Fairly quick visit to the One-Minute Clinic for a triple kicker of vaccines. I scheduled my vaccines via the Aetna site, and at CVS's recommendation, added the TDAP to my Covid and Flu vax list. Got a text reminder, and arrived 10 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Check in was prompt and I only waited maybe two minutes before I received my vaccines. The tech recommended two on one arm, and one on the other, made small talk, stuck me, stuck three colorful bandaids on me, gave me a coupon, and sent me on my way. I asked about payment and he said my insurance covered it. Sweet. That's all there really was to it. No fuss, no wait, no rude employees. Just quick, efficient, and pleasant. Just moved to the area and this CVS is convenient. Went in today to move my prescriptions from out of state to local and they were fabulous! Very nice staff and super helpful. Travelled from out of state to San Antonio for the holidays with the family. Minute clinic is supposed to close at 7:30 pm. I arrived before 7 and she already stopped seeing patients. There was no one else in line or on the list. I travelled 11 miles from my family's home. I pleaded with her because I was very sick and needed to know if what I had was contagious etc. she had no sympathy and did not care at all. This is very off putting in a "supposed" healthcare professional. I usually resort to the minute clinic for earaches and minor infections. Luckily my health insurance had information on a local urgent care clinic that was closer to my family's home and had a more professional sincere demeanor. read more

Came in on a Saturday 4:45pm seeking a very simple test, the person at the minute clinic was lazy an unwilling to help because they were closing at 5:30pm and I would need to schedule an appointment for tomorrow.. We went there to get a passport picture for my toddler. When you walk in, no one seems to want to help you. We walked closer to the photo counter and that's when a tall, thin, bleach blonde guy had no other option but to say "can i help you?" I then asked "yes, im looking to get a passport picture done" he said "OF WHO!?" In a loud condescending tone while staring at my toddler who I was carrying. When I said "of her" he promptly, without me being able to say anything else, yelled "ABSOLUTELY NOT" he continued yelling at me and lecture me on how young my daughter is (she is almost two and was cool calm and collected) and therefore they don't offer those services. Told me I needed to hire a professional, while continuing to be condescending and making hand gestures for us to leave. I told him he needed to change his approach and be polite to people, that he didn't need all the extra "sas" and that I clearly didn't know, otherwise I would have not gone there" Funny thing is, my friend and his wife went to cvs to get a passport of their 8month old at another location and they were nothing but nice to them. I guess it depends on the location you go to. Definitely do not go to this one so Mr CVS can embarrass you. Even though I was recommended CVS, I will not recommend it to anyone. Longest wait ever for a prescription that was sent in since 3pm today!!! Sat in the drive thru for 30 minutes before we were able to have anyone inside acknowledge us. Pharmacist comes to window after ringing the call button 4 times!! Only to wait another 10-15 minutes- I understand being understaffed or busy but you can at least let the people waiting know that you will be with them shortly or your experiencing a long wait time, etc. etc.!! I went in at 5:30 to get a prescription and they couldn't find it. They finally found it at exactly 6:00 but they wouldn't give it to me because they close at 6:00. Not only is it not my fault they took long but it was one pill they could have handed to me. I would understand if i went in to pick it up at 6:00 and they were closed when i arrived but that's not what happened. They were also super rude. read more

They've been pretty good with sending me text messages when my prescriptions are ready, and contacting my Dr. for refills, but if you have to speak with the pharmacist (a thin Asian man) I don't know his name, he is rude ! I've been a customer for at least 20 yrs. I pay for my Extra Care card, I called after visiting the Drive-Thru to ask if they could input my Health Ins. info to see if my meds were covered, since they missed the correct info when I went in person, and he said they were too busy. He was also rude to my sister from out of town whom I recommended CVS to. They also have expired over-the-counter medication. I think I will be taking my business elsewhere. I never write negative reviews about any company, but this time I've had it. I've asked him about instructions about medication and he tells me to read the label. If he doesn't like his job, he should quit. I will update my review when I have his name. This is the CVS pharmacy on West Ave in Castle Hills. I hate this location. I went to pick up my prescription, which they were supposed to call HEB and switch for me. The only reason I switched was because HEB does not fill 90 day prescriptions anymore. They told me they would call and transfer everything over even my insurance information. I showed up to pick up my medicine. There was only 1 car at the window and I still waited about 30 minutes. When I got to the window I told the guy my information and he walked away for about 10 minutes. He came back and told me it was going to cost $120 plus. I was shocked. The medicine I was getting with my insurance is always $0. I couldn't believe that. I asked him about my insurance and he told me I didn't have any. I just stared at him and tried to hand him my insurance information and he walked away without taking it. I waited for almost another 10 minutes when the pharmacist came over. I was already so angry at this point and told her that she needed to enter my insurance info so I can get my medicine and leave. She finally did it and gave me my medicine. This was one of the worst experiences of my life. Very unprofessional. I will never be back. read more

If only I can give this place negative stars. I went in to pick up a prescription for omeprazole which you can purchase over the counter for about $15-20 dollars. I paid $169.99 out of my own pocket, talk about outrages robbery price! I thought it was kind of high but just went ahead and paid for it. I called target the next day and they told me it was $34.99 for the prescription plus you can get more discounts on top of it. I'm very disappointed I feel ripped off and taken advantage of. If this isn't resolve I am never going to cvs again. This comes down to principle for me I don't run a business raping people with that kind of pricing. They can keep the 130 they successful robbed me for and I'll take all my business else where. read more

My adult son took a paper prescription to this pharmacy FOUR days in advance to ensure that he would get this prep liquid as instructed by a doctor. The pharmacist told my son to return on Monday and she would have the medication ready... He did as asked, and was told she would have to reorder so as to have enough of it. He reiterated to her that he had to have the Prep material by Tuesday evening in order to take it before his early morning surgery Wed. Would you believe that rude woman would not even speak to him ?!?? He went in as expected, and the female pharmacist once again did not have the medication! And she did not even have the courtesy to call him, nor to speak an apology. No, she made a regular young adult Clerk tell him she didn't have it. My son was very upset and proceeded to go to four different pharmacies to get the medication, which he finally got at The HEB on de Zavala and I10. He said he will never again fill any prescription for himself nor his wife and their three kids at that CVS. He will transfer every medication to H-E-B. i made it very clear to cvs to no longer fill any meds for me i had to go over this with 4 different people because i kept getting automated voice mails that never stopped. i got one call at 2 am. i was furious and called to get off there list that calls constantly to tell you have meds coming up or something is ready. i have never wasted so much time trying to end this nuisance i will never go back to any cvs if i need an immediate pharmacy i will go where i can get quick and efficient service to walgreens cvs is helpful when you start but if you want to leave BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
