This is a nice Walgreens. I get my prescriptions here. My only negative is that it desperately needs a makeover! The first impression is YUK! The floors are AWFUL! Those patchy, dirty-looking cement floors makes you think of a store you might find in a low income, sketchy neighborhood. We are not that! We should go in and find clean, shiny floors. It would set the tone for a more upscale shopping experience. I'll take pics the next time I go in. read more

Excellent customer service! I used my mom's phone number for the transaction and for some reason she opted for digital receipts. I asked the attendant Frank if he could help me acquire a receipt and he asked the other manager on duty and she printed it up for me. I hated to be a pain but they seriously hooked me up. Very good spot to have this location, the place is very hard to miss. The outside was clean, the inside is clean. The selection of items is amazing. They have almost every brand selection! I would actually prefer to give this, no stars. I had a doctors appointment yesterday he upped the dosage of mine, and for some reason Hermann Walgreens always have trouble communicating.. I called this morning, asking about my medication's and asked if he did upped the dosage. Ordered some thing get lost in translation as it always seems to when dealing with Walgreens and I got laughed at and then hung up on. I live five minutes from Walgreens though, so I drove there. Besides Debbie it was completely unprofessional. The woman who hung up on me, never even gave me her name. I asked "Debbie" isn't that part of your policy when answering your phone? Also who cares if I was crazy and wrong if that ain't even been, the situation is still don't hang up on customers. The customer is always right and if you can't handle that you don't need to be in customer service and you sure as hell should be messing with peoples medication's specially if you're going to hang up on them when they're trying to ask you questions. Most people I know have trouble with this wall greens and I highly advise you to go at your own risk because they don't know what they're doing their impolite don't hang up on you and you'll never get your prescriptions . One time they told me my doctor never called it in two weeks later I went by and they told me we've been waiting for you to pick this up for two weeks and I told them but I've been calling you for two weeks and you keep saying it's not ready. If you want a pharmacy like that, then this is the one for you but if you want a pharmacy that cares about you and doesn't want to screw you over and doesn't hang up on you try HEB. read more

I would give this location 5 stars but when you have a lady who is working the register, upset... it kind of makes you not want to come back, ever! I'm assuming the person who left a comment before me (about a month ago from out of town) is referring to the same lady with a mask. Myra. Even after asking her how her day was going, she managed to answer with a negative response "oh lots to do" and didn't even both to ask her customers how they're day was... customer service is key and sadly this is not the first time I've experienced Myra. :( read more

Pharmacist at this Walgreens refused to fill my doctors prescription for ivermectin. When asked why, the pharmacist said "ivermectin doesn't work, and we don't want the responsibility ". I'm confused as to what the pharmacist is talking about? Why would a pharmacist over rule my doctors prescription? I am also a doctor and this type of pharmacist really makes Walgreens look pretty bad. BTW I went across the street and CVS at Target filled it immediately. Their pharmacist could not have been sweeter. I highly recommend to not trade at the Walgreens on bitters. Not the kind of pharmacist you want for your healthcare. Walgreens might want to require more c.e. so their pharmacists can stay up to date. read more

Whoever you are in the Walgreens pharmacy that I spoke to on the phone today, let's just say you are an angel sent from above! I couldn't reach my Dr. For my refill on meds and even though it was a loop around to try and get them in, she still went out of her way to directly contact the Dr. I seriously felt at a loss and it's very Important meds I needed so I really appreciated the goodness and kindness she gave me to help me out! read more

This is a fairly new Walgreens that moved from a location across the street. I really like how the inside has a refreshed modern look. It's a bit tricky to enter into this location, so I consider it a neighborhood Walgreens with a close connection to the 281 highway. The entrances on Heimer are like giant bridge ramps, so watch out if you have a low rider! On the other hand, ample parking is available despite the tight looking location. The pharmacy as usual is in the back corner and the other corner houses the clearance section. The cashier staff always greets and welcomes you in the store no matter how busy they are. It feels like a family owned store instead of a big box retailer. The employees stop to say hello and also ask you if you need help. The pharmacy itself is decent, with average wait times and great staff. I love going through the store since it's very bright and clean. read more

Since when does Walgreens on bitters charge you 2 times for Same prescription I am elderly and disabled I live alone on a social security retirement I don't get any help from anyone and the money I have left over is for groceries Walgreens has taken some of my grocery $$ I didn't know Walgreens was in the habit from stealing money from elderly disabled woman !!! read more

I placed a "same day" photo order a month ago and just today (exactly 4 weeks later) got an email notification that the order was cancelled. I've ordered photos from other walgreens around town and every other one was able to print on the same day. Not sure why this one was unable to do the same. read more

We are from out of town so we asked a simple question "do my rewards still work even though we arent from here?" Pharmacy is horrible. I have had some mistakes made with my prescriptions. One of the pharmacist was very rude. And contradicts what my doctor told me and what another pharmacist told me. Stay away from there. Will never go back read more

I love Walgreens because they are a small store and have just about everything I need. Prices for some things are generally high but it is like a gas station convenience store as well. This store is conveniently located off US HWY 281 about a block away. It's clean on the inside, and there is plenty of parking. The only problem with the parking lot is if you are coming off the highway, you have to make a left on to Heimer Rd., and then a right into the parking lot. The harder option is to go through Heimer Rd. and make a left and there can be cross traffic blocking the entrance. Like other Walgreens, their pharmacy is located in the far back corner, so you must walk all the way through the store to get your meds. The company would like for you to also pick up a bunch of other random things too on your way back there or on your way out the door. Oh well... The staff provide average and adequate service. Not super amazing, but also not disappointing. read more

Shocking "service" from the pharmacy today. Dropped my Rx in at 9.30am and went back for it at 12.05pm. Sat for 30 mins in the drive-thru line while being ignored by staff inside. They didn't even apologize for the delay. If you can't service the drive-thru, then close it temporarily. Wasted half my precious lunch hour at this lousy location read more

This Walgreens has the battery selection I was looking for. I needed 3 small disc type batteries and they were well stocked with all varieties. This was my second stop. First attempt at a Walmart found their inventory in a paltry state. Thank you Walgreens! read more
