She rolled her eyes and sighed when I handed her my $10 bill and asked for 2 of the $5 scratchers. I won on the scratchers so I went back in to turn them in and get more. (Who wouldn't?) I had my 1 year old daughter with me and when I handed her the tickets she said "do you see how many people are in line behind you? There's like 5." I said "what does that mean?" She then mumbled something under her breath along the lines of "I don't have time for you right now." ???!!!!! Excuse me? Isn't this your job? After she said that, I guess there's a button or something you press where it goes on speaker and says they need assistance at the front and she pressed it so hard, it was kind of funny. I grabbed my tickets and turned around and told the couple behind me, "she's not in a very good mood." They responded with, "yeah, I see that." And I said "good luck!" I understand customer service sucks sometimes but I was trying to be really nice to her saying "oh! I'm back!" When I handed her the tickets because I thought she was just having a bad day and maybe needed a little pick me up but no. Her attitude was uncalled for. I was telling my friend about my little interaction with her and she said she's seen her there before and her attitude is ridiculous. She knew EXACTLY who I was talking about. How embarrassing having someone like that representing Cumberland Farms. Get rid of her.

There's 6 pumps, at an angle, but only about 10' of space between the front of the pumps and the edge of the pavement, so navigate there carefully. Since they're on the south side of Ballston Spa, their prices are generally cheaper due to competition, but their prices are still a few cents a gallon higher than the stations down the road at the 50/67 split. There are parking spaces in front and on the south side, and during busy hours, they're almost always full. It's probably people getting their morning coffee and sandwiches there instead of the fast food chains just beyond. It's a medium sized Stewart's. This one has outdoor picnic tables on the north side that are sheltered by a roof, a nice convenience. Selection is good, however, if you want all the bells and whistles of a newer, larger Stewart's, that would be the relocated and expanded one on the north side of town at the intersection of NY 50 and North Line Rd.

No where on the signs on the pump did it say a cash and credit price. Filled up and realized it was a few cents more per gallon than the listed price per gallon. My family member went in to get a receipt because the pump had no receipt tape and to inquire about the price discrepancy. What she was met with was an attendant who thought it was okay to start saying a range of expletives at them for even asking about the price. We remained calm the whole time and didn't swear once but he thought this was a perfectly ok way of conducting business. When we left we did notice cash and credit prices in tiny letters on the street sign but because of how this man acted we will never be back, I don't care how cheap the gas is. Also scams at this store must be a common occurrence as I read another review stating a man gave the attendant a $20 and he claimed it was only a $10. ( read it in the non recommended reviews at the bottom of the page). AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I am just saying that Stewarts definitely has the money at store it is extremely busy throughout the whole day!!! I think they should put a notice up letting you know if it's over $500 they refuse to cash or don't sell lottery.... you took my cash to purchase but don't want to pay out if you win my advice do not tell them if you have or a $500 just the store and give your ticket instead of trying to be nice and let them figure it out on how they're gonna pay you your money!!!! This is my first time through since the turnover. Right away you can see the decor that used to cover the walls, giving this spot massive character, is gone, hopefully that is something to be added by the new owners going forward. There are some things from my experience that may be chalked up to the recent turnover such as a messed up order that was fixed and the longer than typical wait for this type of food, but the quality of the food also took a hit. The sandwich was mediocre and the muffin was incredibly dry.

I choose not to purchase gas here any longer, unless things change. Speedway recently marketed…read moretheir own credit/rewards card, and they have made some sort of change to the chip-reading software at this station to process it for the purposes of discounts and rewards. I don't have the card and am not planning to get it. Their gas prices for non-members are still competitive even without the discount. Today I spent somewhere between 5-10 minutes between 2 pumps trying to get my card read. Over the course of that time, I think I received 6 different error messages, and never the same one twice: "Card not read," "Chip error," "Sale discontinued," "Please remove card," "Please see cashier." I think the fact that I got all these different messages doing exactly the same thing with my credit card each time tells you something about the software too. I finally gave up and went to the Speedway at Northway Exit 10. They have a different type of card reader at those pumps, and my card worked the first time. I paid a few cents a gallon more for my gas, but I'm not too concerned. Over the course of a month, the amount of money I "lose" for buying gas here would amount to the cost of a cup of coffee. This station lost a loyal customer and won't get me back unless they figure out what's wrong with the pumps
