I'll beat your ass right here and now," I responded. So the guy says "Bring it on!" and then circled me and punched me in the shoulder. The teenage me put my stuff down and swung at his face (I missed and hit him in the neck) and then he moved on to the next unsuspecting customer ... just like that. The prices in this store do seem a bit high, but it is comparable to some of the other convenience stores in the downtown area. This 7-Eleven is convenient and only a few blocks from the hotel I was staying at. When I came by…read morearound 11pm, the hot dog rollers were empty. Some other hot foods were available though. Beer sales are prohibited after 1am. When I came back in the morning, the hot dog rollers were stocked. There were street deviants outside and inside. They usually leave you alone from my experience. I got my cigarettes and coffee without having to go too far. That's what I care most about. Good times.
