I waited 30+ minutes on two different occasions to get to the pharmacy staff to transfer medications. Horrible. Don't bother with them.

I've found this Sam's Club a real help for entertaining and even purchasing regular groceries. The…read morequality of the groceries, especially meats and cheeses, is outstanding and they carry the bread I like in two packs, meaning that even this single person can buy a reasonable amount and put one in the freezer and one on the counter. The eggs are terrific, you can get pasture-raised, cage free or just standard eggs. The fruit is hit or miss, and the selection of veg is limited but what there is, is excellent. I buy the mini peppers, cucumbers and cherry tomatoes, all excellent. Alas, the onions and potatoes are in larger bags than I can use. So I have a friend who likes to split some orders with me. Milk is more difficult, cottage cheese is only in large tubs. Good for a family, not so good if you are a single person or even a duo. There are prepared foods, and party trays. And the sushi is good though it tends to have some kind of hot sauce on it (local preference.) The baked goods are so good, we gift our clients the pies at holiday time, and the cakes are also good. Previously, for our pie giveaway, we had gone up to Costco (a horror show in horror-show Christiana) and the pies weren't any better and were priced a bit more. Getting in and out of Dover Sam's is a piece of cake compared to dealing with Christiana. If you are trying to stretch a dollar or you are doing entertaining, this place is a gold mine. I haven't done much with the non-food items except bought slippers. The dog food is also the one my pooches like and costs less per can. The lines can be long; the self checkout will have an associate to help you and even the full-service line moves quickly. There is "scan and go" but I haven't tried this out (I think you scan items with your phone and it tots up your order as you get ready to depart.) I went two days before Christmas Eve (I know, crazy) and it was quite bearable, though you couldn't get near the rotisserie chickens--the line for the freshly made ones was down an entire aisle. The associates I have dealt with have all been extremely friendly. Summary: If you have a big family or do a great deal of entertaining, the membership will pay for itself many times over. You may find the quality is better than the local grocery store.

Twice I have ordered for Pickup. Time slot selected. Travel to store based on agreed upon pickup…read moretime only to have to wait literally for hours. Today, for instance I waited from 3:00 PM to after 5:00 PM. I called the HELP line and was informed they were 4 hours behind. Finally cancelled the order and LEFT. REALLY SAM....you can do better than this. Perhaps Walmart can help you get it together. They provide much better service. Sam's Pickup has been a real Bummer!!!

Giving them 2 stars because they do a military discount & help with global immunizations for…read moreimpoverished countries. Otherwise it would be 1 or zero if that were even a possiblity. I got a call from urgent care that today that my culture came back with an infection I needed antibiotics for. They confirmed this was my pharmacy. I went to urgent care on Friday and they said it was just a virus. I thought I had a uti but that looked okay until the culture results came back. So because I'm sick as a dog and don't want to wait in line on a Sunday, I called the store, used their automated service that specifically said it would be ready to pick up after 4:45 PM. I did this around 3:00 PM. Not feeling well, I pulled up to the drive thru at 5:00 pm and the woman straight up lied to me. She said it was just called in and I would need to wait 20 minutes. Why do you even have a phone service then? Seriously? I could of understood if she didn't lie and perhaps explained that they got busy or anything but a total fabrication. Have some integrity Walgreens.

Absolutely Disgraceful Service -- Walgreens Has Failed Its Customers…read more Waiting a week for prescriptions I went into the store where I was told to wait 15 minutes... after an hour and a half just to get prescriptions filled is completely unacceptable. What I experienced today was a masterclass in inefficiency, disorganization, and utter disregard for customers' time. The pharmacy appears to be plagued by a perfect storm of problems: chronic understaffing, a messy and dysfunctional system, prescriptions that somehow get lost, and a computer system that continuously crashes. Meanwhile, customers are left waiting endlessly, growing increasingly frustrated and exasperated, while employees struggle to manage what appears to be a broken process. Let's be clear: customers should not have to pay the price for Walgreens' operational failures. These are prescriptions, not optional purchases. People depend on their medications, and they deserve a pharmacy that can provide timely, reliable service without turning a simple pickup into an exhausting ordeal. Walgreens needs to stop making excuses and start fixing the problem. Hire adequate staff, get your technology working, improve prescription management, and establish a system that actually functions. Your customers' time, patience, and health deserve far more respect than this. After waiting 90 minutes amid chaos and frustrated customers, I can confidently say this experience was beyond disappointing. It was infuriating. Walgreens, do better. Your customers deserve better.
