I've had prescriptions filled at this location for over a year when I was in town for business multiple timed during the year. Sometimes I would get lucky and they would be in a good mood. Most of the time they were not in a good mood and were rude.
Over the course of a year I had these problems with my prescriptions and the staff.
1. Too long to fill the order. The worst waiting time was an 1 hour and 15 minutes. I've used CVS in major cities and never had that kind of waiting time. I had complained a few times about customer service to them. I really believe my punishment for asking for equal treatment was to wait longer for scripts when I came in. A passive aggressive way of handling complaints. When I first starting filling scripts over a year ago there It was a 15 min wait. I don't believe all the nations sick moved to this particular town just to congest the pharmacy line.
2. Confusing prescriptions and my insurance information. I had them more than once tell me my insurance would not cover or denied the claim. When I contacted my insurance they would tell me there was no problems. I would return the next day to CVS and it was "magically" fixed when a different pharmacist was on duty. Proving there are some pharmacists that do not know what they are doing working at this store
3. My prescription amount was changed at the store without telling me. I was given less of the medication I was prescribed by my doctor at this location. Then I noticed they changed the amount of medication prescribed on my refill info too. I contacted both my doctor and my insurance to make sure I was covered. My doctor confirmed that I was prescribed more than what CVS gave me. My insurance confirmed they would cover the original prescription amounts my doctor prescribed. I had been taking this amount each month for the past eight years. This is the reason I stopped going to CVS. I contacted an attorney about suing CVS for defrauding and changing my prescription. I was quickly informed that because I didn't suffer any health problems the laws protect CVS. So, they get this honest review instead.
Please avoid this CVS at all costs. The only positive experience was a young guy working on the floor in the department side of CVS. He was always down to earth and friendly. That guy gets 5 stars.. The store itself -Minus three stars!! read more
