After they raised the gates at 2:00 to come back from lunch I started to check in at the screens. Janea came over and told me that she would assist me. Night and day from the Clinton, MD location where I was witnessed to someone pointing at an elderly lady and telling them to "check in by using the big screen". All but one of my medications was there and one was found on the floor and Jay (I assume the pharmacist from white coat) went and found it for me. This is how things should be done. They just did their job but customer service is terrible at the other CVS Pharmacy locations I had to say something. read more

Very frustrating experience with this CVS location. My prescription has been pending since May 20, and I have called, texted, emailed, and followed up multiple times with no clear answer. Yesterday, I was told it would be ready for pickup today. Today, I was told it was not ready and had not even been ordered. This is exactly the ongoing issue: inconsistent information, poor communication, and no accountability. Since moving near this location, I have had repeated monthly problems with prescriptions showing as ready, delayed, out of stock, or handled as if there is no history. I also reviewed other Google reviews for this location and saw that other customers are describing similar issues. This confirms that my experience is not isolated and that there appears to be a pattern CVS management needs to address. Patients should not have to chase basic updates for important medication. read more

Monday, 18 Oct 2021 at 1253 PM, I attempted to get my flu shot administered at CVS Pharmacy, 7035 Indian Head Highway, Bryans Road, MD and was told that in spite of the bright yellow sign posted all over the pharmacy/store (also attached) stating: "Veteran $0 Flu Shots | THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE" I was told by the very rude and dismissive pharmacy attendant that CVS does not accept TRICARE (Military Health Insurance). Pointing to the yellow sign, I asked why would that be necessary if in fact it is "free?" To which she kept on being dismissive and rudely stated: "I don't know about that... we don't accept TRICARE. Try Safeway or Giant." CAVEAT EMPTOR: I am posting this to alert other Veterans like myself who have served honorably, to not be fooled by false advertising such as these. CVS's misleading signs coupled with the worst customer service are a prime example as such. I hope these noted issues will provide an awareness to let others know what they are up against. I am very disappointed and wish CVS would remove the sign or honor its commitment as outlined thereof, as the two are contradictive and are not attributive to good business practices. read more

I'd like to report a positive response of my experience today with this CVS. After my awful experience yesterday with Koby (On Duty Pharmacist) on getting my second COVID-19, I was told to return today which I did. I was met with the most wonderful, pleasant and professional (Pharmacist On Duty) Ugo Ahubelem who apologized for what I went through yesterday on trying to get my scheduled second COVID-19 vaccine. Ugo's customer service was exceptional. I really appreciated his kind and caring words with such a serious issue with dealing with this pandemic He should be recognized as the true face of outstanding customer service. I'll be sending a letter to CVS Corporate. Ugo truly deserves more than 5 stars. read more

Navigating the Heath care in today's environment is difficult enough. We all know how hard this has become. Blaming our terrible Heath care on Covid is ridiculous. Truth be told we are headed for such a disaster, recovery may take decades. After you see your doctor no matter what the speciality, primary care, neurologist, urologist, endocrinologist you wind up with a prescription. Trusting your pharmacist to complete your order and or educate you regarding the medication. Instead you leave without checking to see if everything is complete. Heading home and at 10 minutes before the pharmacy closes. Arriving at the door opening the bag and realizing you are missing the main part of your prescription. You frantically call back and after being hung up on 4 times he answers. You question him about your prescription because you can't take the insulin without , "THE NEEDLES" My goodness does he think I can drink it? Why would you give someone injectable medication without some way to administer it? His answer "Well your doctor didn't give you a prescription for that, but you can buy them lots of places they're expensive." What kind of pharmacist are you that you would do 1/2 the job then say such a stupid thing? Just remember who you will be dealing with at this Pharmacy. read more

I wish I could rate negative scores so I guess a one star will do. This is the worse CVS on the planet. Not only are they slow, understaffed and dirty they often have empty shelves. Building a new location did not help they need a total management revamp along with better staff. The only thing good I can say is they have a great red box location outside other than that It's a total waist of time to visit this location keep driving. read more

I would give this pharmacy 0 stars. This is the slowest pharmacy ever. Anytime myself or a family member put a prescription in we were waiting hours. They tell you x amount of time and take z amount of time. Always backed up. I have probably come in here one time and got my prescription in a reasonable amount of time. The worst. They need new staff or something because something is apparently not working right back there. read more

I have never been to a worse CVS in my life. If you call in a prescription be prepared for a long wait to pick up. I have called corporate to complain numerous times about this store and nothing is ever done. It seems the pharmacy staff changes like you change underwear. If you call them on the phone they will ask you the same information over and over, long hold times to even speak to someone in the pharmacy, and most of my prescriptions they can never find them when I arrive. read more

Good location, nice folks. I think things have gotten better at this location over time. The only thing I wish is that the 2nd drive-through for the pharmacy would be operational (or taken away completely to avoid confusion and lost time). There is a young lady who works at the pharmacy who is always really nice, and there is a man in the photo department who went out of his way to take the perfect passport photo for me. They have a nice selection of items, and sometimes have some great sales! So overall, I would rate this CVS fairly good! read more

Terrible, Terrible, Terrible, which is really sad to say because it is conveniently located for people who live in the immediate area. For some reason every time, not just one time, but every time I have my doctor call in a prescription, they never have it!! They have gotten no calls or messages?? We are talking about different doctors. The same thing has happened to my mother, so she has to always bring the written prescription in because they never have it. I don't understand. You call in your prescription ahead of time so that you don't have to wait or to minimize the wait. I have also had issue with them not carrying commonly prescribed antibiotics. I'm sure the only reason people tolerate such poor service is because of the location. read more

It's been almost a year if not more than a year since I've been in this CVS. I think the bad reviews and phone calls to corporate to complain have paid off because I have now been to this cvs 3 times in the last month and service has improved tremendously. I have to go back when they refill my latest call in. If that goes well I will give a better review but I have no complaints now with service, timeliness (in fact they told me they needed an hour to fill one script and I got a call that it was ready before I got home and I live 15 minutes away). Im looking forward to today/tomorrow's experience and hope it's as good as the last three. Whatever changes CVS made has definitely made a difference in BRyans Road. read more

Very long wait time, bad customer service. Staff is not helpful and act like you are bothering them.

Really a poor location to use. Pharmacy staff (3 pharmacy workers on my visit) less than interested in serving you much less in assisting you with a script problem. Prior to visit I called on the phone and went to hold queue which is ok. After five minutes someone answered long enough to TELL me to hold on without even asking if I could and never came back to the phone. After 10 more minutes on hold I hung up. I expect some delays when ever I visit any CVS pharmacy but this is the epitome of bad! This entire unit needs a change of store management and a fresh crew in the pharmacy. I do agree with other observations that the store's interior, although relatively new, looks "unclean" and poorly stocked. I think that the insurance carriers need to get involved. If we are going to be "forced" patrons to get our medications at these chain locations then insurance carriers should also mandate minimum staffing and maximum wait times for their members. It seems the savings of the drug costs are being gained by reduced services and less labor in the pharmacy and increased customer wait times and overall client dissatisfaction. I really hope that what I experienced yesterday is only a local phenomena but I fear it is systemic across the chain. Oh yes and remember you are PAYING to be treated this way, they are not giving you anything free but a lousy experience. read more
