Wow. I was actually pretty thrown back by the attitude of the shift supervisor today. I know people have their days, but man was she not having a good day. It was so obvious that her attitude towards me and other clients was just plain out rude and undeserved. If you are not happy with your job don't work there. Go do something else, but don't try to make other people's days as bad as yours. The fact that I had to write a bad review goes to to say that your attitude was really that bad. I was at the pharmacy today to pick up some medicine, and it wasn't ready. The ladies who serve me are very polite and quick. But my medicine wasn't ready, and they sent me, I imagine, a tall man, over 60 years old, with no hair, to the pharmacist. He was serving a lady. It took him ages, and when it was finally my turn, he didn't even look at me; he was on the computer looking for something. I waited three more minutes, and nothing. I told the other lady I was leaving and would come back another day, that it was a total lack of respect on the part of that gentleman to ignore the client. This afternoon I received a prescription for a very necessary medication, it was sent to the CVS on Old Cutler in Cutler Bay. I went to pick up my medication I need to be informed they do not have it in stock at that pharmacy. I asked for it to be transferred to another CVS and the pharmacist with a straight face said we are out of stock and it is out of stock at every CVS within 20 miles of here. I called the CVS in Dadeland ( just out of curiosity) to see if they had the prescription that I need. Surprisingly they do have it in stock available to be picked up; however because of the way the pharmacist at the Old Cutler CVS put in the prescription in the system other CVS pharmacist's can not access the prescription to fill it. The Old Cutler pharmacy will not be receiving any prescription medication until Monday. I will no longer use this CVS as I can no longer trust the pharmacist. I will be calling at 10:00AM to have my prescription sent to the Pinectest location; that if they answer the phone or maybe I'll just drive there to speak to the pharmacist as that maybe quicker. read more

By far the worst pharmacy ever! I have had so many bad experiences with this pharmacy, and I am officially done. First off, they take forever!! The lines (both the drive thru and inside) are extremely long and SLOW. I have waited in line for almost an hour, in pain, after my prescription has been sent 24 hours prior, only for the to tell me that it's not ready, and that I should get back in line. I hate it, and it's always when I need the meds the most. I will never ever send another prescription here. The staff is also not the nicest. This has to be the worse CVs I've visited. Almost an hour waiting in the drive thru, then another hour in line inside the store. Now tried the drive through today and they're closed at 7. I went to the self check out and pressed for assistance and the cashier, who is a male and bald, and just for purposes of description, has a horrible personality, he came up and said to me (screaming with the worst attitude ever) YOU SHOULDVE GONE TO THE REGISTER, and went on to tap the fucking screen so hard I wanted to cry. He made me feel so fucking bad for just requesting assistance for him to do his fucking job. They are two days late on my prescription, then they tell me it will be ready at 4 PM. I go at 4 Pm and they tell me it'll be ready at 5 PM. My husband goes at 5 PM and they said another 45 minutes. Probably the worst CVS pharmacy there is. They need serious help at this location. The pharmacy will have you on hold for an hour before they pick up. The lines to get medication inside and outside are horrendous. They take multiple days to fill prescriptions and only fill them once you call or complain that they haven't been filled yet. Management needs to come in and do a major sweep of this place and get it on track. read more

The clerk was extremely rude and impatient with me and when the manager finally came after our bickering, she totally kept backpedaling away from me as i was asking her a question. She looked at me after i got her attention and she stared at me for a solid ten seconds before she finally walked away ignoring me completely. Awful customer service from the women that work there! Every time I go in there the women are always wearing a frown. One time the lady from the photo center came and demanded back a pair of scissors another r employee allowed me to use. Several other instances of rude behavior but only with the female employees. I really wish that they would just remodel this location! It's very convenient and there's plenty of parking but the actual store needs some serious TLC! It always smells like mold and the carpet is always wet and soggy. The pharmacists are pleasant and so is the staff, which is why I give it the 2 stars. I really want to love this location but I can't. They should remove the carpet altogether and close it for remodeling. You'd be surprised the increase in traffic when you do. read more

I hate coming here. Anybody--ANYBODY--can have a bad day. Which is why I'm forgiving of an establishment if I happen to get an employee on a bad day or short staffed. But this place? Without exaggeration, the pharmacy has the WORST customer service. It wasn't one, two or three times. It was everytime I went. God help you if you happen to be prescribed a "controlled" medication. I didn't have any experience with a controlled substance medication but these people consistently made me feel like a criminal whenever I dropped off my prescription. Suspicious, paranoid and an all around nasty disposition. CONSISTENTLY. I went to the Walgreens across the street one day because this CVS ran out of my medicine and was relieved they took my CVS Caremark insurance (yes, Walgreens takes CVS Caremark). And I never looked back because my Walgreens knows how to talk to people. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. read more

This is sad. My first review is inspired by my disappointment in a pharmacy. *SIGH* Basically, due to a change in my prescription plan, I had to switch from Walgreen's. Having moved to Cutler Bay in April, it seemed the transition to the CVS near the house would be easy. As soon as you walk up, you see the store hours posted above the sliding doors. Next to a picture of a pharmacist, it reads 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. I walk in, and find out the pharmacy doesn't open until 8:00. Apparently, I was wrong for assuming that the pharmacist next to the hours of operation would actually BE available at 7. Cutler Bay is a pretty big town, and Old Cutler Rd is a very busy street. There's no reason not to have better hours. The difficult (?) part in reviewing this store is that most pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens) have pretty much the same things available. You have cosmetics, medicine, candy, cards, etc. What sets one apart from the rest is the service. In 4 months, I've been greeted one time by whoever was covering the front area. I understand how busy a store can get, but at times when I was the only customer, I got nothing. There's one woman in particular who works the front register that is really not happy to be there. She seems absolutely miserable every time I walk in. I know being a cashier (been there, Eckerd's) is not the most rewarding job, but it is your job. One incident which stood out to me was when I went in with my wife to pick up her prescription. This was right after she had changed her name. The pharmacist was having trouble finding her prescription, when we remembered that they should check under her maiden name. They then found it. The guy who found it laughed, and another pharmacist said (not realizing I could hear her) 'These are the ones that make your hair turn gray'. Seriously?? I'm not sure what the correct response should have been, but I just left. There's something about the vibe in this place. As ridiculous as it sounds, I prefer the 'feel' of walking around a Walgreen's. Maybe it's the lighting, or the music. Sounds stupid, I know. If this was a restaurant, I could simply choose not to come back. If I had a choice, I would switch back to Walgreen's. The CVS on US 1 is no better, so I'm stuck with these people. It sucks. I know nothing will happen with the hours, but maybe this review will encourage CVS management to re-train their employees on customer service. Time will tell. read more

The problem with this store is that they can't figure it out. They always have one register open, and then someone playing cashier in the photo department. This leads to two lines, and much confusion...and you know how easily confused people can get. On the plus side, the pharmacy is decent. But they will never get a gold star for service. read more

Once again conveniently they don't have my prescription that I've been taking for the last seven months and the second time they change it and give me an increase. The girl that tried to assist me was rude and not knowledgeable. Wanted to leave my prescription through drive thru pharmacy. 2 cars were ahead of us we waited 10 min and nothing at 230pm. We decided to drop inside and they said it would be done at 630. We went to McDonald's next door finished and the same car was still there. We went to pick up at 830(2 hours after what they said) and the meds were still not ready!! Terrible service!! Went to CVS to get the flu shot. Pharmacist wasn't on duty so there was no one to give the shot. They said to come back the next day. We waited a few weeks and decided to go back to get the flu shot. Called before hand to make sure there was a pharmacist on duty. She said there was and would be there until 9pm. We show up to get the flu shot and the pharmacist says I'm about to go to lunch. Tomorrow works better for me. We said no thank you. This is already out 2nd time coming to this location after calling to make sure someone was here. Terrible service and what person can't take an extra minute out of their day to give a shot. It literally takes about a minute to prepare the shot and 10 seconds to give the shot. We will never be back to this location and will be telling all our friends not to go there. They just lost out on numerous customers. read more

I got my first job at a CVS years ago, so I'm certainly sensitive to the plight of the average employee. There are definitely some nice people working here, although they seem to have a very high turnover rate. The blonde lady that works the photo counter is exceptionally nice and helpful. That said, don't be surprised if your girl gets called "mami" instead of "ma'am". Typical Miami. read more
