I switched to CVS from Walmart across the street because my anxiety levels from the screaming kids and noise was getting to be too much. The store is clean, well stocked and peaceful. I like their extra bucks rewards program and the staff are always friendly and helpful. Getting a prescription filled here is always an adventure - usually multiple days and pharmacy trips before your prescription might possibly get filled. This is still a fairly new CVS. Just stopped by to buy a few personal hygiene products. Hoping to find Raw Sugar brand body wash but no luck so I didn't purchase a thing. I'll just have to drive back & stop by Walgreens. The employee here recommended I also give Walgreens a try. I already know they have the product I want, but wanted to make this a one time drive. I had to endure traffic on the way to Ontario & California just stopped by after dropping off a fedex package. Looks like I'll have to drive back thru more traffic to get to Walgreens. This has to be one of the slowest pharmacies in the entire state. Went to the drive in Window to pick up a prescription that had been called in and which I had already been told was ready. Yea. Only one car ahead of me. 16 minutes later it finally pulled away and I moved up to the window. 5 minutes later I finally got to give her my id and ask for the package. Went in because I needed cash back to tip the nail lady at the business across and my card did not work. My purchase was of $4 plus $10 back. We tried it twice. Nothing. Called my bank and they said they did not get a notification of my card being declined. Moved to another register. Still the transaction was declined. My bank was on the phone with me and they still didn't get anything. I left, went to the nail shop. Card worked. Went to the Hawaiian restaurant in the same shopping center, card worked. There was more than enough money to cover my purchase but something was up with their system I think. The two ladies that rang me up were very nice and understanding but I wasted 20 minutes of my time, and I couldn't get to purchase the danish cookies I really wanted to eat. read more

Worst CVS ever. The doctor sent a prescription over, we called and they said they need 45 minutes. We go 2.5 hours later to pick it up and they said it's not ready and to come back in 20 minutes. Friendly cashier at an easily accessible location. This location made it easy to quickly grab some essential things. The store itself was clean and the customer service was pretty good. Came in here the other day sometime in the evening. I was in significant pain and not really feeling up to customer service false positivity. Upon entering the store I was greeted by a girl with the most gorgeous eyes I have ever seen by the name of Jaymee. She asked how I was I replied "dying slowly". Her response had me laughing uncontrollably. She was pleasant and helpful, not mention beautiful. She turned my day from craptastic to enjoyable with a single response to a pessimistic person. After waiting for 20 min. Patiently because the tech said due to the long line the pharmacist "Michele" is not free to ck if the medication is available. I mentioned I can go shop and she offered to page me. After another 20 minutes of watching the line slowly end the pharmacist asked me what I was waiting for.. I told her I was waiting to here from you regarding my son's prescriptions.. waited another 5 minutes thinking she's already checking her computer or shelf.. Well I was shocked when in actuality she left and was finished for the day without taking care of me. She pawned it on the next pharmacist, who by the way was still on a break. I asked another tech how much longer.. till the other pharmacist is finished with her break, " oh another 15 minutes and we can't rush her". SMH what kind of medical or health service is this place!!! Terrible!!!! Wait for meds is insane, New customer, ignored me made me come back three times and still didn't have what I wanted. Told me I need a RX card from CVS, has to look up my info, made it look like I was asked her to build a computer instead of her job. CVS obviously treats these people like shit, Go in watch them work, its sad. Horrible service at the pharmacy. Unprofessional staff. I got an automated call that my prescription was ready. My prescription wasn't ready. Person behind the counter checked the computer said it would take 15 minutes. After about 20 minutes she calls me to the counter and tells me they were working on my prescription. She comes back after a few minutes to tell me they don't have my medicine which I needed. Tells me to come back the next day or to go to a 24 hr CVS. Doesn't know of the nearest 24 hr CVS and tells me to google it. I tell her this is very bad customer service because it was the second time it happened. She tells me to call the 1-800 number and proceeds to call the next person in line. I call a 24 hr CVS they have my medicine and the very nice lady tells me she has to call my CVS to have my prescription transferred, of course the person at my CVS failed to tell me that and by the time they called the pharmacy was closed (Sunday 6pm) read more

I've been going to CVS for years. A doctor write a new prescription for generic lexapro. They charged me $119.00 per bottle. I paid it because at the time I thought that was the going rate. Wal-mart and Vons pharmacy charges 18.00 per bottle. I never been so mad at the ridiculous mark-up on medication. I will no longer go there. read more

Absolutely worst place. The only reason we went there a couple of times is because it's closer. The store manager is rude as always. Camera doesn't work when you want passport pictures. Passport office rejected the photos they took. Covid vaccine appointments doesn't matter as no one attends you for hours. The store manager looked at us 10 times in 30 minutes and saw we are waiting but did nothing. Eventually, we walked out. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE experience a couple of times we went there. Not to mention 2 other customers shouted at pharmacy people because of some issues in just 30 minutes we were there. BTW store managers name that we dealt with is Kim. Suggestion - don't make an appointment for vaccinations. You will be done sooner if you DON'T make an appointment. STRONGLY SUGGEST to go to another store if you believe in sympathy and politeness. You day will be ruined going here. Also, they strongly suggest people to wear mask (written all over the store) for "safety" of theirselves and customers but Kim (store manager) doesn't wear mask and when she does it's under the nose for formality. read more

Over the last several months of picking up my monthly and sometimes bi-monthly prescriptions at the CVS on Ontario Ave. in Corona, the pharmacy staff was a joke. Always a long line and always seemed understaffed or slow moving staff that took forever to even make eye contact and acknowledge a customer waiting. I was seriously considering changing pharmacy's to Walgreens, even though its not as convenient. The last 2 times I've picked up my prescription however, I noticed they had a whole new pharmacy staff at this store. This is the most efficient I've seen this pharmacy run in a very long time! Kudo's!! The old staff was nice, but just inefficient and I tried hard to limit my trips to this store. The store has also recently been remodeled and looks much nicer overall! read more

The worst service in the world!!! I called the pharmacy at 9am and was told that my prescription would be ready after 2pm the same day. I arrived at 6pm to be told after waiting 30 minutes that it wasn't filled and to come back in 15 minutes. I came back at 8 pm to be told it still wasn't filled! The same thing happened last month and I figured they were unusually busy so I filled another prescription at that store only to have the exact same experience again! Never going to this cvs again! Not a very pleasant experience tonight.. I went in to look and see what they had for Christmas out, cuz last year I saw these gold reindeer statue decorations and decided to wait on them only to go back to get them a few days later and they were gone. I even went to other Cvs's and Wal greens to look for it and couldn't find them, so I wanted to go early this year to make sure I was on top of my Christmas this year. Well anyways.. I walked in and the lady that was standing at the front didn't even say hi to me but did look at me as I walked in. Then as I was only in there for about 2 minutes the lady said over the loud speaker " Security, scan all the cameras "... I was sure she was talking about me.. And I'm sure everyone else in there thought the same. Isn't there a way to ask security to scan the cameras privately?
