The Benbrook 7-11 staff is always very helpful and willing to chat for a few minutes while you're shopping around. Most importantly, I feel safe getting gas at this location. It was busy, there was only a few gas pumps open at the time, with a few vehicles circling the lot. Staff was ok, busy and a bit stand offish. Tho they do get you in and out quickly. Almost robotic. Younger lady with curly hair and glasses was AMAZING and (personally think) he should be demoted or fired and she should have his position once she's well trained by someone with patience and kindness. I witnessed an environment with no safety, peace, communication, kindness, or self control. A humiliation and dictatorship. He rolled his eyes at every costumer and didn't greet them with more than a finger point at where to check out. When i asked how his night was i was met with "TRYING to be good" while giving a very young and new employee a dirty look because she wanted to know how to help clean up. This should be UNACCEPTABLE in ANY work environment and that man should be NO ONES boss, if he is. At 5:15 a kid came out to give is our paperwork and told us the pharmacist isn't going to give us the flu shot today and to come back tomorrow. Dickies Arena is across the street. Inside, it's still old, a bit dusty, the aisles are tight and the space is small. I did find a few items that we out of date, matter of fact, on Twix bar I purchased was just past the date, but it had clearly been sitting a while. The staff is super nice and friendly. One of the gems is the little kitchen inside that serves breakfast burritos and lunch items from 7 am to 2 pm. The breakfast burritos are really good. They make them to order. Eggs, has browns, cheese, bacon.... and they cook a LOT of bacon. I came in one day and it was stacked up waiting to be cooked. The bacon is good, on the thinner side, tho still good. The burritos are on 12 inch tortillas and rolled up on all ends, filled really well. The green sauce that they make in house, is amazing! Working a project across the street, I saw a lot of locals as well as others come and go, from all demographics and both ends of the financial spectrum. The kitchen makes good food, and the staff is fabulous.

Get the chorizo or bacon burrito with the green salsa. It's a gas station. So dont expect much else.read more
