was kind, patient and friendly--my little niece loved her. You're lucky to have such a professional and personable nurse on staff. Thank you!! read more

I was so sick and scheduled an appointment so I could walk right in or at least within 15 minutes or so. Nope. The nurse was so rude she was taking people that did not have an appt. what is the purpose of having appt if you don't honor them. I have been to this place on numerous occasions for their minute clinic. Sometimes service is seriously slow. Occasionally if you go within 2-3 hours of opening it's decently fast. They come in late so don't get here when they open or else you'll be waiting for a long time. The last time I came here they saw someone else before me even tho I was on the wait list for over an hour and the man had just arrived. Candace is very rude. read more

This CVS location is one of the largest I've visited. They have plenty of product options to browse. It's clean and pretty tidy. I only wish there were more employees helping at the checkout. I am a Registered Nurse. Several weeks ago I, and several of my family members, requested a Flu Vaccination from CVS pharmacy on Main St in Glastonbury Ct. we have Athem health insurance which will cover the cost. I was told the pharmacy did not have the vaccination available but we were welcome to have it administered by the Minute Clinic on premises which did have it available. I inquired if this would be considered a medical visit, incurring a charge to my insurance company and copay to me. I was told "yes". I chose to wait for another shipment to arrive. The following day I was told by several CVS pharmacies in the area they would no longer be supplying the vaccination. Other pharmacies continue to receive and offer the vaccination. In light of the severity of the flu epidemic, or even so, why would CVS take this stand. Answers are needed and not lame ones. I sent this information to a local news station but no return. So, on my behalf, I would like to inform the public. I was told I could only obtain my prescriptions through CVH because of my health insurance plan. read more

STAY AWAY FORM THIS CVS!!! Unless you want poor customer service and like waiting a long time. This store is under staffed for the business they have, and you the customer will pay for that. ON 3 separate almost concurrent occasions they "did not receive" my drs prescription forcing me to call the doctor and return to the store. Doc said of course "I called (faxed) it in, they (CVS Main St) have the same issue all the time" . This means repeated phone calls and returns for me. Store pharmacy manager "Ryan" is to young to understand what customer service is or means. Do yourself a favor and go to Walgreens. read more

Pharmacy staff is frazzled, distracted, and generally rude. The Minute Clinic will ignore you - they'll literally close the door in your face - even if you sign up according to their posted sign-in rules. It's near impossible to find anything on the shelves since the store redesign, and only rarely does anyone offer to help. The clerks bark at you to show them your CVS card before you even get a chance to set your items down on the counter. There are a small handful of very friendly people on the overnight shift. read more
