This pharmacy's customer service is the worst. They always give me problems and honestly don't know what they're doing half the time. I have hormonal acne and have been prescribed Spironolactone among many other medications by a dermatologist. None seemed to work on my face. After researching other options, I came across articles stating that BC pills significantly help with hormonal acne. Fun fact: Birth control pills CAN be prescribed by pharmacist and you don't need to see an MD for a prescription. I found this out from my friend who is a pharmacist and works at another CVS location. On the CVS website, it states "For just $39, consult with a licensed pharmacist who can recommend and prescribe a birth control best for your goals. The service includes unlimited follow-up appointments for up to a year." Decided to go to this location to talk to a pharmacist and get prescribed BC pills. I politely asked if I could speak to a pharmacist for a consultation and he said "we don't do that here." I asked why and he goes to another pharmacist and comes back and says all the pharmacists here aren't qualified to do that. My friend (who is a pharmacist at another CVS location) decides to call the location and ask why they turned me away. The guy who helped me answered the phone and told her that he was just a floater and did not know how to do that. The phone was then passed to a female pharmacist and she told her that she was trained on how to do it 2 years ago and forgot how to do a consultation. Why aren't the managers actually training these pharmacists properly? How does a pharmacist forget how to prescribe these pills? There was three pharmacists there at that time and I guess all three forgot how to prescribe the medication. Great pharmacists indeed. Don't come to this location if you want good customer service and also pharmacists that actually know what they're doing! read more

There's much more to this CVS than just dropping off and picking up your pharmacy. I love that this location is open 24 hours and that I live up the street from this place. I come here just to see what they have sometimes in the middle section. They always have some small home goods or things knick knacks. For example I bought a Snoopy popcorn maker for my cousin last month because he loves Snoopy. It was only $20. I also get coupons since I signed up for the rewards. Although not all are applicable to me, I do find some that I definitely can use. Like a $4 off a $10 purchase towards men's shaving products. And none the less the staff. They are always nice and friendly. They're always willing to help you find what you need even if they know you be been here many times before. Kudos to you CVS staff! read more

I really hate this CVS for the lack of courteous staff. I only shop at CVS when I'm doing my couponing and ran into some clerks who don't seem to like their jobs. Tonight was the last straw when a clerk kept scanning one of my coupons and not wanting to process it, even though it was a CVS coupon!!!! He scanned it ten times (no joke) He kept saying it won't work.. I said you guys sent me the coupon, it's not expired and I purchased the exact item on the coupon!! After taking another five minutes reading the fine print and checking the item I was purchasing, he finally whipped out his keys and forced it.... I think he was hoping that I would just disregard it and pay for my purchases. But I would rather walk away from the entire purchase if you won't accept my coupon.... The ony reason I come here is because its close to home and its open 24 hours. But I will avoid this unless I have a legit need and don't mind dealing with the crappy attitude of some of the clerks. I ordered prints through the CVS iPhone app. It was extremely easy to upload, and i was excited to pick up the prints all day. After a few hours, I called CVS to find out the status of my order. First of all, it took 5 minutes for someone to answer. The lady that picked up was extremely rude and impatient. I asked her if I could get the status of my order and to see when I could pick them up. She asked for my name, and I told her, and then she put me on hold without notice. After waiting a couple minutes, she told me that my order was not on the system. I asked her, does that it mean it didn't go through, because i have confirmation email and confirmation number. Instead of asking me for the numbers, she abruptly put me on hold again.... WTF! After another couple minutes, she told me I was not on the system. I asked her, does this mean it didn't go through at all, or should I try to reupload?? She just said, "it's not on our system." I had it. After being mostly on hold for this 10 minute "conversation," I asked her to cancel my order if/when it ever appears on their system. She said, OK.. Is there anything I can do. What a crazy person! So anyway, I will never get a chance to experience the inside of this store. If the people picking up the phone for simple inquires so rude and disrespectful, I do not want to give them any of my business in person. My go to pharmacy around the area. Everything else about this CVS is pretty standard. Nothing that really stands out. 24 hours for both the store and the pharmacy. Sweet. The pharmacy and its workers are nice and hard working people. You drop off your prescription and they call your name. Simple system that works. Only drawback (I'm not counting this against CVS though) is that there are sometimes those people outside who ask you for money. Awkward. Do not make eye contact. read more

This review is directly at the Pharmacy in this CVS location. The store is separate. The experience my sister has had with the CVS pharmacy tech Marie. My brother in law has recently returned home from the hospital with a cancer diagnosis. He is in recovery and in significant pain. My sister went to CVS to fill his Rx. Marie said she would fill the script and the stated that she would not help as the 0 on the script wasn't closed and looked like a 6. She told my sister to contact the doctor at the hospital after a few calls my sister was able to get the Drs nurse on the phone who told my sister that he had spoken with Marie who was so rude that he hung up on her! My sister had been trying to get this filled for over an hour and decided to go to CVS pharmacy in Target. The script was filled in 20 minutes and she headed back to the CVS to pick up the antibiotic Rx she still had there. When she arrived she let Marie know that the other script had been filled by the CVS in Target with no issues and to please change her husbands main pharmacy to Target. Marie said to her "you want this done? Do it yourself!" My sister who works in healthcare let her know that it's the pharmacy's job to do this and Marie refused. She was rude, arrogant, and had hideous customer service skills. We will NEVER use the CVS pharmacy on Diamond Bar Blvd again as long as Marie is there. Goodbye CVS Diamond Bar! The only positive thing about this pharmacy is Jeff. After visiting this location for over half my life, he's the ONLY one that knows me by name AND doesn't miss a beat when I come in! "Say hi to mom & dad for me," he says because he knows them too. That is cust svc at it's finest. I dropped in to let them know they gave me the wrong medication but because it was filled a month ago they would not exchange it for the correct one. She wasn't at all apologetic & was quite rude and dismissive about it. Even though it was their error to begin with!! The first time they made this mistake I asked that they remove that brand of med from my profile & they exchanged it! But apparently they did not note my account. After the pharmacist refilled my prescription she handed it off to the cashier and she purposely ignored me & helped every other customer but me. When the pharmacist returned, she saw that I was still waiting to pay & she asked, "Cash or card?" She took care of the transaction at which time she said sorry. Too late...you get a big fat thumbs down from a loyal customer of 20+ years. If you're looking for a new pharmacy with fantastic cust svc try the CVS in Azusa off Citrus. They are stellar at what they do & don't stare at their phones while you're trying to talk to them! It's worth mentioning I no longer live in the area. Only stayed loyal because of Jeff. There is nothing that beats a 24-hour joint. CVS is opened around the clock, which after having one near my house, makes me wonder why all pharmacies aren't 24 hour. People get sick all the time, and to have a reliable drug store opened in 3 in the morning is practically a God-send. The place is pretty big with ample parking shared with the Vons. Inside you'll find everything a typical drug store would have, and probably some more. Especially in the over-the-counter area, CVS also supplies their own store brand products RIGHT NEXT to the brand names and are often cheaper. So far, I've purchased only store brand CVS stuff to save money, and I'm fairly impressed that they work just as well as the brand names. This place has jackets....wheel chairs...crutches...makeup....food....beer.....ice cream. Seriously this is like walmart in it's beta stage. Prices aren't that cheap, but late at night, the prices aren't too expensive. If you're not in the witching hour, maybe buying chips at Vons or most other products will save you a few cents. Service feels a little under-manned and their self check out service shuts down after like 10:00pm. Nice chinese guy at the register who seems to be there for the graveyard shift every night. The worst photo service on earth! Paid $15 to get wrong size photos and they asked me to cut'em myself!

First issue: Pharmacist refused to provide me medication because my doctor was located in Tustin, CA, yes, you heard that right. Second issue: Pharmacy has filled my prescription twice before at this location, no issues at all. Third issue: When I told the pharmacists my medication had been filled at this location previously, the pharmacist disclosed all pharmaceutical history I had with CVS. While she was correct in the fact I hadn't been logged in their system, she had disclosed my entire history to me, without asking for ANY identification before doing so. Yelp is my first stop before I file a HIPPA complaint for so easily disclosing my medical information, and then we will see about getting the medical board involved to kick some discipline into these glorified cashiers. read more

Pharmacist/ pharmacy tech, I do understand it's late (1:15a.m) but just a reminder you did choose to get in to the pharmacist/pharmacy tech profession and you also were aware of the possible hours by working at a 24 hour CVS. That being said, HE was rude to start off. Per him all CVS 24 hours close for one hour( that was not the reason for the low stars) Anyways, I was standing waiting for help for 4-5 minutes until he acknowledged me( not busy, I was the only one) and then said can I help you? I said yes and I'm here to drop off a prescription. he responded by saying (rudely )well the computers will shut down soon like in 5-10 minutes so you'll have to wait so come back tomorrow morning (again rudely) . An awkward pause like really did you just say that the computers might shut off in 5-10 mins !!? I mean I don't know how long it takes but if it takes long explain that. My first though mmm well can you try ??? He LITERALLY sighed and rolled his eyes and said come over here, )I don't think he even realized he did it, anyways he saw my paper and said yeah no I can't come back at 2:30 am. I'm not a person to complain but please explain to me the process and don't just say you can't. It's like me telling a customer at my office oh sorry my computers are shutting down in 5 or 10 minutes I can't help you with your registration! And remind you a in rude way! The Diamond Bar CVS Pharmacy has always been a pleasure to deal with. The last couple of days have been not very pleasant. Today (Tuesday 12-20-2022 about 12:45pm) is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. The woman at the desk where you go up to after waiting in line was very pleasant. My wife's prescription is already two days late due to not being in stock. She called earlier was told to come in after 12pm would be ready. The woman indicated for me to go the customer service desk to check on about the prescription being filled. Soon as I walked up to the window the Male Pharmacist had an attitude. (Note never seen him before New?) Told him my wife's information. He started saying they were all due Doctor had not called. Explained those are not the ones here for. Then his attitude went up another level. Was here for a pain management prescription. He just said not available. Tried asking if they would call when available, but he just shut me down. Frustrated just gave up dealing with him was leaving was a good 3 steps away he says very sarcastic "Have a Nice Day" and kind of laughed. read more

When i came to this pharmacy i had been to the ER the night before. The ER doc and pac had written me a script to take w me when i left. When i got to this pharmacy, the counter assistant pointed out that my name was not on the script. Yikes! Luckily it wasnt one of the schedule 1 drugs that i have to take. And, the assistant was able to resolve the issue and i got my script filled. I greatly appreciate the extra effort because that particular med is extremely helpful for me. Big, big thanks. read more

Open 24 hours!! Yay!! I've only lived in the area not even a month and it's saved me a handful of times. The prices are higher than average but I got what I needed and the people working were very nice for it being so late. They stop selling alcohol at 2 am. It's a decent sized store and very brightly lit. There's a large parking lot. Only thing is I have to complain about the ramen and frozen pizza selection... I know that's not a specialty but that's what we are looking for when we come in the middle of the night in our penguin pajamas. Better junk food for our midnight snacking sessions please. There was no on in line and I understand they may have had some phone refills orders ahead of my but when I told them I just had dental surgery and the anesthesia is wearing off, I think they can make judgement to expedite me when there's no one else in line.
