I'm bougie and I need a clean place that's aesthetically pleasing with clean bathrooms and good coffee. Heading back from Lubbock, I will drive on fumes to make it here to get what I want. It's not massive like the other place, but it's clean and it has a few hot food spots as well as a Dunkin for my coffee needs. The staff is beyond friendly and I always chat it up with them. My only complaint is that the squeegees outside to clean my windows is there, but they are never in any kind of cleaning solution. It's just sitting there dry. Driving almost 300 miles to get to this spot means the windows needs some serious cleaning. Despite that, this will always be my stop heading back to Houston until I hit my other favorite spot a few hours later!

It was busy, there was only a few gas pumps open at the time, with a few vehicles circling the lot. Staff was ok, busy and a bit stand offish. Tho they do get you in and out quickly. Almost robotic. Younger lady with curly hair and glasses was AMAZING and (personally think) he should be demoted or fired and she should have his position once she's well trained by someone with patience and kindness. I witnessed an environment with no safety, peace, communication, kindness, or self control. A humiliation and dictatorship. He rolled his eyes at every costumer and didn't greet them with more than a finger point at where to check out. When i asked how his night was i was met with "TRYING to be good" while giving a very young and new employee a dirty look because she wanted to know how to help clean up. This should be UNACCEPTABLE in ANY work environment and that man should be NO ONES boss, if he is. I was not aware that all Shells will accept your Kroger plus card phone number to get extra discounts on gas! So instead of getting just $0.05 off the pump price with the shell rewards, I was offered $0.10 off per gallon with my Kroger account. This shell location is a bit of a drive if you're near overton ridge blvd and want some cheap diesel. Otherwise get your regular gas from Costco or sam's club since they will have a better deal without the extra drive.
