Disorganized and poor management of medication inventory. VERY dissatisfied with ongoing out of stock issues for a medication I need monthly. I'm told to CALL them in advance every month to remind them to order !!!! Then they can't find it nor can check shipment invoices. THIS STORE NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER! I'm not sure why the reviews are so poor. It is an older building and could use a renovation. I routinely use the pharmacy for several reasons. They almost always have what I need in stock and they get my prescriptions done in short order. As to the phone service, it generally takes a message and once record such I get a call back in short order. Way better service than other pharmacies. I would also note that the pharmacist there have never questioned my Dr. about my meds. This happened to me at the other pharmacy. read more

Store is filthy. Disgusting stains and trash on carpet. Bathroom is like the worst gas station. Employees are nice. I feel sorry for them.

What could improve? Your pharmacist techs nasty ass attitude and get off their ass and instead of running their mouths and closing early and being rude as fuck, on top of not getting a prescription filled on time or even the courtesy to call and let it be known a prescription is ready. The staff at the minute clinic and at the pharmacy are extremely helpful, compassionate, understanding, and patient. I came in with oral thrush and a handful of other ailments, and the two practitioners attending to me made me feel heard and understood. The staff at the pharmacy were also extremely attentive and helpful. Thank you to the staff at the clinic and at the pharmacy for taking care of me. I've called the Pharmacy for 3 days in a row and have been on hold for over 15 minutes. Never did get to speak w anyone.

Whiskey Rd is the worst run CVS in AikenSC. There is never enough employees to handle he volume. There is always a long wait. Most recently waited in line for 45 minutes only to get to he drive thru window to have someone shove a sign in my face say I their system is as down and i needed to go into to the store. If the system is down how is it helping to go inside aren't they on the same system as he drive thru. There in the same damn store. So I go in and the line is basically to he front of the store. read more

I've used CVS in 2 other states and have never had a problem. But, the one here in Aiken is HORRIBLE. (1) You refill your prescriptions on the internet, get a confirmation, all to go and pick it up and it not be ready OR even in the system! (2 My doctor submitted my prescriptions for 90 days, I picked up 3 meds, only ONE was 90 day, the other 2 were 30. Didn't discover of course until I got all the way home (3) My doctor called in a prescription for me on Friday, they were out of the medicine and I was told it would be ready on Tuesday. On Wednesday, still no word from the pharmacy. I called and was on HOLD for OVER 20 minutes to be told it's still not in!!! Outrageous! read more

Filling prescriptions here is absolutely painful. There will undoubtably be issues with any transaction with them, you'll need to wait in multiple lines, things won't be ready, or not filled, etc. forget calling- they don't answer the phone. Don't plan to go early thru the drive thru- they open it when they feel like it, not at "opening". If it weren't the cheapest place to get my son's medication I would happily take my business elsewhere. read more

I was in the store on Whiskey Rd in Aiken, SC and went right to the product I needed, I then proceeded to self check out as there were several customers in various stages of the regular check out, I scanned the item and the kiosk said that the item needed an age check, I waited about two minutes and no one showed up. When someone finally did they canceled the checkout and returned to their regular position as a cashier. I was not about to wait in line any longer. This is why I usually go to Walgreens. read more

Stopped by here since I was in the hotel across the street to pick up some medicine for my son who had a bad sinus infection. Pharmacist was very helpful in getting the right medicine and took time to walk us over to the medicine isle and made sure we got what we needed to get him better. Went to pick up my prescription that Dr Bruckner Called in for me knowing it would probably would be a wait . I asked the cashier if there was any way they could expedite my prescription and she asked Michael the pharmacist if he could with a smile on his face he agreed and I don't have to wait ! CVS pharmacy on Whiskey Road is terrible. I've receive phone messages that my prescriptions are ready I almost always have to wait! Once I waited for over an hour and finally talked to the store manager. She approached the pharmacy and asked what was the delay. Their response was they were busy and it would be another 20 minutes. When I asked why I received a phone message that they were ready they did not have an answer. I've moved my business elsewhere! read more

I have spent 1 hour today on hold trying to reach the pharmacy. 3 times at 20 minutes each time - finally called main number, the person answering the phone took my name and phone number and said she would have them call me - nothing yet. This is not the first time I have had this problem - NO ONE PICKS UP THE CALLS!!! I am seriously considering changing pharmacys. Not Happy at all read more

My current Pharmacy plan directs use of CVS. My experience over the recent 3 months has been very disappointing! The problems have been as follows: 1. Holding on phone for 23 minutes to speak to the pharmacy and still no one answered-complained in person and was told the people are all busy. 2. Was told by a supposed pharmacy manager that "controlled" prescriptions can only be refilled one day prior to runout. 3. Automated phone service for refills gives incorrect instructions. 4. Out of stock on incontinent item for 17 days-repeated inquiries have yielded no sensible answers. 4. Out of stock on my prescription item. Very poor performance and seemingly no interest in correcting any of the problems. Employees seem well aware of problems and totally uninterested in addressing them! read more

I didn't know that CVS offers money solutions at this location. They have money orders, green dot, and an ATM saved me a lot of time! Pretty awesome pharmacy! They care enough to even put my special order of thyroid medication ( the only type I can have) without me needing to call after I told them for the first order, so they can make note of it!
