It is very difficult to get to speak to a person. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired.

I went this morning to get deodorant and my prescription. The deodorant is under lock and key and it took 15 minutes for someone to come unlock the case. Then when I went to get my prescription there was a young lady in front of me who got prescriptions that were mislabeled. The supervisor made rude comments about the young lady when she left that I will not repeat even though they admitted it was their mistake. I hate to leave bad reviews but it's needed. The Indian woman who's there's in the early mornings is just ridiculously RUDE !!!! Why is she even there if she doesn't want to help the customers ? She once told me she's just there to watch the store and not help anyone. That's insane. There were no other employees in sight to help. I simply asked her very nicely where to find a product and she gets very nasty and says oh what do you want ? I replied I was looking for Pedialyte. She then responds , you didn't see it there ? If it's not there we don't have it. Didn't even try to help me locate it. I just walked away because this wasn't the first time she's been rude. Mind you she's coughing and sneezing throughout the whole store as if she's sick ! I then went over to pharmacy to hopefully get some help which I did immediately. The guy in the white jacket came from behind the counter with no hesitation and actually helped me find the product. That's a great example of an employee who came to do their job. I wouldn't recommend coming here early mornings if you can't find an item. You won't get helped by her for sure ! read more

I tried to pickup a package. THE ONE THAT I BOUGHT. First they keep telling me to come at 3:00 P.M. then tomorrow, then later. Playing games, when they finally received my package they wouldn't give it to me. Why? well, because my ID doesn NOT match the name on the package. Ohhkay, understandable. But I have other ways to prove it. Right!? Like The debit card that I used to purchase MY ITEM. Not enough!? Ohhkay. I Can show you the receipt, I can show you that I was the one who bought it. My debit card has the same name as my ID. Anyways. I asked for manager. I don't know if this ''lady'' was the manager. I don't want to think she was. She just came up to me and told me that she cannot give me my package. I told her that I can show her some prove and she said no. You have to call ''FedEx''. -It's not FedEx, It's UPS I said. -Ohhkay, Whatever. She said. And I asked: Well, I can prove it to you that I was the one who bought it. And she wouldn't even help me and with this ''attitude'' like get out of the store for demanding something that is mine. I do NOT know if this is a manager but if she is... What a disgrace... Even the cashier that was helping me said that it's not fair. A manager? And wouldn't even listen to me. NOT GOOD. The worst service I've received in my entire life. 1 Star. :) read more

I was in need of 2 important prescriptions to be filled. I have medications that I must take daily.. The Pharmacist at this location Ramin Sharga was amazing ! . Mr. Sharga was professional and courteous - being on a fixed income Mr. Sharga found and researched a way to decrease prescriptions cost to me. I am grateful that I was on line and he was able to help. I am so happy that this store has such an amazing pharmacist. I am delighted I found a local pharmacy minutes from home I can count on. Unprofessional and unwelcoming. Pharmacist just stared into the car as if I was supposed to know what information she needed. Also the information on the phone isnt accurate, they said the prescription wasn't found but was already done and ready for pick up, I guess that's what happens when you have automated calls instead of human beings. read more

The pharmacy takes forever and they always mess my prescriptions up. They're also really rude sometimes!

For starters I went here on Sunday for prescriptions which I was only given one. We went back this evening for my second prescription and there was nothing but issues. They said it wasn't covered by our insurance which when this prescription would be filled generically the prescription WOULD be COVERED. The pharmacy tech kept going back and forth rather than the pharmacist coming to the phone to speak directly to me . What a waste of time . The long and short was this particular pharmacist did not want to help or even try , and to add insult to injury let the pharmacy tech get in the middle of something she could not answer. Sad to say I hope others have a better response with their prescriptions. read more

I was very impressed with how quickly the drive up pharmacy line moved today. I got there later than I wanted to with less than ten minutes before they break for lunch ( which can be seen on the website ) and there were a ton of cars ahead of me. it was my last day to pick it up as I procrastinated getting the meds. They assisted each car in under 2 minutes. I got my medicine and was not late to work. Thank you CVS pharmacy employees! read more

In transitioning all my scripts from Walgreens to this CVS, there were several snafu's with insurance and the transfers themselves. However, the pharmacy tech whom I believe his name is Mike was a Godsend. First of all, I don't think he ever goes home. He's just always there, whether I go at 2pm or 2am. And he is always helpful and in a good mood. Anyhow, Mike was very helpful in getting everything straightened out and all my scripts are now transferred and fine. In fact, all of the people in the pharmacy dept art very friendly and welcoming. The transition to this store has been a positive experience overall. As for the rest of the store, they have been remodeled to conform to the new layout. I'm not a fan of a bunch of short aisles compared to the old school layout, but as I understand it, the new layout helps with security/loss prevention somehow. The first store I saw to adopt this type of layout was Toys R Us several years ago, and other stores are apparently following suit. The staff is efficient and everyone seems to know what they're doing. No issues using coupons or getting a raincheck. If I could change one thing, I'd update those coupon machines to show you the available coupons on the screen and let you choose which ones to print out instead of just printing out a dozen or so that you won't use, leaving you with receipts long enough to use as wallpaper if you collected enough of them. Just seems like a waste to me. So yeah... If you find yourself in need of a 24hr pharmacy... or a craving for some Slim Jims or Haagen Dazs at 2am, this is your place. :-) read more

The pharmacist went out of her way to find me a coupon for otherwise very expensive prenatal vitamins (with insurance coverage). I was going to come back and make a return, but instead she researched this coupon for me during down time and called me back to come for the adjustment. She applied it to my account so that it is on file for future reference. She made a frustrating experience the complete opposite. read more

As a healthcare provider taking care of patients with special needs I find the professionalism of this pharmacy very lacking. Over and over again my patients have to make multiple trips to the pharmacy to pick up their meds because of errors made or lack of attention to detail by the pharmacist or pharmacy staff. This is a pervasive problem among chain pharmacies. It's unacceptable. Today was another example of the inadequate attention paid resulting in a patient being confused about his medication and being inconvenienced. read more

My daughter had been released from the hospital the night before I was picking up prescriptions in their drive-thru. I asked to buy a bottle of pedialyte and was bluntly told no. I informed them I had a sick infant sleeping in the car, could they please make an exception. I was told no again. I called and spoke to the store manager who informed me they stopped their curbside ordering and any interaction I had with the pharmacy was under the pharmacy's purview, not hers. She transferred me to the pharmacy. I was told that it was their policy not to sell items through the drive-thru window because it was a "liability." I asked how it was more of a liability to sell a bottle of Pedialyte through the drive-thru window than it would be to expose my daughter to the store's germs and also inflict the store with her own germs, I was told "I don't know, I was told to tell you that" as if that is some kind of answer. I made a complaint to CVS corporate. It took a week for the pharmacy manager to respond. He informed me that it is not their policy ordinarily to sell items through the window, but would usually sell Pedialyte if there wasn't a long line at the drive-thru window and he would speak to the people working that day to get to the bottom of the situation. I told him his store spent more time explaining to me that they would not sell me Pedialyte through the drive-thru window than it would have been to just sell me a bottle. I asked for a better resolution but his word that he would address the situation is all he could do for me. This does not rectify the situation for me. I have repeated issues with customer service and insurance misunderstandings at this location and this has been the last straw. I will be transferring my prescriptions and bringing my prescriptions elsewhere. I hope for future customers they become more customer-minded and develop a heart for their sick and ill clients who require their services. read more

Pharmacy is the worst. Don't go here unless you want to be humiliated and have your information disclosed while on line or over the phone(isn't this a HIPPA violation). Not only do the supervising pharmacist need to have more control over their minions but the pharm techs need to be trained better in customer service. Everyone gets irritated when they are told their Rx will be done and when you go there it's not ready(or they don't even have the medication in the store!) But your job is to deal with the customer's frustration bc YOU didn't do your job. And if it's a mistake in the system- fix the system. What's the point of getting notices if the notices are not accurate. And here is the worse part!!! Furthermore, staff then uses their power to delay the receipt of the rx even longer until you apologize?!?? Yes the person on the phone actually said " are you sorry yet?" And then changed the date for pick up to an earlier date. So because I got into a verbal dispute(started due to the pharmacies incompetence) if I didn't apologize, then I would have to wait a week for the Rx. Playing with people's health, especially during Covid, is not only shameful but I am looking into seeing if this is legal. read more

I live in Amityville and there are two cvs pharmacies near me this one and the one on Broadway the one on Broadway is much closer to me but I chose to come here it's bigger everything is always in stock and there is a wider selection anything I need I can find here need a late night run for medicine you can go to cvs its very convienient and they have a wide selection and they always have pretty good sales ! I am always in and out of this CVS. I constantly come at all weird hours. Today was the first day I met an employee named Angeline. She is the reason I am writing this review because she was absolutely fantastic. While I was waiting on line some evil sour woman swooped ina be cut me off and yelled " I WAS HEAR EARLIER SO THATS WHY I CAN GO INFRONT IT YOU" and proceeds to verbally attack the employee helping her. This woman was actually insane. I held my tongue but then asked why did she have to be so sour and she stormed away. When I met the employee angeline she still greeted me with a smile, asked if I was a rewards member and I asked her about the woman and she was so positive and handled the whole situation in such an amazing way. While the woman was bashing her she kept a smile and was super informative and explained in a non sassy manner about the information the woman was screaming about and even after she was still able to greet me and not have an attitude. She was so sweet and she made sure my purchase went well and it was nice to have a little laugh with her as well. I appreciate people who don't stoop to the evil customers levels. Angeline is amazing ! 10/10 she made this experience worth while! read more

The photo department is the absolute worse. I printed 75 pictures and more than half looked 3D. Customer service was horrible and they refused to reprint ruined pictures. Have been purchasing photos from CVS for years and never received service so bad. This was my first and last time using this CVS location for photos. read more

Every time I go to this location I have to wait on a line even when I may possibly be the only customer in the store. Nobody knows what they're doing here, there is never more than one person up front. A customer always has a problem that takes all their staff to work on. Also today I went in for laundry detergent that was it. I waited 5 minutes until someone was called up front. Then he did not ask for my cvs card and I purposely bought something that was $5 less than what I was charged because of this poor service. I didn't make a scene or say anything because I was already too annoyed and the customer next to me had their own issues. I will never return to this location. read more
