Cracked the side of my boat. Brought it in and was fixed better than new. Awesome fast service.

Traveled from Colorado to Florida to spend some time fishing. Upon arrival I discovered I had a…read moreserious problem with the hydraulic steering on my boat. They were able to get me into the shop and back on the water on the same day I reached out to them. Price was fair also.

I am a big believer in supporting local businesses and this why I chose this establishment. My…read moreservice request was to adjust throttle cable and shifter cable (fwd and rev). After a week and 2 days they tell me that they got it started. No surprise to me, I know my boat starts so. Then they tell me that they are going to go through it and see what going on with it. They take off the stern drive ( don't know why my new boat tech said he adjusted it from the engine bay). They told me the bellows were old and needed replacing. The bellows were put in 8 months ago!!! They told me I needed new spark plugs because they were corroded, they weren't bad at all. Then here is the kicker, ready ? It's just better if I get a whole new stern dive!!!! at this point I told them to leave it alone don't put the stern drive back on and took it to another place where work had been done before ( in okechobee, Fl). The tech there who had done close to 6k in work the previous year told me to bring it back he will check everything out and take care of it all. But I still had to pay $328 for them to rip the bellows apart, lose parts and hit the crap out of my stern drive. Yeah that was my experience. The two stars is for Richard who had to give face to all this. Boat was fixed over the weekend and I got to enjoy it the same weekend I picked it up from Advance Marine. More like cash advance marine. It's sad to say but this is my neighborhood marine store and I can never trust them that I had to drive an hour and fourth mins to another location for something that they could of done in a day down the road from me.
