Worst customer service ever at the pharmacy. The pharmacists can barely spell, which begs the question -- how many people were given the wrong medication? The lines are slower than at any other drug store I've ever been in and the pharmacists will ignore you to your face for minutes at a time while they file things or look things up, very slowly. Do NOT go to the pharmacy. They are always slow and disorganized. There have been many times that they said the wait would be 15 mins, but I've waited double the time. Even when they call me that my prescription is ready, they can't find it when I show up to pick it up. And now they gave me double the mgs on my pills and I didn't notice until after I took one and had a bad reaction. I've been going there for years bc it's close, but I won't be going back. read more

I called to transfer my 12 prescriptions to this pharmacy as it is very convenient. I waited on hold for 10 minutes (no exaggeration--on the clock 10 minutes) for someone to pick up. She picked up, said "please hold" and was gone for another 4 (no exaggeration) minutes. I got half a sentence out of my mouth and she rudely just put me on hold again. I was then disconnected! The WORST service ever. I will never order any photo from here EVER again. I ordered photos online to be picked up at the store the following day at the earliest time possible. Apparently my order was not processed and I have to wait here for 10-15 minutes when I need to be at an audition. They were rude, and unhelpful and did not care. If was THEIR fault that my order did not process and I made SURE to have everything ready prior to be on time for my audition. SO disappointed. DO NOT go to this store for anything. read more

I could write a book about this poorly run excuse of a store, but I only have five minutes. Used to live around the corner from it, so went there often for conveinence;right. Usually ended up with a headache instead of conveinence. The entire place - but especially the pharmacy - leaves you feeling like you've been hit with a bat. Rude or disinterested service, rotating managers (no one seems to stay there more than a few months, lucky them), intersecting lines at pharmacy and front that leave customers arguing, while employess disappear instead of resolving situations. The pharmacy is a joke - longest lines, mis counts on pills, etc., and it takes hours to get through to them to fill a perscription. Forget about the drive thru downstairs, then againj at least you son't have to wait in the mega-lines. Now I'm in mid-wilshire and looking forward to finding a great drug store, but based on reviews here on Yelp I might have to go all the way downtown. Listen up dumb retailers: I WILL PAY DOUBLE FOR GOOD SERVICE. One or two employees are friendly, but usually this CVS is the classic example of customer service being dead in America. Short side note: A few years back, they actually hired a manager here that had the place turned around almost overnight. I thought, wow, one person in charge can really make a positive difference. He lasted about a month, and then it was back to the status quo. Another side note: I once was in this place and discovered a semi-nude young woman and what looked like a much-older sugar daddy walking the aisles. I transferred my prescriptions from here to the lovely folks at Roxbury Pharmacy years ago, I would suggest anyone in the area do the same. This week I purchased some Mucinex D for congestion I was dealing with. I found it cheaper some place else and tried to return the box, unopened. They told me they don't accept returns for OTC medicines, unopened or not. This seemed odd to me and I looked up the CVS return policy when I got back to the office, totally untrue. I take responsibility for having ever returned in the first place. read more

Someone needs to check the staff at the pharmacy. Long wait times for no reason (put on hold on the phone for 30 min for a simple refill), attitude and no manners from the employees, and lack of understanding what the customer is there for (got the wrong type of prescription given to me). Managers need to do a training session or clean up the staff. Simply ridiculous. Not going to his pharmacy again and others should avoid it too. read more

I am still finding this important location to be the only place in the free world I know where you can still experience what life must have been like in communist Russia. Long lines always, (often you have to stand in three separate lines) the slow service, tiresome bureaucracy, poor tech systems, inconsistent merchandising even though the pharmacist are very nice. read more

Up front is decent. Great selection of product and staff is nice up front. However, the pharmacy is so bad it takes it all down to a single star. I don't care how nice or not nice the staff is. But at least acknowledge your customers. I don't know who hired these people, but they do not want customers. They make you feel like your are interrupting them. I don't normally use this CVS for pharmacy because of this. But, sometimes you don't have a choice. Buyer beware. You might get lucky and catch them on a good day. read more

NO CVS is any good, but this one is particularly horrible. Indifferent or nasty help (do they hire them based on their not being able to stand people) and worse yet, like a lot of other people who have written reviews, I've been given the wrong prescriptions just because my name sounds like someone else's. With the unemployment rate being what it is, one would think they could hire competent, friendly people. read more

The worst pharmacy in town. I had switched to a different pharmacy, but had to use this one for longer opening hours. 45 minutes on hold just to find out if my prescription was ready. Rudeness on the phone and zero customer service. Then I was cut off and had to call again. Just a reminder why I would NEVER go back there. I can't see how this CVS has all these negative reviews! When I went in to get my prescription filled I was greeted by a younger Asian pharmacist who was extremely nice and polite and told me that my prescription would be ready in 15 mins. I came back 20 mins later and my prescription was waiting for me. The Asian pharmacist explained to me how and when to take the medication and was nice, sweet and smiled throughout the entire conversation. My husband had a minor surgery and on the way home from the hospital, we stopped into this CVS to pick up his four prescriptions. I had made sure the nurse called and faxed the prescriptions in 2 hours before we were discharged, to be sure that we didn't have to wait. I got there and of course, they had no record of the prescriptions. In my experience accross various pharmacies, this is par for the course. The reason I am writing in - I rarely leave a review of anything, is the response I got to the exhausted, sleep-deprived, on-the-verge-of-tears, incredulous look I must have been sporting. The pharmacist was Golda, she took one look at me and said "get me the prescription." I went to the car, gave it to her, and fewer than 5 minutes later had 4 prescriptions filled and was walking out the door. It was the most incredible customer service response, totally unexpected, and tremendously appreciated. This is not my regular pharmacy, but Golda saw a person in need and really went out of her way to accommodate. Thank you Golda, you have an appreciative fan. read more

This place is a joke. Staff are incompetent and unprofessional. Specifically two the take in person Denisse and another clerical person Dalia My physician called in a prescription at 8 am that wasn't even processed when I arrived at 11. They hadn't even tried to find me in the large CVS system. When she did she asked if it was for the same medication I picked up last week! Completely incompetent staff. As well as unpleasant. The pharmacy manager Farnese was actually arguing with a patient that she should call the manufacturer of a drug that came damaged. Then she argued with another customer about her insurance! The customer even had to tell her that that was her job since she's the manager!!! Lots of language barriers too with no attempt to try and listen to customers. This place put the death nail in my patronage of all CVS. I even got a call from CVS while in line that it was ready! read more

the people at the pharmacy were very rude. we asked one lady about a prescription we were supposed to pick up and without even looking on the computer said it wasn't ready. we needed to ask another woman who said it was ready and directed us towards the pick up line. when picking up the prescription the lady there did not smile once and had a very unwelcoming attitude. read more
