Lovely CVS with a super hard working staff, both back in the pharmacy as well as out front at the registers. Sure, there were lines at both but this is a busy location and the staff remained patient and helpful. Especially at the front self check-out where the staffer had to keep coming around to help a lady problem solve as she couldn't figure out how to work it. He was very gentle with her and came around 3 times to help her. Well stocked. Plenty of parking. Nice little grocery section. Scored fab ice cream! Plenty of Diet Coke. I got all I needed. My go to pharmacy for prescriptions. It is located on the corner of Livingston and South Parsons. If going to the pharmacy, I generally find it faster to go inside if the drive thru line is long.the store is kept pretty clean, stocked, and is well organized. In addition to prescriptions, you can pick up almost anything you need. Snacks, groceries, laundry detergent, you name it. The parking lot can be challenging to get out of at both ends but it depends on the time of day. read more

This is the most poorly managed pharmacy in Columbus. It's shocking. The staff in the pharmacy are angry, rude and aggressive to everyone. Every time I receive a text that my Rx is ready for pickup, I get there and wait in a LONG line while the staff talk to each other and ignore the customers. When I'm finally helped, my Rx is NOT ready and they stare right at me and then go microwave something to eat before filling my order. The CVS on Neil and the one in Target on Olentangy run like a dream - fast, efficient and professional. Please cross train with the staff on Livingston and help them! This might be the worst cvs pharmacy I've ever been to. Rude. Rushed and uncaring. Take your business to Kroger or Walgreens.

I came here because I live downtown and do not have a printer or access to my work computer right now due to covid, and therefore needed to use someone's printing services for a document I was needing for the new BMV ID requirements, "real ID", which requires lots of documents btw. I got up early to beat the rush at the BMV and went to CVS right at open at 8 am. I had visited a previous CVS location downtown that stated they were "out of paper"... and that the manager would have to come up and refill it - to which after 15 min of waiting, that hadn't occurred, so I left that CVS and came to this location. I came in, I was the only customer in the store, and sat down at the printing kiosk. I went through all the options on the screen but did not see their document printing. I assumed based on their website that it would either be another location or it was something staff had to take care of. No one had come to ask if I needed assistance so I asked the female staff member, I think her name was Virginia, to come over. I let her know I was trying to print a PDF document from a USB drive, as their website directs (I have attached a screenshot). To which she replied she didn't know "anything about that stuff" and that she would call up someone to help. A male staff member, I believe his nametag said Ty, came over and asked the other what she needed. She pointed at me. He turned and said in a very unfriendly tone, "what ya need". I told him I was trying to print a PDF document and... he interrupted me and pointed at the sign that said "photo kiosk" and said, "that doesn't do documents, its photos only... as it says". I added that I saw on their website that it said that they.... to which he again interrupted me and said "it doesn't matter what the website says boo boo, I'm here letting you know that we don't do document printing." And then looked at me like I was wasting his time. I asked if I could show him my phone where CVS' website stated that CVS did provide document printing and asked if he could help me find a location that did document printing if they didn't. He refused and said, "if you aren't going to listen, that's on you". I asked if he could get a manager to which he stated very rudely "I am the Operations Manager". I asked if he could call someone else to help me. He refused again, so I asked to speak with his boss then, to which he rudely refused and said: "I'm not giving you anything". I told him it was a damn shame that CVS put him in charge because he was extremely rude. He said, "oh, now you're cussing at me and insulting me, you need to get out of MY store." I asked him for his boss' phone number so that I could call them and then I would be glad to leave, to which he refused and said "if you don't leave my store right now, I am calling the cops on you". I calmly told him to go right ahead but that I wasn't leaving until I talked to someone above him because they needed to be aware of the apparent treatment that customers get when they visit this location and when they ask to speak with someone above them they demand you leave or they will call the police on you. I have visited MANY CVS locations in my life, and NEVER would I imagine being treated like this, let alone while trying to print a document. I waited for the cops to come while I still could overhear them loudly and clearly poking at me to other customers who had entered the store, trying to get a reaction out of me, telling the customers that I had "gone crazy" and that they were videotaping me for their own safety, and someone said "white trash" although I couldn't tell if it was a staff member or a customer. I ignored it all, wasn't taking the bait. When the cops arrived, I told them what happened, they determined it was NOT an emergency and recommended I call corporate because this store was "a squeaky wheel" and no one was going to fix it unless someone followed through with letting corporate know - to which the officers helped me in obtaining their corporate number, store number, and a report of the "false call" incident. I called corporate from that CVS' parking lot. I spent about 30 minutes on hold and then was asked a million questions by a friendly lady who said she was with a telephone complaint messaging service but assured me that the "higher-ups" would get the message about what had happened. She assured me that someone would call me back... SPOILER ALERT - no one has called yet... so, after many years of loyal service, this is why I will no longer be a customer of CVS and strongly urge their leadership to evaluate the management of this location - the officers who told me they get false emergency calls from this location "all the time". Can't even imagine how many times this has happened to customers and they just said they'd never return, just look at these other reviews... Disgraceful! read more

I in the last year switched to this pharmacy since it's close to home and I don't work near my former one. I was often disappointed in the former pharmacy but I've been treated so well at this location. Twice I've had to ask for them to fill something without insurance because getting through to my doctors is nearly impossible and they were patient, kind, helped me with coupons, and treated me like a human when I needed it most. Very very grateful for your staff. To anyone complaining about their attitudes, you try working in the field. I am grateful for this team! Usually kind, but even bare minimum they still get the job done. Thank you all so so much. read more

I would rate this pharmacy zero stars if it was possible. There is no way to reach the pharmacy staff at all without leaving a message and getting a callback. They do not have an option to talk to a representative or a pharmacy member. This morning I was in the middle of an active asthma attack, trying to get my inhaler from the pharmacy and I only couldn't get through to the pharmacy but was so upset by the end of trying to call not only this pharmacy but three others that I left a voicemail saying I was going to put CVS in my suicide note due to their horrid dial up menu that NEVER ceases to insight rage into all who deal with it. When I finally got my prescription through, I ended up calling the pharmacy to see how long it would take to pick it up as I am still actively dealing with with an asthma attack, and the supervisor who listen to my voicemail told me that kind of language was unacceptable and then she hung up on me! I don't know about y'all but when you are in the middle of a health crisis and you have called someone 15+ times and you cannot get a real human being on the line. this is hands down the worst pharmacy in the city. the pharmacist is a robot of a man that leaves zero room for humanity. I have a prescription I've been on for over six years and have had it filled at cvs the entire time. I recently switched to this location and he refuses to fill for me because my license is on my phone (valid) but I have a physical copy of my expired license. same name. same address. same everything but I can't use it here all of the sudden. ive used it four months (procrastinating is a problem for me lol) and they now say no. I can literally DIE without this medicine and they won't give it to me and now I have to get it filled at a different cvs. I get policies and regulations but at the CVS at lane and high they fill with no issue As long as I have an id to write down who picked it up. That's it. this Location needs help with their ability to think reasonably and to make accommodations for the human side of the business. read more

Not the most helpful pharmacy to go to. I went in just to ask a simple question about my mom, none of the techs would even come to the counter. One was yelling from the back making me yell my mothers info across the pharmacy and she wouldn't even look up from her computer. It was 8:30 as well so the pharmacy hadn't even been open that long for her to be so rude from the beginning. I suggest another location they don't really do their job well at this one which is to HELP people. read more

This is the worst CVS imaginable. Waited in the drive thru for 20 minutes only to find out the pharmacy closes daily from 130 to 2 for lunch, even if they have a line full of customers! If that's not egregious enough, came back later to find out they did not have my prescription ready, even though it was supposed to be ready the previous day by 2 o'clock. Do yourselves a favor and go to another CVS, or better yet, a different pharmacy altogether. read more

Stopped in for a few things since I was nearby. It has dominated this corner for a few years, but I've never needed to stop. Big parking lot, easy access, nicely designed lot. Service was great- both at checkout, and when I needed help finding something. Got what I wanted, on sale. Prices at CVS are a little high in general, so I don't recommend doing a lot of shopping here. But for a few odds and ends, it's fine. This location is pretty big and has a good selection. Frankly, I'm surprised at how pleasant my experience here was; I expected a quick stop, higher prices, and disinterested employees, but was pleasantly surprised. read more

I don't know what the ladies name is behind the Pharmacy Counter but she's older African-American light skin with curly or stringing hair but she's always rude it's just her whole attitude her & disposition is not good every single time I come in there. somebody needs to talk to her about attitude adjustment. just be nice & kind to the customer. be respectful watch her tone. but somebody needs to address her And she's probably been this way for a long time that's why she is still the way she is without anybody addressing her issue. read more

Worst customer service I've experience in a very long time. I hope the tall lady that always keeps her head on a pony tail is not the manager. Her attitude is disgusting to all customers. I overheard someone asked her how much the Monster where. When someone asks you that question, you can't say "I don't know" the CORRECT, proper way to address that question is "Let me find out for you". When I asked her if I can make a Moneygram transaction she responded "go to that kiosk and then come back". Well, I spent 20 minutes figuring out the f*** kiosk to them get back in line to have her say "oh by the way, it's cash only". Seriously?? You couldn't say that before I wasted my time? She is a horrible person and should be replaced. read more

This review is solely for the pharmacist, Laura, at the CVS on Livingston Avenue across from Children's Hospital. I've just experienced one of the most appalling interactions EVER. With any business. But especially with someone in the medical community. Here's what happened: My best friend was in the hospital for two days, and we were finally able to check out of Riverside at 9:30 pm on Friday night. The doctor sent her home with a list of prescriptions needed to fill - including pain meds - so we had to get them filled that night. We sped away in the Hurricane Sandy rain to the CVS on Livingston Ave, which is only about a block from my friend's house. We pulled up to the drive-in window at 9:49 pm, and the pharmacy closes at 10:00 pm. I knew how late we were, so I profusely apologized to the pharmacist, Laura, but asked if she could help us anyway. I explained the entire story and even had my sick friend in the car with me. Laura told me that the meds would take longer than 10 minutes to fill, so she could not help us. She said we needed to go to the 24-hour CVS across town in Whitehall - over 25 minutes away. I looked right at her and said, "I have a sick friend here who just got out of the hospital and needs her medication. You're still open and you have no other customers. It's storming outside, and there are traffic accidents along all the roads and highways. And you want me to drive 25 minutes away simply because you don't want to work a few minutes late?" She said yes. We drove off and headed to the 24-hour CVS. We got back to her house in German Village at 12:30 am - when we could have been home before 10:30 pm if Laura had simply done the right thing. Is this the type of culture CVS wants to create? And why in the hell did Laura become a pharmacist in the first place? It's certainly not to help people. She could have spent a few extra minutes and really helped a sick patient, but she chose to turn us away instead. I've never seen an act so inhumane by a medical professional, and I would never wish this type of treatment on anyone - including this pharmacist. read more

Quite possibly the worst pharmacy in Columbus. I'm not sure if they are understaffed or just largely unable to do their job, but over the course of 48 hours, they were unable to properly process my prescription. Eventually, I was forced to call the insurance company myself - because the technician/pharmacist was "too busy to look in to it at the moment." It was at that point the insurance company told me that CVS was simply processing my Rx incorrectly and that I should inform them of that and that it would be an easy fix. When I came back to CVS, the tech/pharm. said it was not input incorrectly and that it would be an hour to an hour and a half before she could look into it further....because "it is a little crazy right now." (There were two people in line, by the time I left a third had walked up - these numbers include myself.) As a result, I requested that they simply give me back the Rx or transfer it to Kroger on the other side of German Village. She said she could/would transfer it for me. She then inquired as to if I knew the number for their pharmacy - obviously something I should have memorized. After looking the number up on my phone, I wrote it down it for the tech/pharm. and she said that it would be an hour to an hour and half before they could get around to transferring the Rx. I'm hopeful that they will indeed transfer my Rx. I'm also hopeful that Kroger will be able to process it in less that 48 hours. Thank goodness it isn't for anything overly serious. read more

I have had a problem for months with them not running my insurance for my refills. When I call and talk to the pharmacist she was rude and ignorant. I asked to fill all listed prescriptions under my profile and she refused unless I named each individual medication off. As I was naming them she then hangs up in my face because I'm speaking loudly. WOW SUCH A GREAT WAY TO DISPLAY PROFESSIONALISM!! I wish there was a way to write into corporat. I have had nothing but problems since November with this location. And to think I didn't mind the 15 minute drive because they used to have professionals in there now they act as if you're an annoyance when you call to have something corrected. IT'S NOT MY FAULT THAT YOU THE PHARMACIST DIDN'T RUN MY PRESCRIPTIONS THROUGH THE INSURANCE THE FIRST TIME!!! DON'T GIVE ME YOUR ATTITUDE BECAUSE YOU'RE HAVING A BAD DAY!! I'll be reviewing just the pharmacy with this review. Most incompetent pharmacists and pharm-techs I've ever seen. While waiting to get scripts filled, witnessed at least 4 major HIPAA violations; in terms of loudly asking customer information, doctor information, prescription type, and other personal info. They were unable to properly reference scripts that had been called in on prior days, and required the customer to come back on another day due strictly to incompetence. Also, offer a drug disposal program (advertised at location) , not only was this not honored, but the Pharmacist on hand suggested that "you just flush it down the toilet." Avoid at all costs, and may all of them be swiftly fired. read more

I have always had a pleasant interaction with the pharmacy staff. They have called to remind the doctor's office to send the refills even when the office told me they would and they did not. This has been one of my favorite pharmacies. Every interaction I have had with the pharmacy techs and front desk clerks has been phenomenal. As a whole they are friendly, understanding, and pillars of excellent customer service. Without fail when I walk in the front clerk, her name escapes me, (a black woman with cornrows) greets everyone with an enthusiastic "hello" and great smile. There was a mix-up with my scripts related to changing a dose and the pharmacy was quick to fix the issue and get me out the door. read more
