The inside is very dirty and it's too many staff for it to go as slow as the transactions go also, the chubby African-American girl younger in the drive-through is nasty and a little Spanish lady. Also, you call and confirm about your medicines our total time you're able to come pick them up then they're at the to tell me that they just got back from lunch 30 minutes ago like that's an issue that belongs to me the prescription been in your pharmacy for a week. It's not my problem that you can't do your job definitely gonna look into changing pharmacies because this is a damn shit show. it's almost like an entire circus clowns everywhere. read more

I've been dealing with this Pharmacy for over 10 years even when the location was on the staff on the is extremely short disrespectful and unprofessional. I've had a pharmacist blow hot air in my ear and talk back and then state to me. I need to call back with a better attitude. I'm not sure what is going on with this company, but it has went extremely downhill and they really need better pharmacist with better customer service when dealing with someone medication it's very important to have a Pharmacy. You can trust. read more

Macy at CVS on pharmacy on Boulevard was the absolute WORST. I got in line at 7:25 in the drive thru, waited 35 minutes and at 8:01 is when I got to the window. They shut the gate in my face even though I was in line WAY before they closed. I went inside and told her my mom was sick and she said over and over she didn't care and that it's not her problem. They "close at 8" so they won't help you after 8 even though I was there way before they closed. She was screaming at me and insulting me. There will be a lawsuit. My mom was extremely sick and needed her medicine and suffered because of her. She was so unprofessional, cursing and insulting me. Everyone else that was in line before 8 came inside and was cussing her out. They were sick and needed their medicine. She cussed the customers back out. read more

All 3 CVS pharmacies near me are absolutely horrible! They continue to close early and open late, they are always behind on filling prescriptions and to make matters worse they now take 1hr lunches!!!! Not to mention you can't call and talk to anyone, you have to leave a message and guess what?? They rarely call you back! Stuck with thos pharmacy due to a lack of supply of certain life saving medications elsewhere and insurance. Their app tells you some is delayed but not why or anything, just to check back. Now my child is without a medication my child needs to function and has awful side effects when can't take it. I don't understand how they are allowed to continue to run a business like this, like really this is absolutely horrific. read more

The advertised Drive-Thru was closed upon arrival during normal business hours (am) and then was closed while in line during the evening hours. A line of cars patiently waiting when they decided to close it as I pulled up and wouldn't respond. They don't know why people use the drive-thru and it really doesn't matter, but it could be injury, chronic pain or just don't want to catch the flu. If they are open, they should service both areas without question or rudeness. read more

The people that work in the store we very rude when I asked for I formation on where to to find items. The pharmacy department were also rude and dismissive to me. read more

I'm not sure what has happened, but service has gone downhill drastically. Prescriptions are never auto filled anymore, are not ready when promised, and times at drive thru are horribly long. It's also causing a lapse in medications being taken daily. I was informed today by my doctors office that they have been lying to customers stating they have requested refills from their doctors office and sending nothing to them. Then telling you you have to call. Very frustrating! read more

The cashier (young Mexican-looking girl) at the pharmacy was rude to us on 08/27/19 at 6 pm. There was a problem with our prescription, and she was rude and not helpful at all. She looked tired and angry. We could not get out of there fast enough. I am now switching to Walgreens. She should receive basic training on customer service. read more

The worst costumer service ever the young Spanish looking girl is very rude. I went to pick up several prescriptions and one on paper, the girl told me that is going to be four hours before I can pick up my prescriptions so I went back a few minutes later and talked to another Woman behind the register and she said it would take 45 minutes so I waited for three hours and they didn't even have the main prescription I was looking for and didn't tell me until after I waited three hours... very rude. I also noticed this girl made a few other customers angry and a few them left in the three hours that I sat there. I really want to call the corporate office and explain to them how rude and unprofessional staff was and how that costed them a little over 30,000 year for my prescriptions totally disgusted read more

Average CVS. Extra care @ cash register didn't recognize my phone number and you have to do a figure 8 to get in the driveway from highway. Other than this it's ok read more

CVS on Colonial Heights Blvd across from WaWa has the very worst service of any business I have ever been to. I have been getting prescriptions filled here for several years since our insurance company switched to a program using Caremark through CVS only. They are supposed to be set up on auto refill after a year of agony over the auto fill never working I gave up. Another issue is that when it is time for my refill they never have enough pills in stock. So they give me a couple to hold me over which requires me to have to make 2 trips. There is a high turnover rate and it appears they hang on to very bad employees and run the good ones away. Cindy was the very best employee they had and the only reason we stayed as we would speak with her personally for refills and some how when she assisted there were never any issues. She is the only one who would give a courtesy call to let me know they did not have enough pills for the refill and when they would be ready. My insurance has changed and we no longer have to use Caremark. I am very thankful because since Cindy left it has become even worse. The last straw was after years of trying to be set up on auto fill I receive a call out of the blue advising I have a prescription ready for pick up. I called to check on which medication this was and the employee took my name and dob to pull up my record. She said I was not in the system maybe I was calling the wrong pharmacy was I sure it was CVS. As politely as I could muster I advised that as I mentioned I am returning the call, I was left a VM and I have been using this CVS for years. She said I don't know what to tell you but we have no Pat Wright with that birthday(Pat is not my name). I told her my name again and spelled it she said that is not what I said the first time. Rather than arguing with her that I did not mis-pronounce my own name and that she may have not heard it correctly I just simply asked her which medication was available? She placed me on hold for 5 min when she finally came back to the phone she said it actually was not ready they were out of that one it would be 2 days before they would have them. She said would you like me to order them. I politely said no thank you! I took my refill bottle to Walgreens and the pharmacist called CVS right away to get it transferred and not surprisingly he was informed the computer system was down he would have to call back later. Fortunately not all CVS's are as bad as this one. The Walgreen pharmacist was able to call another location to complete the transfer. I have had no problems with refills or auto fill since switching. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - Colonial Heights, Virginia

I agree whole-heartedly with the 1st/only review. My girlfriend and I always have issues with the prescription services. They are very overpriced, their medications are frequently out of stock, and they change their policies depending on who's working. Their non-pharmacy staff are horrible; except Vicki, she's the most decent out of the remaining staff. They used to have a younger woman who worked nights/evenings, she was the only personable employee there and would go above and beyond for the customers. Along the same lines of the other review; they seemingly scare away their valuable employees. The older woman Janet is extremely condescending and makes it clear through her tone, choice of words, and body language when she is annoyed with something (I have both observed and personally experienced this several times). Jessica doesn't engage customers frequently and is generally apathetic towards every visible aspect of her job, she also has no tolerance when it comes to questions about sales/coupons/CVS card, etc. Don't go here if you can avoid it. read more

Sadly, this is one of the few 24 hour pharmacies in the area. The pharmacists and staff are extraordinarily unprofessional and incompetent. They are rude to patients and doctors offices. On more than one occasion, I have gotten the wrong medication. My provider has had them fax her AT HOME as they do not bother to get correct information. Unfortunately, complaints to the regional manager go uncorrected. It's worth the drive to Walgreens, or waiting until a professional pharmacy is available. Definitely suggest another pharmacy. read more

This is absolutely the worst pharmacy chain. Our insurance makes us use CVS pharmacies and I have tried both in Colonial Heights and both are horrible!! Rude pharmacy staff, I have actually been hung up on by the pharmacist. Slowest service, RX's are never ready on time or you have to wait a long time to get it filled. Now all of a sudden they have a different last name on my account even though I have been getting the same RX filled there for 2 years. My Dr's office has even told me how no one answers the phone when they call. The drive thru is just as slow. Extremely rude staff and just terrible service and prices. CVS needs to make some big changes. I work at a local hospital and I know customer service in healthcare is changing and it is how healthcare facilities are going to get reimbursement and CVS needs to adjust. Please give your employees Code of Conduct lessons. Terrible, again I only use this CVS because of its proximity to my house and that I am made to by my ins company. read more
