The store is pretty clean. The parking is convenient. Those are the two positives. Today the store was understaffed and the cashier was overwhelmed. It looked as if they needed to put out some new merchandise. The selection was limited. I love the houseware section. It was messy and there was little to chose from. I wanted to look at something in the counter but since there was only one cashier and a very long line I didn't ask. The cashier was friendly.

Great vintage finds here!

A thrift shoppers dream. Wide selection and great prices. The employees were friendly and they had dressing room and lots of parking.

A small number of all the books I pulled FROM THEIR TRASH CAN.

The prices are better than other thrift stores like Goodwill which is great.

A larger than you think antique mall right on Main Street Kannapolis. Plenty of parking across the…read morestreet. A few hundred areas/booths that can be rented to sell your goods. From antique items to modern day stuff you will be able to find. There are several rooms to walk through as you stroll up and down the aisles. Prices vary from booth to booth. Since sellers can set their own price you need to look for the best value. My son tried to get a hold of a booth owner (because he left his card) but the guy never answered or called back so we left with nothing. We went when it was not crowded. I'm glad because it would get a bit too warm. I will define go back to this mall. Ut was certainly a place that brings back old times.

Normally the ladies and younger workers are smiling and always speak and tell you about the size of the place and how awesome it is. I walked in today and noticed several workers chatting behind the desk. I grabbed a shopping cart as I normally do because there is a boat load of good stuff and I always leave having spent a ton on great items. There's literally 3 floors and massive sq footage of everything under the sun. I spend hours here because I'm a true thrifty and I check out every station/booth, around 200 spaces I think. I'm very observant and always aware of my surroundings. I noticed the 1st man come from behind the desk as soon as I walked to the first booth. I've seen him there before. He wears a crossbody purse and glasses. I continue my normal walk and scan. I see him out the corner of my eye look me up and down. He walked into a few of the same booths as I and walked off. I rounded the corner and there he was pretending to filter through some sports cards. I kept browsing and scanning and noticed his stares. I walked up to the second floor to confirm if I was being paranoid and sure thing, he followed. I made eye contact a few times thinking ok,I'll give him benefit of doubt, other people were shopping and I kept minding my business. A 2nd guy starts to follow me, I've seen him before as well, he has a hunch back of ND walk, he looks like a teenager, obvious and sloppy. I purposely went into a few women clothing and jewelry and furniture booths and he followed, making eye contact and pretending to shop, all the while looking at me every few seconds. I walked in his direction and at this point I've decided I'm leaving. I pull out my phone to record for my safety and call my bestie to let her know what's going on. As I'm recording he stops in a booth next to me pulls out his phone to text or pretend and I say very loudly how uncomfortable I'm feeling with these mall cops following and profiling me. He heard me, then he picks up a random candle holder he had already passed and walks away. Most of the vendors have personal video cameras in their individual spaces to deter shoplifters. There are also cameras everywhere. Why are they following ME. It was OBVIOUS and because of how they made me feel in that moment, the only poc, being follwed, I left and will never go back. If you are a vendor here, they are making you loose business. I Do Not recommend black and brown people patronize this place. They do not want you here.

This used to be the best thrift store in Cabarrus County. Yes, used to be. It has gone downhill…read moreever since they reopened after C*vid. That's part of the problem too - all new staff due to firing the old staff during C*vid times...ones who had been there for years & were so sweet. The new manager is a guy who frequently complains openly about people shopping in the store, has literally complained about having to check my cart of stuff because I "got too much" and it'd take a while to scan it all in (I had maybe 6 books, a couple of shoes and some small nicknacks - it wasn't a lot). He's also changed sale hours - day of - closing early because he felt like it. He does not make people feel welcome to shop there - it's like we're bothering him to be in the store. Also, the pricing has gotten really bad - it's frequently at or above retail now, which is so sad since this stuff is always clearly used and *given/donated* to the store, but they grossly overprice it. Case in point: A used coffee grinder for $24.99 when it's new for $18.95 on Amazon or $19.98 at Walmart. The clothes have been really stained, hole-filled, torn and ripped lately. I really hate how bad the store is these days... I went in recently and they were selling a side table that was missing two legs, but still had it priced at $39.99. It just makes me so sad since this used to be my favorite thrift store in the area, and it's awful now.

This was a cool thrift store but the prices made no sense to me. There was some vintage (no…read moreinformation on those pieces and the prices were HIGH) but a lot of second hand clothes that weren't even in great condition were priced as if they were new and in season?? There's no reason to charge $30-$95 for the exact same pieces of clothes I could find at any goodwill for $4. And don't get me started on the "vintage". $380 for a Metallica t shirt? Come on. It wasn't even just a few things, everything in that store was at a ridiculous price. There was a "sale" area where everything was $20... sorry I don't want a pilling sweater for $20 or a random donated tee shirt for $20. I don't even buy a lot of new clothing for that. Did love the plant section though!! I got a cute cactus for $5 :) but yeah, as someone who thrifts and also enjoys vintage sellers, this was a hard no for me. Super cute and fun to walk around though. Like the attached coffee shop and staff were friendly

I do have to agree with the other review that this place is a mixed bag. Some things are really cool while others should've been left at the thrift store (stains, holes). I did find a very cool leather jacket for $200 and a vintage coach bag that's been on my thrift wish list for $100. Another thing that I noticed that there wasn't a ton of women's clothes. Mostly just men's and a few sections of purses, plants, etc. Nothing New also has a coffee shop inside with plenty of seating if you want to browse and have some coffee. Everyone was super nice and helpful when I came with a friend over the weekend.

I really hope Goodwill stops raising their prices. They should have left it where it was…read more Everything they sell was donated - they paid zero dollars! Shirts/Tshirts should not be $5.99! It's rather disappointing to see the cost of many of their items. They even raised the price of books and stuffed animals! I believe they now charge a percent of the original cost. What you used to find was a bargain. Now there is a double take on the price. For examke I saw a Ninja blender. Thought that would be something I would want ... Nope - they had it priced at $79.99. What? Ridiculous. Also, the stickers they now use are VERY difficult to remove. You definitely need GooGone to remove the sticker-often ruining the item you just purchased. At minimum can you at least put the price on the bottom? It is unfortunate a non-profit has to raise their prices. This should be one store where you can buy used items at a reasonable price. I doubt it is going to their employees... Most don't care how long you have to wait to check out. I don't want to knock all of the employees because there are some that are amazing and I appreciate them greatly.
