Love that this place is open 24 hours!! My go to for a lot of household and personal items I need quickly. The rewards program is pretty good and they always have great deals on vitamins. Cons: lines are usually long to check out, it's hard to find a shopping cart, and they seem to always be out of certain makeup items..need to be better stocked in the makeup aisles. read more

The store might be open 24 hours, but the pharmacy is not. Just called to ask the pharmacist a question and got a recording saying the pharmacy was closed. Hours need to be updated on here because I would hate to see someone come from the ER with a prescription for a sick child at 2am thinking the pharmacy was open as stated on here only to find that its not. read more

The pharmacy staff there needs to improve there customer service skills. They are unfriendly and although they have more than enough staff available they are very slow. I had to wait for 20min before someone would help me. Very disappointed. read more

The pharmacist, Lillian Sultan, is rude, mean, condescending and is the worst pharmacist I've ever come across... avoid if necessary.

They never have prescriptions ready on time. They tell you 15 min you are waiting an hour. Drop it off tell them you will come back 2 hours later it's still not ready. Their people that work there are rude and not helpful. read more

CVS Pharmacy......If you have a lot of extra time on your hands or interested in testing your patience, then this would be the place to go. Lines for service at the pharmacy are too long as they seem short on help. I have dropped off prescriptions to be filled and given them one/two day lead times and they still aren't done. I can't tell you how many times I have picked up prescriptions only to find out that I have received the wrong dosage marked incorrectly on the bottle. If I had options with my insurance, I would definitely use another pharmacy. In fairness to the employees, I really think that they cause of the majority of the issues is that they are understaffed and overworked. When they have long lines or have made mistakes, they are usually nice and apologetic. read more

The pharmacy staff is horrible! very unprofessional. I dropped off a prescription at 9am, the guy told me it would take about half hour. However, when he entered it in the system, he got a message that it was denied by my insurance, so he said he was going to call me later. i calle hours later, the other pharmacist said she was going to find out why. Still waited another a coupole of hours. Then i called my insurance, they tell me the reason why, which could be handled by getting the authorization from the doctor. I called the doctor and they said that the pharmacist needs to call. So it was their job to call, instead, i'm calling around. I called cvs again and tell them what happened. the person who answered said...uhhh??! puts me on hold. This could have been handled long time ago, or at least keep me communicated. But no! avoid this pharmacy!!! read more

The location is odd, there are like 6 CVS in the city and this is the worst. My friend bought a 12pack of Sam Adams Boston Lager and it was past due in December of 2012. That means that 12 pack sat in their fridge for two months and not one employee looked at it once. I will go to one of the other CVS in the area. read more

Why is one star even offered? My experience tonight with the CVS pharmacy was among the worst customer service experiences of my life. First, while waiting in a line of 1 for ten minutes, I observed the guy who seemed to be directing traffic in the pharmacy to reply to a very kind gentleman who apparently had been waiting for some time for his prescription when he observed that they seemed busy and asked if he should he come back that "oh, I thought they told you it was ready." He then shrugged and made no effort to assist the man with the getting the prescription. The man looked shell shocked at the clerk's response. Then, when it was my turn, I explained to the intake guy that I had scheduled an appointment online for two vaccinations. This guy was helpful, looking into the system. Unfortunately, I had left the email confirmation of my appointment at home. He couldn't find anything, then asked the traffic director (he could be an actual pharmacist, I don't know) how to access the online appointments. The TD immediately insisted "we are not set up to do that" to which I responded I had received a confirmation online. I asked if they had the vaccines on site and he said yes. Then, TD said loudly, " I AM NOT DOING IT! I DON'T HAVE THE STAFF!!! I AM SHUTTING THIS DOWN!!!" Oh my gee, I wasn't asking for an illegal injection, just the shingles and pneumonia vaccine that I had signed up for online! I left saying "okay, I get it." I would have understood if they were busy, couldn't find my confirmation, really anything except the shear rudeness. I actually found myself in tears having been treated so poorly. CVS, are you paying attention? You have a problem in Camarillo. You have lost my business! Having said that, in April of last year your pharmacy department all but saved my husband's life when you were able to locate the life saving medication he needed that couldn't be located by several other area pharmacies. I had faith in you based on this. But tonight, all bets are off. My recommendation is that you need to look closely at your current staff. read more

I've been using CVS pharmacy all over Southern California, and this one is the worst. The staff (all with the exception of that red hair guy) are beyond rude and incompetent. They messed up my child's prescription TWICE and if I didn't notice it things could have ended up much worse. They did not take any responsibility for they're action which just proves how concern they are of they're customers well being. They told me my insurance wouldn't cover my medience but after calling the doctors and my insurance provider, I found out they did (they just failed to check). CVS is a good pharmacy provider, it just depends on the location. This one must be a training school one because they have no idea what they're doing. My sister and I had to go into CVS tonight, Christmas Eve, and the line was very, very long (15 people maybe) with only two cashiers working. We thought it would take forever, but the line moved quite fast and upon getting to the check stand, we saw exactly why. There was a cashier named Tamon who was ringing up people on two registers at one time. Upon greeting me with a smile and answering the ringing phone with what was obviously the required opening (including something about flu shots), he simultaneously rang up both my sister and I on two different registers and managed to wish us both a wonderful night, all while taking care of the customer on the phone. Working in customer service for 10 years myself, I can't believe how calm, collected and kind he was tonight. I would like to say that I could handle that situation myself, but I would probably have broken down. Thank you Tamon for spreading the Christmas spirit in the most stressful of situations and for being there tonight to help me purchase something of the uttermost importance. And thank you CVS for hiring such an amazing person. Please don't ever take him for granted!! read more
