This review is for the "managers" at this store location. Both times we've encountered the male and female managers during the day and him only at night and I have to say every encounter was very off-putting. They have zero personable skills whatsoever. The employees are always nice and helpful, as are the pharmacy employees. But it definitely puts a damper on wanting to go back and support their store unless the "managers" get more training on customer service and satisfaction. The worst and slowest pharmacy in the world! Only ONE car was at the window and it took over an hour to get that car out of line. It took another 30 minutes for them to come to the window for me. Line is completely backed up now. This is not efficient service by any means. No one is picking up the phone either. Crazy to think sick people and elders have to put up with this service. As a pharmacy, this location is both friendly and quick with their service, they keep their lines moving at a fair pace and usually manage to refill prescriptions within the hour. I wouldn't shop here as a store, but that is only because their everyday prices are very high in comparison with others. If you watch the in store deals and check weekly ads, you can save a decent amount on all types of items. read more

Worst worst worst everrr Pharmacy ever. How do these people sleep at night??! They don't refil medications and it takes forever to get them.. simply just refill them for customers. Then they fill Medication pill count wrong?? It's not that hard to count the pills correctly. My mother doesn't speak English and they treaTed her so badly... I would say racist a bit... my mother was having trouble picking up her medication so I call the pharmacy and they i told me on the phone they'll have someone there the next day to translate for my mother at the pharmacy bc she needees her medication for her Lupus. Still the next day, of course she was without a translator to even help when she and I specifically ask for one on the phone and the pharmacist said she'll have someone there for my mother to talk to! If I live closer I would of gave them a peice of my mind...by American disability act health care providers are require to provide a translator for patients when they need one! They Definitely did NOT provide a translator even on the phone for my mother every time she tried to talk to them... still days without her medications and they end up charging her for medications claiming they already gave her a 90 day supple when it was 30 day?! The perscription bottle they claim had 90 pills was so small it would only fit at most 60 pills cram in there?! Seriously so my mother was withoUt her medications for long she was so frustrated that she end up paying extra for it just so shE can finally take her meds! read more

My son was prescribed antibiotics for a painful ear infection. Every single time I come to pick it up, I'm given some excuse as to why I can't have it. First they were backed up, then it's wasn't filled yet, now it's because the pharmacist is at lunch and the pharmacy assistant 'Alfonso' won't give me the medication without a consult. My son has literally been on this medication every year for 6 years. We don't need a consult. This is the third day I'm being refused my son's antibiotics. His fever is getting out of control because I can't give him his medicine. This should be considered negligence. I'm on call with corporate to make a formal complaint. Do not bring important prescriptions here. They take forever to fill and then they give you the run around. read more

Every single time I call I am on hold forever. FOREVER. I hate being put on hold for 20 minutes at a time. Not an exaggeration. They have no incentive to pick up those on hold. And even when they do its a millisecond "pleasehold" before putting me back on hold. I always go to the cvs at Target in Atwater instead of Bellevue for this reason. read more

This pharmacy continues to over-promise and under-deliver when it comes to pick-up times. They told my doctor my prescriptions would be ready in 2 hours. Bought a bottle of wine from Atwater store, took one sip and knew it was off. Took it back the following day for a refundt, the counter help called her manager who said, its company policy not to return any alcohol products.............Really the wine was bad, no refund, no offer of an exchange and the manager was rude. Store itself is great but the pharmacy is horrible. I went in on a Saturday afternoon over an hour after taking my daughter to the urgent care and was told they "didn't have" a prescription for her. I was sent by "rude man at the pick up counter" to speak to "impatient man at the drop off counter". I asked if he could please double check and he "couldn't find anything". I called the urgent care who told me it had been faxed over to them over an hour ago. The urgent care faxed it AGAIN, I got back in the pick up line for another 20 minutes and still nothing, "rude man" told me "nothing yet, back in line". I go back to "impatient man at the drop off counter" who miraculously still can't find a prescription that's been faxed twice. I called the urgent care again and they couldn't believe that I was still waiting at the pharmacy. They told me they were going to call the pharmacy and call me back to let me know it went through. I got back in the pick up like yet again and could hear the pharmacist answer the phone, his etiquette was nonexistent. I got my call back and they told me the pharmacist never checked the fax...seriously! They also commented on how unprofessional the pharmacist was and apologized for me having to wait so long. When I finally got to the front of the pick up line "rude man" didn't have much to say, no apologies or anything. He rang me up and sent me on my way. read more

Worst pharmacy ever. I've been given wrong medication, waited up to two days for refills, and although a medication was ready, they wouldn't allow me to pick it up because the pharmacist was in a staff meeting. After I sat and waited over an hour. Additionally they have no problem shouting out your personal information such as names the medication you're taking across the pharmacy area in front of other people. This is a violation of privacy and this Pharmacy is incompetent. read more

I have worked in the customer service field for over 10 years so I know good service from bad service and CVS store in Atwater is exceptionally good. I live in Merced and there are 2 CVS stores in Merced, one of which is literally down the street however I drive 13.5 miles from my house to the Atwater because every single time I have an awesome shopping experience. The store is clean, organized and really good about having things in stock. But the heart of the store is the staff. The manager and all the staff are all friendly, helpful and really go out of their way to make sure your shopping experience is great from beggining to end. They happily greet you, offer to help and always provide assistance if needed. Thank you Atwater CVS for your service!! I hope corporate appreciates you!! read more

So i had to refill my prescription to this cvs only because the target cvs was closed for 1 month. I always refill my prescription online and when i got a text message that they were ready, i was shocked because i remembered specifically telling the staff that i did not want to get my RX auto refilled. I stopped by to pick up my RX through the drive thru and their drive thru window was temporary closed. I didnt have time to go in the cvs because i knew it would take 45 mins to get my RX. Came home to see if they can cancel my RX or have it transferred to the cvs target. got off the phone with a representative in the pharmacy and she hung up on me after asking her to take the RX off of the auto refill. Now i have to go to two different cvs to pick my RX for myself and my husband because they would not help me cancel/transfer my RX. Never will i go to this cvs again. read more

I normally use the CVS inside target.... Let me say that Cvs is fantastic. But they were down for inventory and I needed my daughter script fast because she had just gotten out of the hospital and needed them. So they referred me to this location. I have three good things to say about this place one will be in the beginning one in the middle and one will be at the end. First they greeted me right away when I walked up to the que. Took them a few mins to head my way but at least I knew they saw me and knew I was there. The lady that took my info seemed OK. She seemed frazzled and in a hurry. My daughter's scripts were already in the computer 3 were rx and 2 were otc. So she said it would be 3 hours because it was just 2 of them. But looking behind her there was visibly 4 people back there filling stuff. I asked if it would be possible to get just one filled ASAP because my daughter needed a dose as soon as possible. She said she doubted it. Ok. I said that the CVS in target was down for inventory and it would be at least 4 hrs so I guess 3 was better than that. Then she rolled her eyes and went off about how she didn't understand why it takes them so long when it takes their store less than that and they have more inventory. I just smiled. So off I went. At 2 hours (here's my second good thing) I got a text saying it was ready. So I head down there. I'm the only one in line and I saw the lady that helped me and prayed I didn't get her as my checkout person. Luckily another lady came by and started our transaction. I got her 3 scripts and then asked where I would find the 2 otc meds to add to our order. The CVS in target always got them for us and had it ready at checkout with the lowest priced version available since insurance won't cover otc meds. The lady that originally helped me comes over and shakes her head at the cashier and says there people waiting behind you, you may have to pay and then find your others meds and wait in line again. What!? My daughter had found them quickly because we were holding up the line obviously from the lady who had just walked up 30 seconds before. She ran back with them. And the cashier said oh they are b1g1(my last good thing to say) so we grabbed another bottle. Good thing those vitamin D pills were 22 dollars! But we needed them so I paid. As we were leaving I see way down at the other end of the aisle is the CVS brand for less than 10 a bottle. This annoys me, because yes if we looked harder we would of found them but that lady had us hurrying so the lady behind us didn't have to wait a few minutes. I also was hurried out and never got a consult on these three new meds my daughter was given and had to use Google. The service I receive at target Cvs may not be common practice for all Cvs pharmacies but it should be. Between me and my family we fill 15 scripts a month and although I could save a little by going to Walmart or even mail order I still use target Cvs because they are always so helpful and always look to save us as much as possible. If this Cvs was my only option I would go anywhere else even if I had to pay double. read more

Both my husband and I are older and disabled, CVS supposedly had me on a Auto-Refill/ Not true I go to pick up my meds and I know longer get home and see I did not get the refills I was out of. So when I call and ask questions/ the tech's do not care and just reply come back we will have ready----it is just not that easy when we have difficulty just leaving the house. read more

This pharmacy is jacked they always FILL your prescriptions without you asking them too. if your out of town at an unknown pharmacy and you need to get your medicine they will tell you already picked it up ( when you didn't they just filled it way in advance at CVS ) and now your Screwed ! and recently there have been alot of employee changes which makes the incompetence worse. read more

Very unprofessional service with the pharmacy and disappointed and disturbed by this...save yourself the headache...had an emergency inhaler prescription filled for my son and when I got there (fifteen minutes before closing), the female tech said the computer system just crashed (also said it happens often) so I couldn't purchase the inhaler. That part is not their fault but the lack of professionalism by rolling her eyes, continuously saying to the other tech "we close at 9", giggling about personal matters to the other tech and not knowing the answers about their system or transferring the order to another CVS was annoying. Even worse, they ended up losing the order so now I have to get another one from the doctor, (huge inconvenience!) and just prolongs my son's difficulty breathing. I don't need prescriptions often but when I do, it would be nice for the pharmacy techs to be at least decent and try to be helpful. I will never go back. read more
