There was a line but Johnny, who I believe is the owner was quick and friendly to his other patrons. I have a cranky 2 year old and a rambunctious 5 year old but he was able to give them quick, effective short cuts. Without even going into detail, he just asked them if I wanted it short and he went straight to work. $25/each for a kids cut for less than 30 minutes is not bad. Previous barbers are afraid to go very short which makes me need to go in every 2 weeks. He went exactly the amount I was looking for and we won't be back for another 3 weeks. FYI you don't come here for the ambiance. You come for a straight shooter, great service and skills. The price is not bad either. I'll be coming back with my boys.

I now live somewhere else, but with pretty much every barber shop I've been to lately, the barber likes to rush through the haircut/clean up and destroy my skin by not using any lubrication when shaving either my neck or beard with a straight razor. Today was one of the worst experiences I've had with that issue. The barber I had completely cut up the side of my neck to the point where I had blood dripping onto my shirt. I don't understand what makes any master barber think that it's ok to shave ANY part of anyone's body dry. It's unacceptable, and I can't say I'll be returning here ever again. It seems the only place I can get a nice haircut and beard trim is at Roosevelt Field at Art of Shaving, which is extremely expensive. You would think that when using such a dangerous tool the barber would take extra precaution to use plenty of shaving cream so as not to slice up the skin, but I guess not. I'm sorry I had to write this review because I love the guys in there, but I just couldn't hold this one back.

I'm a white dork with complicated hair and the gentleman who cut my hair knew my hair better than any other barber I've seen in my life in mere seconds. Language barrier was pretty massive.
