The website says they close at 9 pm. They close at 8. Walked all the way there for nothing.

The location is convenient and the staff are friendly but there is no actual pharmacy at this location!

They are amazingly slow there. Combination of light staffing, poor cashier layout, slow paced staff, no sense of the speed of commerce.

Even for being a small business, they have always carried whatever I've come in for. The pharmacists are generous with their consultations and give great advice that you'd have to wait on hold for with the nurse advice line. I much prefer to pick up my prescriptions here and get a thorough explanation (or with an inhaler I recently needed, a demonstration, since I've never used one) than picking something up from a big name, anonymous chain store. Glad to have them in the neighborhood.

In my experience, it's impossible from the big chains. Skendarian is one of the rare places that can not only create custom topical/transdermal medications, but do it exceptionally well. My Boston vet had directed me to an out-of-state pharmacy to make a topical version of the steroid my cat could not tolerate in liquid form. It would have taken at least five business days for me to get the meds, even paying for express shipping. I remembered that Skendarian can compound medications on site. I called them. They had the prescription cream it ready the same day they received the prescription! I'm embarrassed to write that this is not the first time Skendarian came through for our household when no other pharmacy could. The experience reminded me how critical it is to patronize local pharmacies for every day needs. CVS or Walgreens would not have done for me at all what Skendarian was able to do in ONE DAY. I wish I lived in Cambridge rather than Boston so I could do all my drugstore shopping there. They are the best. Seriously.

This CVS is located right in Harvard square, it is extremely convenient as it is right outside the mbta T stop. This location is also very convenient from Harvard students as it is right next to Harvard university. It is located on a very busy street intersection, but surprisingly it is very spacious inside. It has two floors. On the first floors you can find mostly appliances, dried foods and frozen food; while on the second floor you van find the pharmacy, beauty produce and skincare products. The ambiance of this CVS is very nice and it is also very clean. The employees are somewhat helpful but at times I found them to be very rude and dismissive. I mostly come to this CVS to purchase skincare products like La Roche Posay. Most of their skincare products are locked up so you do need an associate assistance to grab them. A lot of times they are out of stock of the products I need and unfortunately this CVS is more on the pricier side compared to others one I have been too.

I made the mistake of sending my prescription to this Walgreens…read more Even though it was called in yesterday, the prescription had not been filled when I went to the pharmacy this afternoon. And the pharmacist took their time filling it as well. As a matter of fact, they let me stand there for several moments, while they were looking at their computer. After several standing there with in silence for an interminable amount of time, I asked if it would be OK if I grabbed a few things and came back. This was OK with the pharmacist. I Needed a new nail file, and was surprised to see That a single nail file in this pharmacy is $9.74. I went back to the pharmacy to see if there were any less expensive nail files in the store. I noticed that my prescription still had not been filled. So I wasted another five minutes looking around the store for alternative sources of reasonably priced nail files and adding more over priced items to my basket. I returned with a few things, fully expecting the pharmacist would check out my six items along with my prescription. To my shock, they refused, saying they were the only one working today, and asked if I could take my items to the front cashier and stand in line there on top of all the waiting I had done in the back. Did I mention that there was nobody anywhere near the pharmacy in all of these many many many minutes that I dealt with this person? In other words, no one else to be imposing on their extremely important time (whereas my time has no value whatsoever). Feeling gouged price-wise and completely disrespected, I then went to the front of the store to a second stand to check out this small basket of items. There was a line at the cashier, most notably a person who was having great difficulty finding a credit card that would cover paying for a pack of gum. By the time I left the store, I had spent $53 buying baggies, two drinks, cookies and coffee. Oh, and a nail file that the store wanted to charge me $9.74 for but I found in other packaging with a nail cutter, cuticle cutter and storage bag (none of which I need!) for $7.50. Mind you, this one nail file I needed would cost me $1.69 in a regular store. On top of all that the pharmacist didn't have enough of my antibiotic in stock so they only partially filled my prescription. So I will be forced to return to this dimly lit, godforsaken extortion pit again on Monday. I'll give the store two stars because the pharmacist was extremely helpful a few months back. I will, however, endeavor to avoid Walgreen's and only come to this one when necessary.
