We considered driving back home for two hours to retrieve it , but first decided to Google pharmacies near Grand Rivers . We found McConnell Pharmacy. What a true pharmacy it is! They were able to call our local pharmacy and get his prescription information. Not only did they fill the medicine, they delivered it to our hotel! Phenomenal service... and for total strangers. Well beyond the call of duty, but we are eternally grateful to McConnell,,, We can't say enough how much we appreciate such great customer service!

That's why their pharmacy hours have decreased considerably. As to courtesy: I've been going here for 3+ years and the staff's behavior and courtesy have been exemplary. Apparently the nasty people either left or got fired. My scripts are filled quickly (consider their working load!) and have always been correct.

Unfortunately, my recent experience with one of the shift leads, Dee, was very disappointing. Back in February, I had an issue with some photo prints and simply asked if they could be resent so I could make a correction. Instead of helping, she was dismissive and rude throughout the interaction. Today (August 16, 2018) I needed to have an even exchange on a tube of lipstick. Kimberly who is the cosmetician remembered me specifically from my large purchase approximately a week ago. She was extra helpful in making the even exchange. The manager there also was courteous and friendly. Most every time I patronize this retail sales store, I have satisfaction. I am dependant on public transportation and family members to provide my trips there as a senior citizen. I especially like the fact that a portion of vitamin sales help third world country's children receive medical help and vaccines. Walgreens also offers 20 percent off on the first Tuesday of each month for senior citizens on most purchases and reward points. This helps many people on a fixed income, as myself.
