It's impossible to speak with a person when you need to. Robot- person says to say if you'd like someone to call you back and they will within the hour. So I'll have to make a trip over there which might be pointless, because I can't speak with someone. Change the system, or I won't shop here any more. Review for CVS - S. Main Street, Doylestown Customer service at this location has been inconsistent for over a year, but unfortunately, it seems to be steadily declining. Today, I stopped in to pick up a prescription and was disappointed once again by the lack of courtesy and professionalism. There was one person at the counseling window, one car at the drive-thru, three customers at the island, and no one actively at the main counter when I approached. The staff member abruptly shouted, "I CAN TAKE THE NEXT PERSON!"--with no greeting or acknowledgment. When I stepped forward, she immediately demanded, "LAST NAME. DATE OF BIRTH," without a single polite phrase or tone. I mentioned I was picking up three prescriptions. She bluntly responded, "There is only one," and made no effort to look further or offer assistance in checking for the others. There was no conversation, no attempt to be helpful--just short, clipped commands. At checkout, she barked, "SIGN THE PAD!" again with no pleasantries or basic customer courtesy. The transaction ended without even a "thank you" or any closing acknowledgment. With so many options now available--from online pharmacies to in-store services at Target and grocery chains--you'd expect CVS to prioritize customer experience. Unfortunately, this visit reflects a serious lack of care and training in customer interaction. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and improvements are made. read more

This is the best of the 3 CVS's in Doylestown "proper". The one on Ferry Road is super slow. The one near the Giant (CrossKeys Plaza) is fine. The one here (South Main Street) has friendlier staff and I can get in and out the quickest. I am thankful that my "little" home town has grown enough to support 3 CVS locations. They are going to kill someone ! They don't clean their pill counting plates between pills, leaving cross contamination of medication then they lie and say they do when I actually stood there for an hour waiting for a prescription and they do not and then you have bullies as pharmacy tech, who like to threaten you and try to make you feel like it's your issue that they're doing something wrong. They don't know the law they don't know about quality and safety. They don't know standards and rules and literally they are going to kill someone. Good luck if you go there. read more

I was there checking out on their self checkout with 2 small items (a sunblock primer and a travel size sunblock) and their machine is asking us to bag. We didn't need a bag!!!! So the machine didn't know what to do. We wanted to abandon the transaction and just go to the register and the person on the counter had an attitude and refuse to help. A lady came in and tried to berate us on how to use the machine. You don't deserve paying customers!!!!! read more

This in-town CVS has been my go-to for years. Despite some of the harsh reviews I see here (many five or more years out of date), I've always found the pharmacy staff to be pleasant. In a few cases with my insurance company making life difficult, this CVS pharmacy staff has been unflinchingly helpful. Yes, they're busy. They are in the middle of town. They should be busy or they'd be out of business. Besides, do you want the people putting together the meds that keep you alive to "rush" so you aren't waiting 5 more minutes? There's a self-check out register up front, decent parking and the store is clean and well stocked. No complaints as far as I am concerned, and I've been a general customer for 8 years and a pharmacy customer for nearly 3 years. read more

The most incompetent pharmacy ever. For everyone's sake I hope they shut down. The pharmacy staff is among the most incompetent, miserable people out there. They randomly close in the middle of business hours even when appointments are scheduled and don't have the courtesy to call and let you know your vaccine appointment is cancelled. They offer zero apologies. They never have medications in stock and always have to order them. The drive through is closed more than it's open and they never have your medications ready when they say they will. We've moved over to Walgreens which is far better. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place is the absolute worst. read more

This pharmacy is terrible! Prescriptions are never ready on time and are often counted wrong. You've got to count out your meds right in front of them when picking up or else you'll be returning to correct mistakes often. Employees are surly and bad tempered even though they're the ones creating the problems. Medications that have to be ordered often take weeks when other pharmacies can have them the next day. Even with all these problems it's usually crowded and glacially slow. I don't understand why people keep coming back... Literally every other pharmacy in town is much better. read more

This CVS looks huge from the outside, but is the same size as any other one once you go inside. I guess that whole back part is for storage or the pharmacy... Anyway, it's a typical CVS, but it doesn't have SELF-CHECKOUT. I haven't seen that like... ever. So 2 stars for you, CVS. I don't want those cashiers all up in my purchases. read more

Woefully bad disconnect between their automated phone service and actual counter service. Automated phone recording states refills are ready... but invariably they are not. It's a shame because I live within walking distance of the CVS in Doylestown, but I have to change to a new pharmacist for basic competency. read more

Pharmacy staff constantly overwhelmed, expect to wait in line. Consistently understocked in common items, so you will get 1/2 of the order the next day-- or much later. Text notification alerts confirming order is ready variously works...sometimes yes, sometimes no. No matter how many times i try to coordinate maintenance meds for same day pickup--forget it, not going to happen. THIS PHARMACY Stinks! read more

This is a great CVS, the pharmacists there are so knowledgeable and kind, the pharmacy staff is very good too. There is a good variety of items and I'm always using my Extra-Care card. It's nice to know and trust the pharmacists, I feel welcomed when I come into the pharmacy. read more

Worst customer service I have had in a very long time. Incompetent Pharmacist, wrong status on a critical medication and an hour long wait for prescriptions that were called in 5 hours prior to my arrival. I'm glad I am a registered pharmacist to verify that the medications I received were correct. For the sake of your well being, get your prescriptions filled somewhere else. read more

What a terrible experience dealing with this pharmacy. I contacted this pharmacy today on behalf of one of our patient's as I work for her doctor's office. The pharmacist continued to tell me her medication was denied by her insurance company. I had supporting documentation that her insurance DID indeed approve this medication and as I do with all prior authorizations, was willing to fax the supporting evidence so that she could put the medication through on their part. The pharmacist absolutely refused to do so, stating this was not their job. Handling medication IS indeed the pharmacist's job! How disappointing! We will no longer recommend that our patient's patron this pharmacy. read more
