Finholm's has a lot of history in this neighborhood and there is a nearby sign where you can read up on some of it. Inside the store I wouldn't exactly call it a full fledged supermarket but there are plenty of snacky items and the beer selection is great! There are a lot of brands of beer that aren't commonly seen in the area so if you are into craft beer there is a lot to check out! But not only that they have beers on tap that you can enjoy as well and hang out there! There is a place that serves food inside. It's a waffle shop in which you can get sweet or savory waffles. That place has it's own Yelp entry and I will write a review for that in the near future. But definitely check out Finholm's and read up on it's history... it's pretty interesting!

You have to go inside and give the person behind the counter your pump and rewards number, then a prepay gas amount. They only charge you for your gas pumped. It's kind of a pain, but it's worth it for $1/gallon savings. Gas station was clean and staff friendly. They have a nice variety of snacks and even have a sub sandwich shop inside. We moved to Burley last year, and the Burley Store has been a good friend more than a few times - filling in for needed staples when a trip to "the city" (Port Orchard, 7 miles North). They stock all the "usual stuff" with a small packaged meat / dairy section, pre-made sandwiches, and of course all the beer and wine selections you'd expect. Service has always been very nice and they welcome all - not just "locals" As Burley locals, we have the Burley Store, the Olalla Store, and Hyway Market as our three stores within just a few miles, and Burley Market easily is the closest and fills most of our needs. If not I surely apologize. I almost never use the Bridgeway market, but the other two I use "as needed" and no more. They are kind of a convenience store for me. From home, it's about 3 miles vs. 8 or 12, depending on where you want to go in Gig Harbor. I promised myself I would not go on a rant here, and I won't. I have been using these markets for about 10 years, the employees are great, friendly, helpful, just about like any business in the Gig Harbor Area. What I cannot understand is why the hell do they have to charge so much! I have not ever calculated, but I can get the point across without being exact! I do swear, their prices are about 25-40% higher than other markets in town. I have asked a few times over the years why so expensive and the answer is, that is the price of convenience. So I come back with "this is not 7/eleven, this is a community supermarket where there are many elderly people on a fixed income who cannot afford your prices, hell, if I had to do all of my shopping there, I would go broke with my family of 4, and I'm not joking. I think if they would price match with other markets, they would probably triple their business and still come way ahead on profit. Prices are my only issue with them, I use them as I said, like a convenient store, on a nice note, Key Center usually has very nice looking produce, it's too expensive most of the time, but it is nice. Ill finish on that.
