Solid location in Bexley. I like this one as it has a Minute clinic. Always well stocked and seems like it is always busy. Was here for a Minute Clinic visit, at the Wellness Hub, and decided to pick up some things after the appointment. Remember to download or check the CVS app for discounts and coupons as I always find the price point on regular items a bit high. I'm sure I've reviewed this. Been here a couple times before. Tight entrance and parking lot, standard for Bexley, so be careful, but it's a big-enough lot plus there is street parking. Standard CVS selection and pricing. Handy sometimes, but not a go-to if you have a bit of time to shop around. They were out of what I needed, but generally well-stocked. read more

This CVS pharmacy will sell you fake 3rd party gift cards that you cant use and then when you return with the gift card in less than 1hr they tell you that they cant give you a refund or give you a real gift card and have you call their 800 shop cvs and then the man will have you give him the store and reference numbers off your receipt then tell you that they are deactivating your fake gift card and for you to chalk it up as a loss yes their representative actually told me to chalk it up as a loss so just know if you do not see then swipe your gift card to load it know you are about to get robbed like i did read more

I was at this location to pick up my prescription at about 2.15 on Jan 29.I got my meds but got a few items I needed.I got in line to pay a ND your cashier told me she had to take some ID photos. I couldn't stand up any longer, so I placed the items on the counter and walked out while she looked at me and told me to check my own stuff a d gave me a sarcastic " well have a good day then. I have never left a review in my whole life. but if I could give this place 0 stars I would. They are incredibly underrate, long wait lines, and have piss poor communication skills. This city of Bexley deserves better than this. I call and ask when my medication will be ready and I'm told 20 minutes. it then takes 3 hours. next time I need my medication I call to confirm it's available as I haven't received a text. They send me to voicemail and eliminate the option to speak to a pharmacist. I'm not sure whose fault this is whether it's management or staff. But from the outside looking in it doesn't look like anybody gives two shits about their customers and community they're serving. The worst experience of my life. Had to reschedule a clinic appointment which went through but when I showed up they couldn't find my appointment. Their availability can be hard especially when I already drove 20 minutes to one with close availability to see someone just to get prescribed tamaflu. Don't even get me started on the phone line it was absolutely awful. Terrible company. read more

I come here often when I visit the Bexley neighbourhood of Columbus. Kelsey, one of the employees is friendly as well as the others. Everyone greets you as you walk in and thanks you as you leave. With the amount of coupons I get in my email, I love to come into CVS to buy things like toilet paper and house cleaning wipes. I normally come here to buy the natural body wash and body oils. The "Shea Moisture" is a great brand for natural body products and I find it here at CVS. I don't buy groceries here because that is too expensive but on occasion I'll buy some sweet potato chips or bread. Their milk options are very limited and I don't recall seeing Almond Milk being sold here (I don't drink Dairy Milk). The only downside is the wait times for the minute clinic can be long. I don't think you can make an appointment beforehand. You have to walk in then complete the computerised questionnaire then wait to be seen by a nurse. It is convenient thought that there is a minute clinic I still come here whenever I'm in Columbus. I recommend this CVS Bexley location for your basic needs. Less than one star rating. Always backed up to the street and super frustrating at maneuverability. The pharmacy is very rude and treat you with their mood of frustration for being busy. Second review because the service just gets worse and worse. I went into the store because it was 5.45PM on a Saturday and I was concerned they'd not wait on me, like in the past. As I stood at the counter being ignored by 5-6 employees working the pharmacy, the woman working the drive-thru was being rude and sarcastic to a man who had wasted his time, (as I did with two other trips), to pick up his prescription. After he drove away, they cheered her on for her obnoxious rude behavior to this customer. So I spoke up and asked how long I'd have to wait before being waited on. I too, was greeted by an equally rude woman, and mentioned I'd be transferring my prescription because I was so tired of the rudeness here and such a lack of service. She rattled off a bunch of excuses, and stated she'd be happy to transfer my prescription. I was stunned at her behavior... at one point she told me she didn't care how I felt. She'd transfer me to another location. I told her I was sorry she was overworked. She responded that she wasn't overworked. I asked why she just stated they were understaffed... so not sure she had basic labor concepts. It's sad these people are so poorly trained, qualified and lacking general skills to work with the public. CVS needs to acknowledge how poorly this pharmacy is run and help this staff. What awful jobs they must have to treat their customers with such disdain. Oh yeah, of course they filled my prescription wrong. It's okay. The people in the pharmacy are nice but they seem to be winging it, no clue what they are doing. A blonde older lady in the window was a piece of work. She was clueless and left me feeling uneasy and no confidence in whether she'd even give me the correct rx. Her initial interaction was unsettling, maybe she was pulled from another area in the store. It appeared as if she was relaying info she didn't understand. On the second try she told me to come inside to pick it up. After waiting forever I was told it would be another 30mins. This was an urgent request btw. So after FOUR tries, I left and had it called in to another pharmacy. I tried to give this place one more chance because I was desperate and had limited ability to drive. Never again. Now not only am I in pain and late on taking my antibiotics but I have to Uber to pick up my rx from another pharmacy. read more

To be clear, I can't say I'm a fan of CVS because I am the wife of an employee at one of the locations. Although I can only review based on individual store experiences. Here goes my review. I come here off and on to get snacks to get me through my workday. Sometimes I will find something I really need at this location that the others don't have like cards for Jewish holidays, only because this particular area caters to this population. What I really like about this store that maybe other locations turn me off is that their customer service is top notch. I will go into the Sawmill Road CVS and completely be ignored as a customer and I'm almost to the point of just no longer going to the pharmacy and doing mail in prescriptions for this reason. I will not put up with being disrespected as a customer at other locations whereas this location I will not get that kind of service. This location however, always asks how am I doing or how was work. Those kinds of questions shows great service. CVS should stand by their logo of caring for the person. If other stores cannot do this, please go back to training your employees correctly and learn from this Bexley location! It's without a doubt I will continue to shop here because I like their service. I probably won't get prescription stuff but definitely get other things I need. read more

This place should be shutdown for malfeasance, with respect to the pharmacy. It is bewildering how cvs can allow such blatant incompetence and wanton disregard for handling prescriptions. I have to give the Bexley CVS credit -- they have *greatly* improved in the pharmacy. The main pharmacist now is super personable and that rubs off on the rest of the staff back. For the most part, everyone is really friendly and helpful -- despite being overworked and constantly busy. The front folks continue to be friendly and helpful, and the Minute Clinic continues to excel. Overall, this has somehow become one of my favorite CVSs in the city! read more

On 1/13 I unfortunately fell and hit my Tail Bone - really hurts, and since the fall I couldn't go to the bathroom, and literally got backed up On 1/15 my partner went to the CVS Pharmacy and spoke to the pharmacist asking for solutions - maybe a stool softener to help me go. When discussing with the pharmacist the situation, The Pharmacist said that " I don't see any relationship between the fall and the fact that I couldn't go to the bathroom". Not sure where did he study or how much he knows - but when you get to the pharmacy you do expect the pharmacist to know a little more than you do. I had a prescription called in yesterday for a procedure today. As of this morning, no text to say it's ready. I call and learn they are backed up a couple days. What? I ended up pushing to get my medicine but how can a pharmacy justify being in business if it can't meet a community's needs for prescription medicine when it's needed? How can there not be a notification of said delay? And last - how is the pharmacist on the phone justified in being rude to the customer asking for their timely medicine? read more

Working in the area and my local CVS would have been closed by the time I got there so I made a quick stop at the Bexley CVS. At around 930 the place was not that busy and there were multiple employees stocking and facing the shelves. I walked down five aisles and had two people offer to help me find whatever I was looking for. They have good signage and organization at CVS so it isn't that hard to find what you are looking for if you had been in a cvs before. At the same time I didn't need the help, it was nice to be asked. As someone who is semi-brand loyal to CVS, this is one of the nicer CVS stores I have visited over the years. This location is generally clean, they have wide aisles, always seem to be well stocked, and they have plenty of parking. After finding what I needed I was able to check out quick. The cashier was friendly and asked if I had found everything I was looking for as well. As usual I got a enough coupons on my receipt to write a novel on. While the chain has a good rewards program, why do you insist on giving me coupons for the products i just bought that expire in a week. How do you expect me to use a coupon for deoderant you gave me last night that expires in a week after I just bought two sticks? If you are going to give us a coupon, make the expiration date later or allow us to print new coupons when we walk in based on past purchases as you are tracking what we buy and how often we buy it. Rewards aside, I would recommend shopping at this CVS location as they have had consistently good service (5-6 stops a year here for 3-4 years), keep things clean and stocked, and they know their inventory. Giving 2 stars seems very generous. However, I give them solely based on the fact that they are at the end of my street in Bexley. I used a small "mom And pop" pharmacy for my regular medications. The downside to using a smaller pharmacy, is that they aren't open on weekends. So, my son needed to start a new medication from his doc appt yesterday morning. I had no other meds to pick up at my normal pharmacy, so rather than make the extra drive, I told his doc to just send it to the Bexley CVS. Of course, here we are- no call to let me know it's ready (I'll provide them with my phone number for the 9,000th time, but it will do no good). I called yesterday evening to see if it was ready for me to pick up and was informed by the super pleasant (heavily riddled with sarcasm) pharmacy employee that they are "working on Wednesday's prescriptions because they are so behind". When I suggested transferring the script to another pharmacy because they are "sooo busy", I was told it would be hand delivered to the pharmacist to be filled today and I would get a call upon completion. No call. Not shocked. I'll go get it today (since my call told me it was ready) and will promptly have it transferred to my normal pharmacy on Monday. I can't be really irritated honestly. It was completely my fault for assuming they have their act together. Nope. Just a big reminder of why I quit them in the first place. I'm a sucker for a pain in my ass I guess. You would think *someone*from CVS would read these reviews and actually do something different. But, I think the reality is, they will continue to run a shit show, so long as people continue to give them business. I certainly think the majority of people who deal with them, do so out of location convenience and not necessity. Lesson officially learned. read more

I've been meaning to give feedback on this cvs for years, but part of me kept hoping it would get better. This cvs is notorious for being insanely SLOW. It's a running joke amongst Bexley and Near East Side residents that the staff in this CVS is certainly never in a hurry. That's something local folks have just come to terms with. But the RUDE and unprofessional customer service is what sets this cvs apart from others. In one transaction alone- I had an attendant roll their eyes at me and put her hand on her head to make sure I knew how annoyed she was that I asked for an update after THEY were delayed in getting me my prescription. When I called to hopefully speak with someone who had a little more kindness and could give me a more accurate update-- I was approached with even less professionalism by the pharmacy tech. She was condescending, unkind, unprofessional, and dishonest. Chances are they had a great laugh and called me a "Karen" since that's easier than jjsy being kind. This cvs is just absolutely awful and continues to attract bad employees due to its reputation. Certainly nobody (at CVS) cares, but my husband and I are finally transferring our scripts to the Parsons location. The Bexley location just isn't worth it, despite being closest to our house. read more

Had every thing i needed. Everything was stocked and easy to see. The store was clean and very easy to navigate.

I'm not usually one to leave reviews at all, however, this situation really did need to be shared. I went in to cvs last night hoping they'd have windshield wiper fluid, I knew most likely not however you never know. There was a worker, young female, sitting in one of the aisles on a chair, just on her phone, so I walked up and simply asked "would you know if you guys carried windshield wiper fluid?" She got up clearly agitated that I would even ask her a question, walked to an aisle without saying anything, and walked to the front still without a word. I wasn't sure if she was checking or not so I walked around looking for it, with no luck. About 15 minutes passes by and still no word so I assume they don't have it or she just wasn't looking, mind you I didn't need her to look for me, a simple "i'm not sure but it would be in this aisle if we do" would suffice. I start to head to the front to find her and let her know I was just going to look somewhere else, but before I could get to her she walks away with a coworker and I overhear her saying "This bit*h walked up to me as i'm minding my bussiness..." and then started laughing. I walked away before I could hear the rest of the conversation because of how appalled I was. Coming from someone that works in customer service, if you don't want to handle customers asking you simple questions... get a new job. read more

Well if you need a quick clinic to check you out then this is the place. I came here to use the minute clinic and the pharmacy l. The wait was extremely short for both. The doctor was very down to earth and held great conversation. The pharmacy was done with my prescriptions within 15 mins and address any questions I asked. Will I return ummm yeah! The store can have some great deals with your cvs card. But can be overpriced on non sale items. read more

I work at a grocery store so I've been tested for COVID a lot at different sites all over the city and this was by far the best experience. I was able to make a rapid test appt 2 hours in advance (most places you have to wait at least a day to get in). The staff working the covid testing was super friendly, efficient and helpful, it was a very well oiled machine. I had some other issues and Abigail, the NP, was more than willing to get me in to be checked out, I felt like she was legitimately concerned for me and cared about my well-being. I've had several medical professionals lately kind of downplay my issue and not really willing to help me or try to find answers, but Abigail was all about it! I felt relieved and informed after leaving instead of feeling annoyed and uncertain like I've been feeling throughout this whole issue. 12/10 experience read more

Considering I'm a native of Bexley and this CVS is just right down the street, walking distance actually, I find myself here quite often. The staff at this CVS is very friendly, and they always have everything in stock. They have very extended hours too, which is always a huge help when it's late at night and the grocery store is closed. read more

This review is no reflection on the staff of the Bexley CVS. In fact it was one of its employees that is responsible for this review. I have always gone to this CVS and have noticed that the prescription prices have steadily creeped up. Today the price of 2 prescriptions was $79.00. She recommended that I go to GoodRx.com and print a coupon that could lower the price. Well, what I found out was astonishing. By switching to Kroger and buying an annual membership for $36, my two prescriptions cost me $3! How is this even possible? Very bad service. Last 3 month mix up all my prescriptions. Text it is ready, but then you pick it up, is not ready. Waisted lot of my time.

Very much understaffed, both the pharmacy and front store need more employees. The MoneyGram and cash register NEED to be updated. The money gram is a telephone that works about half the time and it's fard to tell when your coupons will pop up on the machine. CVS and Caremark have a partnership but don't seem to work well together. From our experience, we feel that this CVS is deliberately pricing gouging us at every opportunity. Caremark provides price information on their site per our plan. I went back and checked our prescriptions from the 12 months. This CVS has routinely and consistently overcharged us anywhere from 100% to 2,400% of the prices quoted on Caremark for meds available AT THIS VERY CVS LOCATION (one example was $96 for name brand bactroban cream when the generic ointment for $4 would do). When we've talked to the pharmacy manager, she tells to call Caremark. Caremark says their pricing information is correct and to talk to the pharmacy. The pharmacist states that our plan is different and we don't get the pricing quoted. Caremark says that we are entitled to the pricing listed on their site and to print a copy and show the pharmacy. The pharmacist says that Caremark is difficult to work with. This seems to only be a problem with my wife's prescriptions and not mine nor our daughter's. As a matter of fact, Caremark has no record of any prescription claims for my wife but they do for our daughter during the same period. CVS says they are submitting the claims but Caremark has no record of any claims being submitted by this CVS pharmacy. We are at our wits end. How can a prescription drug plan called "CVS/Caremark" not work at CVS consistently? read more

I'm only giving it a 1 because 0 isn't an option. Literally the absolute worst cvs pharmacy In Columbus, the actual store is fine, but the service at the pharmacy is abysmal at best. They constantly mess up prescriptions, have horrible customer service; putting me on hold for at least 20 minutes every time I call, drive thru is also slow as hell. Worst CVS in the Columbus area. They constantly have problems with staff. You often wait for an hour or more for a prescription. Yesterday I waited in the drive-through for 22 minutes before someone came to the window. I pushed the button several times and when the pharmacist came to the window she was angry with me because I had pushed the button several times. There were six cars behind me. The pharmacist was extremely unprofessional. This is just one example of how unprofessional this Pharmacy is. For the past several years it seems to be a management problem. It is unfortunate because it is in a great location in Bexley but it is not serving the people well at all. I have been a CVS customer as far back as when CVS was Revco but now it looks like I will need to switch to Walgreens. read more

I love how CVS gives you a text message whenever your prescripts are ready for pick up. We have a rather large family (7 of us) and someone actually called to arrange all the monthly refills so that they were on the same day! Genius!
