I was shown the area of the stockings, there were two brands and numerous choices and sizes. In a separate room, a young woman took measurements of my legs to make sure that I purchased the correct size in either the Jobst or Sigvaris stockings. With measurements in hand, Yusef diligently and patiently went through walls of stockings and picked out the ones I required per the prescription. When the cashier rang up purchase and my FSA card only accepted one stocking, Yusef quickly redid the purchase so that my FSA card would accept two stockings as written by the doctor and provided me with an extra receipt for my records. The stockings are definitely more expensive at the pharmacy than online. The extra cost was worth it knowing that I was measured for the correct size, time saved from having to search online and price compare, and manage receipts from an online store. All-in-all, top notch service! Further, the pharmacy is clean, well-organized and in addition to the usual pharmacy fare, also carries some hair accessories, "Butter" fingernail polish, unique skincare products, etc.

I just went to the prescription counter, picked up the medication and was on my way. My main complaint was the parking. The lot is off of busy Connecticut and the entrance ramp is somewhat steep. Parking is tight and sometimes full. I used to have my step-sister come with me so she could wait in the car in case I couldn't find a spot. More recently we have a dog on compounded medication for gastrointestinal issues. There was a little confusion about her prescription because it was first submitted by an emergency vet and then transferred to our regular vet. Staff was very helpful getting it straightened out. We also opted for delivery at a nominal fee and are so glad we did. It's easy, reliable and the medication is hung right on our front door knob. I must say for very long term prescriptions there are some very good mail order pharmacies that are less expensive.

We're not reviewing a beer garden, after all. That said, I've been going here for years and think they get unfairly maligned on yelp. Is it difficult or impossible to get through on the phone? Sure. But that's seems more of a corporate and staffing issue that's not unique to this location. If you show up here in person, you typically see the staff busily working and helping customers. They fills scripts in a timely manner, especially when they're critical (e.g., antibiotics), and especially if you show up and ask nicely. If you need a place with great phone availability, this isn't it. But if you need a pharmacy nearby that seems to work diligently and gets scripts right and with some speed, this usually does the trick.
