Food is quite good and tasty (count 25£/pers). But the main attraction is the terrasse on the Thames that gets sunset light if the weather is ok and the great view. The pub is distant enough from Greenwhich so that you have a good chance of finding a table outside without booking. Great place to have a beer and watch the ships on the Thames

Outside of the restaurant. Not much room for parking

Arranged a dinner for our team here around tradeshow time. We got a private room at the Crow's Nest which was very small but nice. They provide us AV and a screen free of charge since we were dining there. a couple of issues: (1) They were impossible to get in touch with AFTER we paid the initial deposit for dinner. They didn't send us the final menu on time and also forgot to note that if we didn't pick items and inform them the choices would NOT be available. a majority of our group (17) were opting to get Steak which was not available upon arrival! This is really unacceptable since we paid the exclusive meal price at £35 per person. Also unacceptable was the fact was that we booked 4 months in advance and they should have been well prepared with the food! (2) Food was okay it wasn't that great. I ordered the Bream which was very fresh but didn't tingle my taste buds too much. I also had trouble taking the meat off the bones since it was cooked so well the bones would come off easily

Fish & chips and goats curd, tomato, broad bean and mint on toast.

I really like this place. Cool atmosphere. Nice service. Great outdoor seating overlooking the river. The fish and chips are great and very filling. The goat curd on toast was a delicious, light starter. It was really nice and busy on a Saturday and less busy on the weekdays. It's a great place to go eat or if you just want to get some beer with friends :)

    Lovely place

Lovely place with delicious food. Our order got lost and it was after the kitchen closed when we discovered it, but they made amends without issue.

The Cutty Sark has an interesting, old-fashioned feel with lots of quiet little nooks and crannies. The pub is dog friendly, as long as you don't try and take them upstairs. The food is really good, Sunday dinner servings are absolutely enormous. However, it seems their definition of roast potatoes is a little off, in that they were not at all crispy and looked as though they had only been shown the pan full of hot oil, rather than sat in it for a while. Other than the potato issues, everything else made for a perfect place to while away a Sunday afternoon.

We pub quiz here every Wednesday and I couldn't recommend it enough! The staff are super friendly and the atmosphere and location are amazing. My only niggle is the price of food and drinks, a tad expensive for one night out but if you win the quiz you get £50 to spend on anything so it's worth trying!

    Drinks in the room upstairs!

I had a really nice dinner here last night. The staff were friendly and the food tasted fresh! I'd definitely come back again.

Great classic pub. I had a fantastic burger with pulled pork and my friend had the vegetarian pearl barley risotto which was also great.

While you can hang out in the crowd and grab a pint easily without that, if you want to dine in the quieter dining area with views of the water you may want to do so as well. Especially if you want the elbow room to enjoy such great food. The Mayflower is named after the famous ship carrying the early American settlers, and the church tied to this voyage is steps away where apparently an unmarked grave hosts the resting spot of the captain of that ship. It's candlelit and kind of romantic on the top floor with great views. For food, my wife had the chicken pie and I had the special of the day, lamb stew with housemade potato salad. It was warm, flavorful and delicious, sentiments my wife shared on the pot pie. We split an order of mac and cheese, and it was also delicious. Such great comfort food. I had a small scotch pour and an ale, my wife a glass of wine. I had a small port to pair with the sticky toffee pudding at the end which was terrific. My wife swears by Gordon Ramsey's recipe of the same but this one was hard to beat IMO.

We ordered onion rings to start, the breading on them was amazing! It was light and crispy as opposed to being heavy and greasy like a lot of onion rings. I also loved the curry ketchup that came with them. I'm not generally a curry fan, but it definitely worked with this dish. My husband got fish and chips. The fish was perfectly fried and the tarter sauce was obviously house made because it tasted very fresh and lemony. The chips were fine, but unremarkable in my opinion. For my meal, I ordered pumpkin walnut gnocchi. It was delicious! Just enough pumpkin without being overpowering. There was quite a bit of kale (I think it was kale, the menu didn't say) that came with the dish. It was very good, but probably could have been dialed back a little. The service was friendly and prompt. Definitely a great way to start our London vacation!

The establishment has a nice mixture of cozy and airy, which was perfect for a lazy(ish) Sunday. I hate to use this word, but I'll use it anyway (because I can't think of a better descriptor): the service here is "super" friendly, and very knowledgeable, particularly regarding the ales on tap. The barkeep gave us a few sample pours without waiting for us to ask, which we greatly appreciated. Because of that, we were more than happy with the pints we ordered. Moving on to the food: the roasts were delicious, in particular the pork loin, which was moist and flavorful. I enjoyed my roast beef as well. The Yorkshire pudding was wonderful and I might have been just as happy eating that alone for my meal, to be honest. The pub is in walking distance of the touristy areas of Greenwich, so it's easy enough to put some good food in your belly and continue on to your sightseeing, afterward.
