Sept…read more17, 2024 I asked about Capvaxive (the new pneumonia vaccine and he prescribed it for me and sent it along with another prescription on the 17th to the Abingdon Target (CVS 16991) he also sent me a receipt of this. It showed up on my CVS Perscription page with the normal response we are working on it, will let you know ect. The next day I checked the CVS App and the Capvaxive had disappeared. I took copies to the CVS Abingdon to ask what happened. The youngman was very condescending. Said they would be able to tell if anything would of been deleted, basically calling me a liar. I then went to the CVS in Bel Air with a script for Capvaxive. I wanted to know if they could order it. They were much more informed and enlighted me that they couldn't order it yet. So one, why was the legal script from my doctor taken down from my CVS Perscription Page, without someone reaching out and saying they couldn't order it. Oh, I forgot the condescending youngman told me to check with my doctor. I was like my Dr doesn't have anything to do with my perscription page. I don't find just deleting something you don't happen to carry at the time appropriate. The Abingdon staff need training and I think the head pharmacist should of stepped in and said something. I am currently recovering from surgery so getting around is a bit difficult right now. This pharmacy is conveniently located on the first floor of the Johns Hopkins medical facility in White Marsh. In addition to having medical prescriptions and assistive devices, they also have a decent assortment of snacks and beverages. While they staff couldn't help me with what I needed, they still gave me their undivided attention and provided excellent customer service!

It's an independent community pharmacy where the staff recognize and greet you and provide personal service. The Pharmacy fills your prescription for a reasonable cost and can order any health device and show your pictures from a catalog to fit your needs. Such personal service is not available in chain pharmacies. One most important service is a reminder for prescription refills and as much as possible fill with the same generic brand as requested.

The pharmacists have always been very helpful and pleasant and the other staff have been as well. It's also nice that they sell handy items and other cute items at the location. The positives is they do accept FedEx boxes, they have a photo section, and they do also have a pharmacy. The pharmacy seems to always either be busy or short staffed as well but they push through. The employees on the floor is constantly changing and some of them are really rude. I have found one lady that normally works in the photo and several other places in the store but she is always so sweet. I'll have get her name. When you get photos printed here, make sure to take a look before leaving to make sure it's up to par. All in all this is a decent Walgreens but it's not the best. They have somethings that need to be worked out and this could be a great place.

Another call for 35 minutes and hung up again. Why have to wait to speak with someone when you could have a callback system and would get notified when they are ready to talk to you. Also, they're ability to fill prescriptions is faulty. Other pharmacies call tell you right away is a prescription is available or needs to be ordered. Walgreeens take two or more days just to tell you it's being filled or has to be ordered. Then it takes additional days to fill it if they don't.

This review is for other…read morepeople who may be looking for a place that has what they offer. 1-They are small in size but seem very busy with possibly the few docs in building. There was 1 Pharmacist working, 2 technicians and then the owner came out when a line developed (who is a pharmacist as well) 2- they have DME such as walker, knee roller, crutches etc.. 3- according to the law & advertising they can give vaccines 4-have a small supply of OTC items made by "health mart " & some brand name items 5- staff seemed overwhelmed with the amount of rxs they were filling when I stepped up to counter to purchase 2 over the counter items and told me they would be with me soon. About 2 min later I was waited on & that was when owner came out to help get the line behind me down and the people sitting in seats waiting finished(I hope) Overall it's a small store ok for general needs. If you need DME billed I'd call first. The staff seems friendly. I can't attest to their pharmacy service only report what I observed.

I contacted this pharmacy about having a compound prescription transferred from another pharmacy…read morethat no longer worked with my insurance. Ultimately, I found out that Plumtree also did not work with my insurance so I didn't have my prescription filled there. I wanted to still write a review because the pharmacist (I believe her name is Sandra) was so kind and patient. She offered to help me find a non-private compounding pharmacy that would likely accept my insurance. She did all of the leg work in finding a pharmacy and sending over my prescription. Her customer service exceeded my expectation and made the situation much less stressful than it would have been otherwise. Based on that I would recommend giving this pharmacy a try.
