I'm surprised I haven't reviewed my neighborhood CVS yet, but it just feels like this branch has so much potential but is totally mismanaged. On the plus side, it usually carries most, not all , of the personal items I need. It occasionally - well, at least in one instance - was able to fill a prescription I needed that Amazon Pharmacy could not. However, service is very inconsistent. Anyone who uses this pharmacy knows that the pharmacy lines can be ridiculously long. You usually cannot call the pharmacy, you have to leave a message. Employees are not always friendly or knowledgeable. And yesterday, I waited for a cashier in front of the store and, although there were employees all around who saw me, no one came to help. One employee started to come over and then got side tracked by something else. I tried to be patient but I eventually had to use a self-check out scanner. I've been with this CVS for years, but I think I'm gonna switch over to the much smaller XOXO Pharmacy across the street which my sister loves. 3 stars sounds about right for this CVS. read more

This new phone system is horrendous! You can't get a pharmacist on the phone you have to leave a message and they call back. To get a prescription refilled is beyond frustrating with this new system. Then I get a text saying we are working on your order and will let you know when it's ready and I never get another text. Not to mention the insane line to pick up. After reading the negative reviews, I had to come and leave my own review. I have been a Rite Aid pharmacy customer for many many years. As soon as Rite Aid closed and all our prescriptions were transferred over to CVS, I expected a horror show. But I have to give a shout out to every single person behind the Pharmacy counters. When I walked in for the first time to pick up a bunch of prescriptions, the line was very long. However, they had four people helping customers, and the line moved quickly. Each customer was greeted with a smile and a friendly tone, and the transaction was quick. Not once did they get upset, angry or frustrated with any customer even though it was very clear they could've. People are so angry and so quick to judge. You reap what you sow. If you go up to the counter and you start yelling or getting angry at these poor employees (as a few did), you're not gonna get very far with anyone. I expected a long wait and difficult time. I am very happy to say that I was completely wrong. Thanks, CVS for making the transition, smooth and easy! read more

Items on shelf are priced significantly higher than prices for same product on CVS's own website. They refuse to price match to THEIR OWN WEBSITE. I had to buy an item on my phone for pickup while standing at the register and received no receipt (which was important for this item). Charged a bag fee for a bag never received. Truly dystopian. Got emailed to do a survey. After the survey they linked me to review on google. The above is the same review I left on google and below is their garbage response. I live five minutes away by car from this location, as well as the one on Francis Lewis Blvd. I came here hoping to find my favorite Garnier Fructis Beach Chic spray but looks like they don't carry it. I looked up and down the aisle trying to find another brand that can create beach waves in my hair. Finally, I saw a bottle of Not Your Mother's Beach Babe Soft Waves Tropical Banana Sea Salt Spray and Google the ingredients to make sure I am not allergic to anything. Upon entering the store, you're usually greeted by a staff member. Download the app to access the coupons! The pharmacy itself usually has a pretty long line and now at around noon, they close the pharmacy for an hour so you have to plan around that Due to the ongoing pandemic and masks, I now pre-type my name and birthdate on my phone and show it to them instead of having to say it. If you picked up items around the store including snacks, you can purchase them at the same time as you pay for your medication. As opposed to other drugstores, you cannot go into a private room to get shots, you have to have it administered in front of the counter with a curtain around you. read more

This CVS Pharmacy has progressively gotten worse over the years since Covid. Their lines are always long, it takes forever for them to fill out a script on their own. It's faster if you go and ask and wait for it to be completed in person. Tonight was the last straw. It was over 24 hours since urgent care sent them the script. I went expecting it to be waiting for me, and the young lady says they never received it. I showed her the text urgent care sent me verifying this was the correct CVS. She then miraculously finds the correct script, but says it's on hold because my insurance won't cover it. And how was I supposed to know this if I didn't come in?! And this was only for Tamiflu which I've received from them before. I asked how much it would cost out of pocket, and she said I would have to go on the consultation line. What?! I've always been told the out of pocket price of the med at the pick up line. This young lady was new and had no idea what she was doing. Do yourself a favor and have your doctor send your scripts elsewhere. read more

They never answer the phone if you are waiting to speak to them on the phone they will leave you on hold for hours and only if you are lucky they will talk to you with their rudeness or they will simply disconnect the call. Disgusting staff, awful customer service. You call the store manager and they don't even listen to the manager, this place is a joke. Terrible store and pharmacy. Always making mistakes. Left an important medication that was supposed to be refrigerated out in open at front, behind counter, never sent it back to pharmacy. Thank God it didn't go bad after 3 days and was still safe. If it had been insulin or something and it went bad, I'd make sure their was a lawsuit involved. Pharmacy never knows what they're doing; always struggles to find our prescriptions even though we've been there for a year; has told us more than once they don't have us on file, which we have to convince them of every time until they find our medication. Awful. Place is always dumpy and dirty. We will no longer be doing any purchases there and will be switching to another pharmacy. If you can, avoid this location at all cost. read more

Absolute worst CVS pharmacy O have been to. The pharmacy has no organization in place to handle the very long "lines" of customers. I put lines in quotes as they have multiple "lines" ... one which everyone sees in between stanchions headed to the pharmacy cashier, and the others, just where they haphazardly throw you if you have a question or the register is not able to service the sale due to insurance etc at the time. These other lines are not organized at all and you are haphazardly told to wait while others cut in front of you .. you can't blame the customer as they don't even know who's been waiting. I waited over an hour yesterday for no good reason at all. Had an appointment that I missed. When I protested, I was simply dismissed out of hand. CVS - get some management in place please. This is specifically for the PHARMACY they are so lazy and horrible customer service!!! They say they called my doctor but then asked me to call them soooo i did to get in touch with them because they had medication questions. My doctor immediately called them and put it another order like they asked with clearer instructions and now I'm getting another automated call saying they're trying to reach out again to my doctor for a different medication!!! Why!? You said you'd refill it as long as it was sent and literally got off the phone with my doctor!! Do your job!!!! It's not the patients job to DO IT FOR YOU!! And so I called them back and it takes over an hour to even get on the phone with them!! Finally I got an answer and the girl just transferred me again I'm pissed!! This pharmacy is trash. My mom came home in the pouring rain, having waited there about 30 minutes for her prescriptions. She came home, to find one of her medications missing. She called the pharmacy and they told her it's "out of stock." So...they couldn't tell her when she was at the store?! Instead she had to find out when she got home and had to call them?! Horrible pharmacy, waited 20 mins online for them to tell me they couldn't find my meds so I had to go over to another desk for someone to look it up. Turns out it was because my dentist spelled my name wrong. But he used my phone number to find my information, which I gave to the first associate. I had to go back online and wait another 20 mins because of one letter. After waiting again, they told me my meds weren't ready and it's going to take 15 mins. 20 mins later a whole hour in I have to walk up to the second desk again and ask him what's going on. Turns out my prescription was sitting in the basket for 10 mins. I would have kept on waiting. Absolutely horrible pharmacy. Changing it asap read more

This location has served me well. I have not had a negative experience EXCEPT this new half baked idea of closing the pharmacy (all of them) smack in the middle of the day for staff lunch. What idiot conceived this? Has to be someone or group high up the chain, someone or group that no one will say no to. Last time I went there was a line forming and growing at 130 and by 2 it was chaotic to say the least. I'm sure that the staff would have preferred to return to the staggered lunch schedule and a steady flow of customers rather than face a deluge of neediness and impatience when they finally open the gate. The additional staff on hand (theoretically) were not enough to avoid being overwhelmed and it was stressful and unpleasant for all involved. Other pharmacies will not follow and will take advantage of this lunchtime shitstorm and welcome those whose lunch break is 130 to 2 that cannot get their prescriptions at CVS. This policy is so dumb I wouldn't be surprised to hear late night hosts goof on it. 4 stars for the store 1 star for headquarters read more

Absolutely the WORST pharmacy. A disorganized mess. Every time you call you get a different answer. You can't trust them. My last 5 prescriptions were filled incorrectly. 1 was supposed to be 30 pills, they gave me 180 pills. Another was supposed to be 60 pills they gave me 30 pills. Another was supposed to be 60mg they gave me 30mg. I went in a few days ago to confirm a prescription for today. They promised it would be ready on Saturday. I called to make sure it's ready and they tell me they're sold out. It's the weekend so I can't even get my Doctor to send the prescription to another pharmacy. If you need toilet paper it's great. If you need a competent pharmacy DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

CVS is a god-send. There are many things that a typical supermarket does not carry. This one has a great parking lot, is convenient by car, and carries a lot. Most importantly, it has a self-check out line which is always convenient and quick. The bonus: It's always open. The only down side is that the parking lot is weirdly stripped and hard to get out of. And since it's at a busy intersection, it would help to have an easy out. But that's a small complaint on a nice store. read more

What a bad store. First the pharmacy has serious problems with so many dim-witted workers. They must pay poorly because the quality is terrible. I know cashiers at supermarkets that handle people better. Bigger question is why does everyone have a problem there. Bad company for the average person. If you ask them something, they have to consult the manual. Their reliance on interns lessens your ability to get real help. The rest of the store is overpriced. Check the price online at CVS.com. Prices double in the store. A meee bottle of Alka Seltzer is $5 dollars more PER BOTTLE in the store. I guess they need it to pay the payroll. Items are expired so be careful. Just about everything they sell is priced at least 20-40% higher than you can get at other places or online. Why do I get there? Parking? Nah not worth it if I look at the bigger picture read more

I really hate giving 2 star to a business but i had bad experience 2 times. I dis buy one ointment cream from the counter after 3 days i figured out its expired. I did went back to the cvs and ask them to take it back. They said no they cant because its used , i told the guy here is the receipt and i dis not know it was expired when I purchase it. They did not take it back and i did have to put that in the garbage. Now normal way any cvs would change it with the correct dated but this did not. Not happy at all. The store and employees are great. I shop here in the morning and find myself rushing out due to the EXTREMELY ANNOYING dinging that goes on every time someone walks in or out of the store. The ding seems to radiate throughout the store so you can't avoid it. I don't know how it does not drive the employees there absolutely insane. I used to find the blasting music to be annoying, but that seems to have stopped. I write with hopes that someone will read this and disable that damn dinging thing. Unfortunately, I don't get half of what I go in for because I can't wait to leave. Update - I am so happy to say that I just went in the store the other morning and there was no dinging. Three years ago, a worker at the pharmacy gave my pain medication to a stranger. The manager said that it was okay. My guess is that this manager and coworker gave my medication to one of their friends. It's never okay for anyone to pick my medicine. I asked who? I said I want to see the video. I had a ceizure from this terrible service worker. I'm definitely still continuing speaking to my lawyer. I hope these people lose their jobs and replaced by confidence people or robots. read more

My husband went to pick up for me and they said not ready then I screen shot the text msg says it's ready to him to show them then only they found it. When I called for refills they told me it will be ready in 2 hrs I didn't have time to go so I went 2 days later guess what they told me it wasn't done!! And btw they never pick up phone calls .
